Capítulo 62: LXII. Ectoplasm.

With no more enemies around to be seen or felt, Vanilla and Rowie finally headed to the rat tunnel at the bottom of the basement. "It doesn't seem like someone was here before," Vanilla commented at it.

Even if she didn't pay attention to the state of the tunnel, she could swear it was still the same as she left it last time. "It smells like that Ectoplasm, though," Rowie said, sniffing the ground around it.

"More ectoplasm?" She responded, kneeling next to him. "That was interesting, but doesn't make much sense."

"Why so?" He tilted his head.

"We just killed two ghosts and saved theirs, but this means that there is something else..." She rubbed her cheeks.

"Are more of those monsters? I'm not sniffing anything."

"I don't think so, and that's what doesn't make sense. Ectoplasm doesn't secret any odors unless the apparition is already defeated. This could mean that there was a third ghost that died recently here."
