"No, no, no! This can't be happening!" The clerk held his head from both sides with a panicked expression.
"...Y-you will have a problem too, you just attacked me and injured me, while I did nothing!!" When the clerk felt the blood on his hands, he quickly snapped at Yuichi.
"Huh? Hahaha. Are you trying to propose something to me?" Yuichi asked with an amused smile and dull green eyes. He already sent a message to Ayanokoji so he should be here with security very shortly.
"I-" The clerk's expression brightened as he heard Yuichi's words but before he could say anything, Yuichi cut him short by extending his hand in front of him as if he was saying that he won't listen to his bullshit.
"We don't have much time so let me fill you in. Defense of others is very similar to self-defense, you can charge me for assault but I will charge you for an attempt to violate high school girl. Not to mention, I have evidence and that little damage won't cause me any problems, the only way I would get into trouble would be if I attacked you right now without any other provocation. So please wait here until security arrives, they should be here in a minute." Yuichi said with a cold smile.
Sakura already woke up from her daze and retreated away from Yuichi with an embarrassed expression.
'...I always thought that Iwamura-kun is an exemplary type of student, being always polite and friendly, however, this side of his shows that there is something more into him than it seems.' Sakura thought while warily looking at Yuichi's cold expression. What shocked her, even more, is that he wasn't angry, neither he had a serious expression...He was wearing an amused smile while looking at the clerk with cold eyes.
"This can't be real-!" The clerk muttered with an absent-minded expression before quickly getting to his feet and trying to run away.
"Trying to run away from the crime scene?" Yuichi ran after him and very quickly caught up to him since he already expected him to try to run away. Yuichi tripped him and when the clerk has fallen down on the ground, Yuichi jumped on his back, locking both of his hands while twisting them a bit in the process.
"Aaagh! Stop! You are going to break my arms! What the hell happened with what you just said about not attacking me?!!" The clerk almost squealed in pain as he begged Yuichi to stop.
"Have you ever heard of citizen's arrest? You are trying to flee from the scene before the law-enforcements can arrive. I am just making sure that you can't move away, as long as I won't cause you any unnecessary damage, I will be completely free of charge. Also... try not to fight back too much or I might harm you out of negligence, after all, I am just an ignorant student who has no experience with fighting or subduing people. By the way, if that truly happened, I also wouldn't be punished." Yuichi explained with a cold smile while looking down at the clerk's face with his dull green eyes. While he was explaining everything he never eased his grip on the clerk's arms.
"What is happening here?!" 2 adults in uniforms quickly ran into the alley with Ayanokoji behind them.
"Eh?" When he looked at the situation, he was quite surprised. He didn't expect that it would escalate so far where the assailant would be bleeding from his head.
"This man tried to violate our friend and when I interrupted, he tried to run away so I just detained him until legally party can arrest him and take him into their custody. I apologize if I have caused him some injuries but I was really scared and I had to help my friend so I did whatever was necessary...Here are some photos as evidence." Yuichi said pitifully while handing out his phone and the officers that just arrived couldn't help but soften their glares as they just nodded their heads at Yuichi.
They confirmed the story with Sakura and Ayanokoji informed everyone of the security camera across the street that might have recorded everything.
After hearing Yuichi acting so pitiful, the clerk couldn't help but shout that this was set-up by Yuichi and other theories. He also started spouting some bullshit about Yuichi playing a wolf in sheep's clothing but his words never reached anyone...well, maybe except for Ayanokoji and Sakura. The officers just took the clerk with them and left the scene after reminding Yuichi's group to stay out of trouble.
"Um...Ayanokoji-kun...?" Sakura was quite surprised to see him here so she greeted him quite awkwardly and he just nodded his head as a greeting.
"He helped me...the entire time that is. I was aware of those comments on your blog and I connected the dots with the day we visited that electronics shop so from that day on, I started keeping an eye on you but I couldn't do it alone. You have said that you are friends with Ayanokoji-kun, so I decided to ask him for help here." Yuichi quickly explained the situation to Sakura and her eyes widened in realization before she looked towards Ayanokoji and he just nodded as if to confirm Yuichi's words.
"T-thank you very much, both of you!" Sakura bowed to both Yuichi and Ayanokoji but she was still shaking a little bit from this encounter.
"Um...I am sorry for doing something like that behind your back. I didn't mean to tell anyone anything but I wanted to make sure you will be all right and Ayanokoji-kun is the only person you admitted as your friend." Yuichi apologized while scratching the back of his head with an apologetic expression before he noticed Sakura's glasses on the ground, he was a bit confused why she didn't pick them up so he did it for her and handed them to her.
Sakura looked at her glasses being handed to her but before she took them from Yuichi, she stared at them for a short while.
"Hm? Is something wrong?" Yuichi asked and even Ayanokoji looked confused by Sakura's sudden freeze.
"Iwamura-kun, what do you think about my glasses?" Sakura suddenly raised her head to face Yuichi and asked with a determined expression.
"? Eh, well...I guess you don't need them, they only obstruct the view on your nice gradient blue eyes." Yuichi was a bit caught off guard by her question so he answered honestly what he thought before glancing at Ayanokoji as if to ask what is going on but Ayanokoji just looked away.
Yuichi wasn't sure if Sakura wanted to talk about those more personal matters right in front of Ayanokoji but it seemed like she didn't care anymore which was quite odd to him.
"Er, well, I will be going, you two" Ayanokoji wanted to excuse himself as he sensed a weird atmosphere.
"No! Please don't go, I-I want to announce something to you both. It will no longer be an announcement if one of you leaves..." Sakura almost shouted out when she heard Ayanokoji's intention to leave which caused him to freeze in place.
"...Go ahead, please." Ayanokoji nodded his head with an understanding expression.
"No need to force yourself into anything but if you really want to say something to us, do it properly with confidence. I am pretty sure you can do it after everything that happened." Yuichi folded his arms and said with a faint smile.
*inhale* *exhale* "I no longer want to live in a lie. I no longer want to keep hiding my face, I want to spend time with friends as we did previously on that Sunday with Kushida-san and Mei-san." Sakura took a few deep breaths before saying this with a determined expression. She also hid her glasses into her pocket after saying all of that.
"Does that mean, you don't care if everyone else discovers...that thing?" Yuichi asked.
*inhale* "Yes, I like taking photos and I used to be an idol." Sakura nodded her head while saying out in a confident tone and taking a look at Ayanokoji's reaction.
"Er, Sakura, I am sorry but Kushida already discovered it and informed me while they were holding a party in my room. A few people already know about it." Ayanokoji explained when he noticed Sakura's looking out for his reaction so he explained himself before she could even act confused why he doesn't seem surprised.
'Hm? Why would Kushida tell Ayanokoji out of all people? She has been hanging out around him and Horikita quite a lot, it's as if she is keeping an eye on both of them. Ayanokoji shouldn't interest her but somehow she still hangs out around a person who has no interesting traits about him. Why? Unless she knows something about him or they have some mutual agreement, there is no reason for her to hang out around him so much.' Yuichi thought when he heard Ayanokoji's words.
"Oh? I guess that was the reason why she kept looking at me during that Sunday at the mall...I don't know why but it makes me feel only more relieved, knowing that a few more people already know about it yet nothing strange happened." Sakura said with a relieved expression and closed eyes, there was a faint smile on her face, indicating that she was currently feeling satisfied with how the situation developed itself.
*Clap* "Well, everything ended well and they lived happily ever after" Yuichi clapped his hands and said with a smile while looking back and forth between Sakura and Ayanokoji.
"Hehe, I guess everything ended well, thanks to both of you." Sakura giggled a bit after hearing Yuichi end this what seemed like a nightmare at first as a fairy tale.
They decided to go back to the dorms together and Sakura actually never tried to pull out her glasses from her pocket as they walked to the dorms.
'...I guess that's done...Now, I should have time to relax, I have some points, I have redirected everything to Horikita and she should be capable enough to protect herself from such conspiracies from the 3rd party.
