Capítulo 24: #24 Competition
"Hey, guys! What are you doing? You seem to be having fun."
Everyone turned to right once they heard a feminine voice and most of the guys froze from what they saw in front of them. It was Kushida in a school swimsuit, leaning forward, revealing more of her cleavage, her boobs were big enough that they started bouncing once she leaned forward enough. Her pose also complimented a lot her curves and despite her having only plain school swimsuit, it was enough to see her voluptuous butt and thighs. The swimsuit has shown even more of her beauty however Yuichi who was quite cautious around her rather glanced to the side where he immediately found Horikita.
"Hm?" Horikita raised her eyebrow in confusion once her eyes met up with Yuichi's.
"K-Kushida-chan!!! N-Nothing, we were definitely doing nothing just now!" Ike quickly replied while waving his hands in front of him in nervous manner.
Most of the guys took a good look at Kushida before averting their eyes except for Ike and Yamauchi who even started chanting her name numerous with satisfied expressions.
'This is actually scary...I really wonder how this girl can take this on without feeling disgusted or embarrassed. It seems like other girls want to kill those 2...better keep my distance' Yuichi thought, taking a few steps away from those 2.
While Kushida looked like ideal waifu material...bright, cheerful, ready to cheer you up after a hard day...Horikita on the other hand looked like an elegant refined lady who would hold a sophisticated conversation with you, however no one really paid her that much attention when Kushida was in their sights.
Horikita's curves were definitely beautiful however she lacked in chest area compared to Kushida although it couldn't be said that she was small there either.
Yuichi also found Mei in the crowd of girls who just arrived and saw her hiding behind a few of her friends. Seeing that, he couldn't help but chuckle with an amused smile.
"It seems like we had the same idea" Yuichi muttered with a grin when Ayanokoji also backed away from the main group and went to join Yuichi on the side.
"I just feel safer not being too close to them." Ayanokoji replied.
"Heh, do you mean boys or girls?" Yuichi snickered and asked which prompted Ayanokoji to look at him with an uncertain expression.
"Not sure..." He replied before averting his eyes away from the girls.
"Where are Sakura-san and Hasebe-san?!" Yamauchi asked with an excited expression while searching for them however when someone pointed towards the observation deck right next to the large pool.
"Eh?!!" Both Ike and Yamauchi exclaimed in disappointment when they saw two girls sitting there in their uniforms.

Horikita approached Ayanokoji and Yuichi as she began observing both of them, making them feel a bit awkward.
"Well, should I say as expected in Iwamura-kun's case? However, Ayanokoji-kun, you, do you do sports?" Horikita said before glancing at Ayanokoji with a bit surprised expression.
Ayanokoji shook his head and said the same thing he said to Yuichi.
"Alright everyone, line up!" A macho-looking guy shouted with a smile, he was their swimming class' teacher.
"Hmm? Alright, after you warm up, I want to see what you are capable of. All of you will swim for me so I can see how many of you can actually swim." He looked over everyone in line with a bit surprised expression, most likely from the number of students who actually decided to attend the class before he stated with a commanding tone yet with a relaxed smile which gave him quite a mixed image. Stern if you won't do as he says, relaxed if you try your best...
"Um, sir, what if I can't swim?" One student raised his hand and asked with an embarrassed expression.
"Don't worry, as your teacher I promise you that you will be swimming like a pro by summertime." The teacher said with a reassuring smile.
A few students started to complain that there is no reason to force themselves to swim since they aren't really going to the beach but the teacher refuted their words and said that we will definitely find swimming useful, he especially empathized word "definitely"
"Will it also "definitely" come in handy by the summertime?" Yuichi asked with a faint smile.
"Eh?...Of course!" The teacher was a bit startled by Yuichi's question as he also empathized word definitely, however the teacher only smiled back and replied to him.
Hearing the reply, Yuichi couldn't help but frown.
'What has got this school in plans for us?' Yuichi thought that this teacher's words were more of hints than encouraging words.
Everyone got into the pool and started to swim from one end to another at a relaxed pace.
After a few minutes, the teacher finally stopped everyone.
"Alright, I have seen most of you have no problem with swimming so let's hold a little competition. I will separate you into groups by your gender and you will do Fifty-meter freestyle on time."
"Whaat? Competition?!" Ike sounded a bit startled by this announcement."
"Yes, and the one who finishes on the first place, will get a bonus consisting of 5.000 points from me! However, the student in the last place will have to take supplementary lessons. Get ready everyone. Once I call out your name, I want to see you on the block, ready to dive in." The teacher said and clapped his hands a few times as if to say "chop-chop".
'5.000 points for finishing the first? This is the first opportunity to make a profit aside from our monthly income.' Yuichi thought before narrowing his eyes, determined to get those points.
Since there were more boys than girls, boys were divided into groups of 5 and the first one always advanced further.
In the first round, Yuichi swam against Ike, Yamauchi, Yukimura, and another student.
In that round, Yuichi ended up first with a time of 25 seconds. Hearing the results, most of the girls congratulated him, and while at it they also said that they will attend his match against the basketball club's core team.
Yuichi thanked everyone with a friendly smile before focusing on others. Hirata in his group finished with a time of 26 seconds. Sudo was also quite a fast swimmer, finishing with time around 26 seconds too. However there was someone even more abnormal, it was Kouenji who finished in 23 seconds. However that wasn't probably the most bizarre thing, he was wearing a tight type of swimsuit which easily revealed his bulge, making all girls look away.
'To think that he is that fast...I might be able to match him if I go all out but I haven't stretched enough so I might injure myself but I can't just leave him those points' Yuichi thought with narrowed eyes.
"Well, the first place has 2 seconds lead in front of the second place...Do you want to hold that final round or is this it?" The teacher asked if Yuichi and others wanted to continue in competing.
"Naturally..." Yuichi said, stepping forward.
"Yeah!" Sudo followed after him while clenching his fist.
"I am alright..." Hirata said while waving his hand with closed eyes and a bright smile.
"Alright, go at the blocks so I can start the final round."
"I am not really interested in another round...winning or losing doesn't matter to me since I already competed once." Kouenji waved his hand and turned around, not interested in another round.
"Alright, if you guys want to win, you have to finish in under 23.22 seconds." The teacher announced as both Yuichi and Sudo got on the block.
'Under 23.22 seconds, huh?' Yuichi thought as his usual smile suddenly disappeared and was replaced by indifferent, serious expression as he was staring at the other end of the pool.

"You can do it, Iwamura-kun!" A few girls started cheering Yuichi on.
"Hm? I have never seen him with such serious expression but it suits him the same way as his smile~!" Matsushita muttered with a surprised expression.
Both Hirata and Karuizawa looked towards Mei who was standing near them and she also noticed their stares.
"If Yuichi has such expression, it just means that he is taking it seriously." Mei explained with a faint smile, looking forward to this round.

When the whistle blew, both of them dove in however from the start it was visible that Yuichi jumped much further than Sudo which gave him lead right from the beginning. When they finished their race, Yuichi had a few seconds lead from Sudo and everyone just waited for the teacher to announce the results.
"24.46 seconds"
"...22.15 seconds" The teacher announced with a serious expression.
"Yaaaaay!" Most of the girls cheered after hearing the results.
Sudo definitely improved his last time but Yuichi was able to defeat Kouenji's time.
*huff* *huff* When Yuichi got out of the pool, he was catching his breath with his hands resting on his hips because he swam the entire race without taking a single breath.

"Kya! Isn't he cool? He was able to finish in such a short time!"
"Tch! I really hate handsome guys!" Ike complained to himself on the side after hearing a few girls squeal when Yuichi got out of the pool.
