Capítulo 23: #23 Swimming class
The swimming class quickly arrived after the lunch break and as it was time for Yuichi to go to the school's pool, he was stopped by someone on his way.
"Iwamura-kun?" Someone called out his name from behind so he stopped walking and turned around.
"Hm? Kushida-san? Is there something you need from me?" Yuichi replied with his regular friendly smile, seeing that it was the most cheerful and probably most popular girl in the entire class.
"Well, I noticed that you are quite close to Horikita-san so I wanted to ask you if you have ever seen her smile or laugh. Isn't she feeling lonely?" Kushida asked with a worried expression while closing in the distance between them.
"Hmm. I don't think she is that type of girl who likes to constantly smile, for her, a smile is most likely something that should be treasured and used only in special moments or something like that. Plus I am not that close to her, Ayanokoji-kun is much closer to her due to their blabbering, arguing, and whatever." Yuichi replied with a smile and closed eyes but he was feeling that she wasn't leaving him enough of space as he started to feel her breasts touching him.
"Really? Ayanokoji-kun said an exactly opposite thing but he still tried his best to help me which I am grateful for! You wouldn't know how could I become friends with Horikita-san, right?" Kushida asked while pressing for his answer by pushing her body closer while staring into his bright green eyes.
'...What's her problem?' Yuichi thought, wanting to narrow his eyes but he kept his smile on. He wasn't feeling really comfortable having a girl he knows 1 week pressing against him.
"I have already told this to someone else...You shouldn't try your best to befriend someone...it just doesn't work like that. Just try to sometimes talk to her when there is a chance but don't look desperate or try to force her into conversation with you. That's the best advice I can give to you, now, can you please, um, give me a bit of space?" Yuichi replied before requesting her to move back a bit.
"Oh? Sure! I am sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable, I truly appreciate your advice though, Iwamura-kun!" Kushida said before taking a few steps back.
"Shall we go to the pool together~?" Kushida spun 180 degrees and asked with a cheerful tone glancing back at Yuichi, holding her hands behind her back.
"Sure" Yuichi replied and both went together to the pool where their next class was about to start.
'Her desperation to make friends with everyone...Is she trying to make everyone in this class- no, in this school on her side? But even if she wants to have a backup of many people behind her, why would she be so desperate to make a friend with Horikita of all people?' Yuichi thought when they arrived at the pool and Kushida went towards women's changing room while glancing at her back with dull green eyes.

'Her approach was also very aggressive. She was using her body to push the positive answer out of me. She might be acting all cute and innocent but there is no way a girl of her age wouldn't realize that she is pressing her huge rack against someone's body. Kushida Kikyo...What is your defect?' Yuichi thought while opening the locker in the changing room with narrowed eyes.
"What's the matter?" Someone's voice woke him up from his thoughts.
"Hm? Ah, Ayanokoji-kun, it's nothing...just something on my mind" Yuichi turned to his right and replied with a bright smile.
"The bet between you and the basketball club?" Ayanokoji asked with a slightly worried tone but his expression remained calm without a change.
"Heh, that's the last thing on my mind." Yuichi snickered and replied with a relaxed smile.
'Even if you have absolute confidence in your skills, anything unexpected can happen...' Ayanokoji thought about Yuichi's confidence.
"Hey, guys! The last chance to place your bets! The one currently in the lead is Hasebe! The minimum bet is 1.000 points!" Ike announced which garnered everyone's attention.
"They are really spending points on bets who have a bigger rack?" Yuichi muttered with a dumbfounded expression before glancing at Ayanokoji.
"Eh...Please don't look at me, I have nothing to do with it" Ayanokoji replied with a bit awkward expression.
"My money is definitely on Sakura!" Yamauchi said with an excited smile.
"I am only telling you guys about this so keep it secret. The truth is, I actually confessed to Sakura." Yamauchi added right after.
'But why?' Yuichi thought why would he say that even though no one asked or seemed interested in the girl named Sakura. It made him feel like he was boasting with lies like before with baseball matter.
'This guy has some kind of tendencies to lie...' Yuichi rolled his eyes while finishing changing into his swimming shorts.
"Wha-?! Seriously?! But isn't she kinda...plain?" Ike was a bit frustrated by this but he still asked with a curious expression.
"Well, she was until I saw her in her regular clothes and man...she is HUGE!" Yamauchi said.
"For real? Even if she has got huge tits, you shouldn't ask her out if she isn't cute. I wouldn't date anyone unless they were in the same league as Kushida or Hasabe." Ike looked at Yamauchi as if he was an idiot before stating with a smug on his face.
*clang* "I am going ahead guys." No longer wanting to listen to this kind of talk, Yuichi closed his locker with a bit more force before leaving the changing room.
"Huh?" Ike and Yamauchi looked at his back with a confused expression before they looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.
The main reason Yuichi didn't want to remain there is that he is aware that there are girls that look kinda plain at first sight next to other more attractive girls like Kushida and Hasebe and he was also aware that Mei was most likely plain in their eyes too, fortunately, she doesn't have a huge rack like Sakura so there was no trash talking about her.
"You know Sakura personally?" Ayanakoji shortly followed after him and asked after arriving next to him, looking over the big pool, exactly the same pool used in the Olympics.
"Hm? I have yet to talk to her. She seemed quite timid so I didn't force her to exchange a few words with me." Yuichi replied with his hands placed on his hips.
"...You are really an athletic guy, huh? Under all those clothes, I have never noticed but you might be more ripped than Sudo himself." Ayanokoji probably didn't want the conversation to end so awkwardly so he said whatever came into his mind first.
'That sounded a bit weird...?!' Yuichi thought but then he looked at Ayanokoji and noticed his inconspicuous arm muscles.
"I wouldn't go that far, he has more muscles, I only have them more refined since I weight a bit less and have less fat than him, making them more visible." Yuichi replied with a humble smile and closed eyes.
'Muscles in those areas are usually from practicing martial arts or practical physical activities...' Yuichi thought before he opened his eyes and secretly checked muscles on Ayanokoji's legs.
'This guy might not be what he seems to be' Yuichi thought with a smirk.
"What about you, Ayanokoji-kun? Have you ever practiced anything?" Yuichi asked with a curious expression.
"Hm? Not really anything sports like, even during my Junior High I was in the Go-home club." Ayanokoji replied immediately with a bit of embarrassed expression.
"Go-home club, huh? That must have been nice, having a lot of free time to yourself." Yuichi muttered with a smile.
Ayanokoji wanted to reply to him but he was interrupted as someone threw their arm over his shoulder.
"Whoa! Look at this big pool! This school is definitely the best! Now, where are the girls?" Ike exclaimed while looking all around, taking in sights in front of him before his expression changed to a lewd one as he began glancing around but he couldn't find a single girl.
"They are most likely still changing, they usually take more time to change than boys" Ayanokoji replied with a calm expression.
"I guess you are right...Shit! Now that we are here, waiting for them to arrive...It just struck me!" Ike started fidgeting all over as he began to be more nervous each second before he stopped moving with his eyes wide open.
"What?!" Yamauchi asked with a worried look.
"What if I get a boner in the middle of the class?" Ike exclaimed while covering his private parts with both hands through the swimming shorts.
'Is this what Senior High School is about?' Yuichi thought with a faint smile, actually a little amused by their talk.
"If you were fine in front of Chabashira-sensei's big cleavage, you will be fine seeing girls in their swimsuits. Plus they will be wearing school swimsuits, there will be no bikinis" Yuichi replied to him with an amused smile.
"Maan but that's completely different! I wouldn't even dare to fantasize about that demon, however, Kushida for example...heh, that's a different case." Ike shouted at Yuichi with closed eyes before he once again mentioned Kushida with his lewd expression, indicating that his mind was somewhere else.
'Then just don't fantasize about anyone!' Yuichi misunderstood since he thought that Ike would get a boner from just sight in front of him however Yuichi never thought of the possibility that Ike also fantasizes about someone while looking at that person.
"Also, I had no idea you have such tastes, Iwamura-kun" Ike suddenly said with a thoughtful expression.
"What?" Yuichi raised his eyebrow in confusion.
"You know...I don't think you mentioning Chabashira-sensei was just a coincidence...Yep, yep, but don't worry, I don't judge." Ike said with a wide smile, resting his chin in an arch formed between index finger and thumb.
"...Just be careful not to get a boner before even girls arrive, that would be truly disturbing." Yuichi narrowed his eyes and said with a cold smile.
