Capítulo 13: #13 1-D
After a few stops, the young woman standing next to Yuichi had to get off but she quickly nodded at him before getting off and Yuichi also nodded his head with a faint smile before turning back to his observation of the surroundings from the window.
"You didn't care about the seat right from the beginning, you just wanted to kill some time, didn't you?" The young blond man suddenly said with a faint smile and closed eyes.
"Hm? What do you mean?" Yuichi replied without tearing his eyes off the windows.
"Alright, play ignorant" He said back to Yuichi before sliding his earphones in with a smug on his face, however that truly never bothered Yuichi.
To him, everyone looked the same. No matter how arrogant, gentle, sensible...he saw everyone the same way.
It took several minutes before they arrived at the final destination and all students started getting off the bus, and since Yuichi wasn't in a hurry, he patiently waited for everyone to get off before he also got off the bus just to see a long black haired girl and brown-haired guy stopping in front of the school's big stone gate.
They started talking with a few meters distance away from each other. Seeing that there is no other way, Yuichi just walked in between them, passing them, perhaps a bit rudely but they were standing at a quite inconvenient place.
The black-haired girl frowned and looked at Yuichi's back before turning back to the guy with brown hair to finish the conversation with him.
Yuichi attended the entrance ceremony where he had to listen to the speech of the principal and student council president. He spent the most time there just looking around at other students. He also caught glimpse of Mei but he decided not to approach her since there were too many people plus both agreed to act just like normal friends and not best friends with 1st name basis since it might cause some misunderstandings which would be very unfortunately right on the first day of the school.

'Now that I think about it...isn't it a bit pathetic to be sorted into Class D? I hoped for at least C, but I guess that's what I get from their suspicion of me.' Yuichi thought while standing in front of the sliding doors with the sign [1-D] on them.
Yuichi faintly smiled before opening the door and walking in, and since he was among the last people to come, he naturally garnered a lot of attention and Yuichi just smiled as a greeting and most people nodded at him or smiled back, while more shy ones just averted their eyes. Since most students were already sitting on their seats or standing near them, it wasn't that hard for Yuichi to find his seat.
'Near the window, second from the back, right in front of that brown-haired guy...there is even that girl...What kind of coincidence is this for those two?' Yuichi thought sparing both a glance before he sat down. When he looked at Mei, he found out that she was already talking with a few girls which made him smile before he turned on the left to look out of the window.
'There is always some kind of leader who will suggest an introduction to each other' Yuichi thought while staring out of the window with a peaceful smile, observing quite beautiful and modern school grounds.
'Still, I noticed awfully a lot of security cameras everywhere...Is this why Shishō wanted me to attend this school? How wholesome...he is worried about me...or perhaps about others? Looks like there is also that guy who likes to argue.'
*Clap* *Clap* "Everyone, can I have your attention please?" finally as Yuichi predicted, someone, stepped in front of the entire class and clapped their hands to gather the attention and to make all people who were talking to quiet down.
Yuichi looked in front of the class at the young man of average height with blonde hair.
'I guess not everyone with blonde hair has the tendency to argue about trivial things.' Yuichi thought with an amused smile as the young man started explaining things.
"I would like for everyone to introduce themselves since most of us don't know each other and I think it is essential that we get along for the next 3 years. What do you think, everyone?" The boy said, asking for everyone's opinion to not appear to be too bossy.
"I am in!"
"Sounds fine!"
"Sure, I don't know anyone's name."
The only ones who responded were the girls in front seats.
'Looks like that girl who helped that elderly woman is also here, what kind of coincidence is this for real...' Yuichi thought while glancing at girl with short beige-colored hair, gradient crimson eyes and cheerful expression on her face.
"Alright then if no one minds, I will start first. I am Hirata Yosuke however you can call me Yosuke, no need for formality. I play all kinds of sports, and I intend to join the soccer club at this school." The boy named Hirata Yosuke introduced himself with a friendly smile.
Immediately after him, the girl from the bus introduced herself as Kushida Kikyo. Having speech how she wants to befriend everyone which sounded quite bad in Yuichi's ears
'You can't befriend everyone, there are types of people who will always repel each other.' Yuichi thought after her introduction was done.
Many others followed...
Inogashira Kokoro - A bit timid girl with shoulder-length brown hair and yellow-gradient violet eyes.
Then there was a boy named Yamauchi Haruki with short brown hair and red eyes. Apparently he was ace of the baseball team in his Junior High but Yuichi didn't believe him much because despite him having all those clothes on, it was easily distinguished that someone like Hirata is a sport type of guy however Yamauchi guy looked too slim without any muscle mass. Also, his way of breathing was very unsteady and chaotic while Yuichi the first thing he did after joining the basketball and soccer club was learning how to properly breathe.
The introductions went on and on until the guy sitting in front of Yuichi was done so it was his turn now.
Hirata looked at Yuichi with an inviting smile so Yuichi stuffed his right hand into his pocket while letting left hand out to show that he isn't someone uptight before getting up from his seat.
"Hi, my name is Iwamura Yuichi but feel free to use my first name. As Yosuke-kun here, I also like to play all kinds of sports but especially basketball and soccer are my favorite. As for things I don't like...I think I can skip that and hope nothing of the sort will happen here. Pleased to meet you all." Yuichi introduced himself with a bright, relaxed yet confident smile.
'Oi, oi, didn't that last part sound a bit like a threat...or is it just me?' The guy behind Yuichi thought before glancing next to him at his black-haired neighbor who also frowned after hearing Yuichi's introduction.
*clap* *clap*
Everyone started clapping as Yuichi introduced himself, well, almost everyone except for some jealous boys who noticed that there is another guy similar to Hirata who garnered the attention of most girls.
"Nice to meet you, Yuichi-kun! I hope you can join the soccer club so we can play together!" Hirata immediately nodded his head with a grateful smile, hearing someone finally call him by his first name without any awkwardness.
There was also a boy who was sitting on the door's side and at the back of the room looking pretty pissed with these introductions and looked like he was about to interrupt but when he heard Yuichi's introduction, a thoughtful expression appeared on his face.
"I am planning-" Yuichi wanted to reply to Hirata's quick question but he was interrupted in midway.
"Wait. Are you "that" Iwamura Yuichi?" The guy rudely interrupted Yuichi and asked. Yuichi turned back at him to see a guy with a muscular physique and dyed red hair. The loosened upper buttons of his shirt gave him quite a wild and intimidating look.
"You are...?" Yuichi muttered, trying to remember the guy but he was positive that he never saw him.
"Sudo Ken" He replied shortly. The entire introduction matter got stopped and the attention of all people was turned to their conversation however most people were intrigued by what guy named Sudo meant with his question.
"You know me from somewhere?" Yuichi asked with a confused expression.
"You kidding? You were and are quite famous among the sports clubs in Junior High schools. Iwamura Yuichi, captain of 2 different clubs already at his 2nd-year and also a champion of Junior High nationals in both basketball and soccer while also 2 times champion in soccer. Will you try to join 2 clubs this time too?" Sudo said which caused Yuichi to frown down by being so blatantly exposed.
His words naturally caused enormous commotion within the classroom. It was one thing boasting about yourself which can be a lie but if someone else is boasting about you, it's most likely the truth...that's how most of the people thought.
"EEEH?!!!" Almost everyone exclaimed looking at Sudo before turning to Yuichi with a dumbfounded expression. Even Hirata was staring at him with wide-open eyes.
'This is not like I have imagined the first day to play out...' Yuichi thought with a troublesome expression before he noticed Mei giggling while looking at him.
