"I can do it. It's something I will have to do a lot in the future so I need to learn to withstand it no matter what," Charlie said. He gave her a reassuring smile before he went ahead and pulled her trousers up.

Charlie grits his teeth as he used the damped cotton wool to treat her leg injury. Gabrielle's grip on the couch tightened as she shut her eyes and tried not to make a sound.

"So how did you meet Iris?" Charlie initiated a conversation as he continue treating her injuries.

He paused what he was doing and raised his gaze to look at her face. "Iris is always around the Leader so did you go to the hideout tonight?" Charlie made a guess based on what he had seen.

He frowned when she continued to keep quiet on him.
