Capítulo 36: The Witch's Revelation Left The Princess Speechless
"All that was revealed to me is that a saviour will come for us and his arrival won't take long, but his appearance was never revealed to us. Nobody is certain how he is gonna defeat you, only those above know how he is going to overthrow the current Royal family's tyranny reign....,"
"Shut it already!" Michelle shouted angrily. She has been paying a deaf ear to how the witch continually calls her family's rule tyrannical, but she cannot take it anymore.
"If you dare as to call my family's reign tyrannical again, I will cut off your tongue and seal your mouth right here," Michelle said devilishly.
Anita knows that Michelle wasn't joking about her words. Whatever she says, she executes it no matter the consequences. Anita always speaks fearlessly to the Emperor and Empress whenever they visit her. Sometimes she speaks beyond her limit, knowing that the Emperor and Empress will not dare to murder her since they needed something from her. But the princess is different. She needs nothing from her, so she will murder her right there without flinching if she dares to disobey or annoy her. She always speaks with caution whenever she addresses the princess, but sometimes she always ends up saying what she shouldn't say.
"There is something I forgot to say earlier," Anita broke off the three minutes' silence.
"Before the saviour comes, a being twice as powerful as you will emerge among us," Anita continued when Michelle did not speak.
"And who the hell is the audacious being that is planning to revolt? Tell me and I will make sure such a being experienced the worst death on earth before he or she can even gain those superior powers," Michelle said fiercely. She vowed to murder the witch if she dares try to play mind games with her.
"Your parents," Anita revealed without hesitation. She focused her gaze on Michelle to see her reaction.
"The Empress and Emperor?" Michelle asked in shock. Her expression shows she wasn't expecting them to be the ones.
"Yes, they have always been power-hungry and I am sure you know this. They will stop at nothing to be the strongest beings alive," Anita said coldly.
"They have always paraded themselves as the strongest beings alive until your birth. At first, when your mother delivered you, they both thought there was nothing special about you, but their perspective of you changed when you defeated your former master at age 9. Do you still remember how Emperor Sampson stylishly tried to seal your power back then?" Anita asked her gaze on Michelle who looked restless.
"Seeing your expression, I guess you do. If you had allowed your father successfully sealed your power back, they would have turned you into their killing machine...,"
"That is not true. I was just a child back then, they wouldn't have done that to me," Michelle denied shaking her head I denials. The moment she heard this revelation, her confidence started faltering.
"You have lived with them for twenty years. I am sure you know that all I have just said is the truth," Anita said seriously.
She is among those who loathe the royal family with all her might, but there is one thing she realises after being locked up in this dark lifeless dungeon for fifteen years. She realises that the peerless beauty before her fell into the hands of the wrong parents who have taught her nothing but how to be cruel. Anita believes that the princess wouldn't have become a demon she is today if someone had guided her on how to use her powers for the right course.
"They didn't think of you as much of a threat to their throne. Not until you defeated your master, who was your father at age 16. Since that day you defeated him in front of the entire dignitaries and empire, you became the biggest threat to them. As we are speaking, your parents who act as though they adore you, consider you as their biggest threat and they will stop at nothing to eliminate that threat...,"
"Stop spewing nonsense or I will seal your mouth right this minute," Michelle said fiercely. Since Anita has known the Princess, she has never seen her shiver, but right now Anita could see her trembling hands.
All parents in the universe all want to protect their children, but that was not the case with Michelle. Her parents who supposed to protect her are the ones seeking for her doom.
"Since then, the Emperor and Empress have been trying to speed up their experiment they had embarked on before your birth. At the moment the experiment is at its last stage and you don't need me to tell you what will become of you if their plan succeeds," Anita said. Her gaze never left Michelle's body.
"I said shut your trap?" Michelle screamed angrily. The loudness of her voice almost damaged Anita's eardrums.
"Why haven't you asked me what exactly your parents are up or don't tell me you want to become their prey one day?" Anita insisted, not taking heeds to Michelle's orders.
"Because I know that you are going to keep on spewing rubbish," Michelle said. She lacked the confidence to stare directly at Anita.
"Am I the one spewing nonsense or are you the one still in denials? You should know the answer," Anita said confidently. They both stop talking for a few seconds.
"Let me ask you a question. Have you never for once wondered what goes on in that southwestern room locked with the ancient beast tribe chain? Have you never sat down and think why your parents said that room is out of bounds," Anita asked inquisitively.
"That is because....," Michelle could not find a reasonable answer to challenge Anita with.
