Capítulo 32: Encounter With The Ancient Witch (The First Curse)

"I was really in a good mood earlier but you have just ruin it with your words and you will bear the consequences," Michelle reproached as she turned the lady into a hideous beast. Her maids burst out in a deafening laughter when they saw what their princess had turned the beautiful lady into.

"For looking down on the royal family, you will remain a wild beast forever," Michelle said walking away. She did not walk far before she realised she could not move away from the spot she was in, no matter how hard she tried.

"What is wrong? My powers are not working? Did somebody cast a spell on me?" Michelle thought. This is the first in her life that she has never been able to use her powers, and she hates this.

Nobody in the kingdom has magical power except for her, her father and the witch, so who is responsible for this? The witch is locked up in the palace and her dad would never do this to her, so who cast a spell on her?

"Just because you have the powers, you think you are so mighty. Did you think that those superior powers of yours were given to you for you to use them to oppress the helpless humans?" A loud voice sounding like that of an old woman echoed on the road. The voice sounded angry and magical.

"You are wrong if you think so. Those powers were bestowed upon you to save the humans from the likes of your parents, other vampires and werewolves. It is not your fault you were born a vampire, and it is also not your fault you were born to such heartless parents, but you could have chosen not to walk in your parents' footsteps. You could have chosen to make a difference, but you instead became more tyranny than your parents," The voice said. Michelle could feel the person's presence, but she couldn't see her face since she couldn't move.

"Who are you to teach me how to behave? I am a princess with supernatural powers, so I can do whatsoever I desire with my powers. Nobody has the right to question my authority," Michelle said angrily, trying every possible method to free herself and her maids.

"Do you think everyone will respect and love you just because you rule them with iron hands?" the voice said mockingly, refusing to show herself. "No, instead of respect, the human who owns the world you live in will loathes beings like you. They will try every means possible to overthrow you and your parents," the voice admonished.

"I know the witch living in the palace might not have prophesied that the heavens are sending a helper to humans. He will bring your doom and that of the royal family. Be prepared for his coming because the moment you set your eyes on him you will be powerless," The voice said proudly.

"The heaven? You are just so delusional. The heaven does not exist. They are just things made up by the weak humans," Michelle said, getting frustrated she couldn't free herself.

"You can ask that old witch leeching off you whether or not the heaven really exists. I am sure she is in the better position to give you the answers you require. The doom of the royal family is near, the royal family should brace themselves up for their doom," the voice said mockingly.

"I don't believe a word you say. You are a liar," Michelle said angrily.

"If you think I am lying, then why do you sound so scared, Michelle," the voice mocked her more. She is a witch so she could read the princess' mind. She knows the princess's thoughts at the moment.

"How dare you call me by my name? If you are that powerful, why don't you stop hiding behind me and show your face. Release me and then let's have a fair fight to see who is more powerful," the princess stated angrily.

"You....," Michelle was speechless when the owner of the voice reveal herself. She was surprised to see that it was the lady earlier. At that instant, the beautiful lady turned into an old woman with grey hairs. She looks so old and ugly, but she wasn't toothless.

"You are not a human? What is your identity, a witch?" Michelle asked, seeing the lady suddenly changed into somebody else.

"You don't need to know. All you need to know is that I have a surprise for you," the old woman said. She used her powers and within a split second a purple rose appears in her right hand.

"For being so cruel as to turn me into an ugly beast when I never offended you, I cursed you today, Michelle Sampson. Because of what you did, in your next life you will experience the same treatments you gave to others. 11 years of your life will be like a nightmare to you because of your scarred face. You will try every means possible to kill yourself, but it will never work. Only when this 11 years is over will a miracle come to you. And the only person who will perform this miracle is your deity. May this purple rose serves as a witness to this curse," the witch cursed using the purple rose to touch her face three times. Only when the witch disappeared did the spell she cast on Michelle lose its effects.

"What just happened a moment ago. Tell me, was I hallucinating?" perplexed Michelle asked angry that there was someone in the kingdom whose spell could work on her.

"Supreme Beauty, I am sorry to say, but all that just happened few moments ago was real," Stella said, shivering. She was scared that the vicious Princess might unleash her piled up frustration on the innocent her.

As a vampire, she is powerful in human eyes but in her princess presence, her power amounts to nothing since Princess Michelle was a hundred times powerful than her. Even the Empress and the Emperor are afraid of the princess power, so who is she to compare herself to an invincible being like the princess.

"If you can hear me, old hag. I want to tell you to make sure you hide well because when I find you, I will make sure you suffer a terrible fate in my hands. It's a promise and I am sure you know I don't go back on my words," Michelle roared angrily as she used her vampire speed and got out of there in a flash.

Furious, she abandoned her previous plans and immediately returned to the palace.
