'What the hell was that?'

Lin didn't know. But whatever it was, it wasn't a good sign. He wasn't feeling particularly good about this. He really wanted to know more about the sword, but right now, he was having second thoughts.

'System, can you figure out what the hell that was?' Lin asked the system. He knew that the system hasn't been particularly helpful ever since he stepped foot in this town, but he still had to try it.

[ Alert! Alert! ] 

All of a sudden, the system started to go haywire once again, startling Lin. What is going on here? Why is the system freaking out? Was it the sword? Or was it something else? 

Lin couldn't make up his mind whether or not he should go through with it. But in the end, he decided to listen to the system, and return back up. He wasn't feeling too good about this.

But as soon as he stepped back, a voice behind him said, "Who the hell are you?"
