Swali shouted. As a normal magic user, the only thing he could do against this sort of attack was retreat frantically.

He had originally thought that following Yani would be the right choice, yet he hadn't imagined everything to go awry in a couple of minutes.

"Take my attack!" Rio spat out, as a dagger made out of ice formed in his palms, and immediately shot towards Swali.

As a sense of unprecedented fear filled his heart, he wanted to scream. Unfortunately, before Swali could even react, the dagger had already cleaved at his neck.

When Joseph and the sigma team caught up to him, they saw the secretary's body lying on the floor with blood spilling out of his neck ceaselessly. His head was lying a short distance away, his eyes still wide open in shock.

Besides the secretary's body stood Captain Rio, with the dagger in his hands.
