Then the drums beat the cadets from Shanks are prepared, their faces still covered in dirt and the platoons of Lelucard, Rommel and Arthur have slowly retreated from the back. Shanks held his sword as he looked at the incoming enemy with their weapons raised and their guns firing.

The cadets stood to their ground, with the support of their guns they were able to remove a couple of large pockets of enemy soldiers charging but it was no use as the guns' ammo had already been used.
