Capítulo 45: Assassination?! (1)
The hooded man would slowly walk towards Artirian and Elaine's table. behind his bandana he would give a small smirk while looking at the couple, his eyes would give a soft magenta color as he stared at them. Then as the hooded man walked slowly, he would release his dagger from his back hands once it fell from the sheathe and he quickly grabbed its handle. Then the hooded man would jump towards the table- striking Artirian on his chest. His face is assured that he would hit Artirian.
But he would accidently miss the tempo of his dagger suddenly and he would land on the ground and the strike missed Artirian. As the hooded man landed on the ground, Artirian would quickly grab his Bokken swords and unsheathe his sword and then quickly strike the hooded man on his left hand but the hooded man would block the incoming strike by Artirian. He would then push it upward to release the tension between them. And then the hooded man would roll back on a safe distance and he then got into a crouch position while raising his two daggers, Artirian would give a different kind of aura he never released before.
Elaine would be scared and confused on what is going on and what actually is happening in the middle of the night. As it was only a few seconds of interval before they were just laughing earlier the suddenly being attacked by an unknown person, She couldn't react quickly earlier and while she looked at Artirian she would be a bit confused on how Artirian quickly reacted to a sudden attack, Elaine was quite impressed on Artirian from that point on.
He would then raise his Bokken sword into a defensive stance as he grip would tighten. As he looked at the hooded man,he would instantly jolted forward in a thrust position where the Bokken sword was aiming on the hooded man's chest.
Then they both clashed their swords, The attack was repelled by the hooded man and pushed Artirian back again giving both of them space. With that the inn would also get chaotic, some drunkards would also start a fight and pull their swords and start crossing swords with other drunkards. The inn master would get frightened and quickly run to the kitchen to hide. After he hid inside the kitchen he would slowly peek in front of his inn as it would become a disaster. The Inn that was slowly turning into a battleground of drunkards.
The tables would be sent flying across while the chairs would be destroyed, by the body who were pushed by back their opponent the floor would also get some cracks as some of the drunkards would try to swing their sword up and it would give some cracks on the wooden floor. the walls would get some cuts from the swords who were imbued with the gallant force. Some of the drunkards are gallant users that is why it also became much disastrous. Artirian and the hooded man would engage their swords; the sounds would be heard (cling clang cling clang) there would be seen sparks coming their swords.
The hooded man would give a scratch on Artirians left cheek while Artirian would cut through the hooded man armor making a deep cut on his left chest both of their injuries would bleed, in the background the noisy would became louder as there could be heard a soft tone of music from the chaotic battle inside the inn. The Hooded man would then look at Elaine which he found vulnerable to attack and he then quickly dashed forward and tried to strike Elaine but Artirian would quickly run towards Elaine to block the incoming strike.
Artirian would then catch the time to block the hooded man's strike on Elaine. She would be closing her eyes as she thought that it would be her end at the hands of a hooded man. but luckily she was saved by Artirian, but he would receive a deep cut on his left arm which will bleed. Then as Artirian would receive a deep cut from the dagger of the hooded man. Artirian would then decapitate the hooded man.
As he swung and countered the attack from the hooded man when he striked Eliane. And then as the main battle ended with came also the stop of the whole inn disaster. The drunkards and some pissed visitors who are fighting earlier would stop fighting and As they would look at Artirian and the hooded man.But they didn't expect that the hooded man would lose to a child. Then they would see the hooded man's head would roll on the wooden floor ground as the body would slowly fall on the ground and the headless would continue to spray blood on the air and on the ground.
Artirian would be gasping for air as the battle finished he was completely exhausted as he was not alarmed that there could be an opening attack from someone. And also when the hooded man attacked earlier he almost didn't counter it, hopefully he did and did a great job on countering the attack.
The Inn master would be furious not only with Artirian but also to the other drunkards and visitors both Elaine and Artirian would receive their order and then they would be kicked of the inn they are suppose to get a good night rest.but sadly a bad situation happened so they are no longer allowed to book for a room.
So Artirian grabs Elaine's hand and heads to one of the carriage they earlier rode on. Artirian would be a little bit tired and tired from the battle so once they reached the carriage they tried to open it. Luckily it was open so they put down the window so air could come in and then Artirian would fall asleep quickly as Elaine was talking about something with her father. Elaine would look at Artirian and she would give a soft smile. Elaine would then also fall asleep on the soft couch inside the carriage.
