Capítulo 16: Climbing Reverse Mountain, Grand Line the Greatest Sea of the One Piece.
Smoker " What are you doing here Dragon? " Dragon just smiled and he immediately used his powers and a Gust pushed Sam towards the Merry, Where Merry had set sailed. When he was about to fall in the ground. He was picked up by a Giant Eagle and brought to the ship. And Luffy caught him. Soon the Giant Eagle disappeared with a loud smoke bomb.
Sam on the other hand thought to himself ' Never thought that Dragon would help him escape. ' Sam slowly woke up from the floor and stood up. Suddenly Nami dashed to him and hugged him crying " Idiot, What were you thinking? Don't ever pull this kind of Stunt again? " Sanji's eyes are burning with jealousy but he didn't say anything because he too was concerned about him.
Zoro was mad but waited till Nami leaves his embrace. For some reason Luffy is not enthusiastic he has always been. He did not like the idea of sacrificing someone for his escape. Sam on the other hand just patted Nami's back. Sam talked " Hey everyone, we can talk things later. But we have to move to the Grand Line soon. "
Soon all of them got their expression relaxed and Nami got away from Sam and blushing hard. Sam pointed out a light at the middle of the storm " Nami, what is that light? " Nami who followed the pointed direction " Oh, If we are seeing that light then we are getting near the entrance of the Grand Line. "
Luffy got enthusiastic due to being close to the Grand line. Sanji took a Barrel and said this calls for a celebration. Usopp was slightly terrified on the thought of Going to Grand Line in Storm. But without any regard for him Sanji placed his one leg on top of the Barrel and said " To find All Blue. " Luffy who found it interesting also did the same and said " To become the Pirate King. " Zoro " To be the Greatest Swordsman. " Nami " To draw the Map of the World. " Usopp with stuttering said " To become the bravest warrior of the Sea. " Sam who saw this was going through various emotions and placed his own leg on the Barrel " To go on the Greatest Adventure and taste all tastiest food across the world. " Sanji smirked at the side. Luffy smiled shi shi shi.
After some time Nami said " According to the map, we must climb the mountain to reach Grand Line. " Others felt that it is absurd but Sam answered " Yes, to reach Grand Line we must climb the reverse mountain. As an information to you guys there is high magnetic field which pulls the water from the four Seas to itself. And the waters from the four Seas flows to Grand Line through Reverse Mountain. The water flows upstream due to the magnetic field. "
Though it is hard for Luffy to understand, others understood. Sam looked at Sanji " Sanji if the reverse mountain is the point where all the Blue Seas intersect and flows to the Grand Line. Then.. " before he completes surprisingly Nami shouted " All Blue is the point where the waters of the Grand Line flows back to the four Seas. " Sanji who heard it is excited now. He could now be sure of the Existence of All Blue. But Usopp had his doubt " Why are you guys sure that the Sea will part away at All Blue? "
Sam smiled at Usopp and said " It is because of the magnetic field. As you should know that a magnetic field is always in a closed loop. " Sam draws a box and showed it to Usopp. He explained how a magnetic field flows and all the basic stuff about magnets. And continued " Now Usopp, Consider Grand Line to be a giant Magnet. If the field converge at Reverse Mountain then the field diverge at ? " This time even Luffy got the point with the explanation not to mention Usopp.
Sanji is more excited, He now knew where at least the All Blue is. It must be the End of the Grand Line. Though it is a speculation it is more or less spot on. As the talk is over Sam took a Sterner face. Sam looked at Luffy and Sanji " Luffy, Sanji about the Marine Captain we faced in the Logue Town. What do you think ? " Luffy and Sanji looked Frustrated but Zoro on the other side was angered and yelled " Why the hell did you send me away? When I will be of certain help? "
Sam said in a neutral tone " Because you will be a burden and No matter how strong your sword and sword Technique is you will not be able to even scratch him. " Zoro was angered and when he was about to retort, Luffy stopped him. Sam continued " There are three types of Devil Fruits one is Paramecia type which are like Luffy's Gum Gum Fruit which gives user a weird ability. Logia type which gives user a elemental ability which in turn makes him element itself. Unless they posses certain weakness they cannot be touched no matter what. Third one is Zoan type which allows the user to transform to animal forms. "
" That Marine captain is Logia Devil Fruit Eater so no matter how much you try you guys can't even touch him. " This made the three persons of the crew to realise what happened at Logue town. As always Sanji got to the point " Then how did you manage to fight him that long? " Sam answered " It is because I used my chakra to attack him. And that is the only way to attack a Logia User. "
" As I explained earlier, every living being has an energy known as Ki. You can manifest Ki outside with your will which be known as Haki. As for me I have it in the form known as Chakra. And only if you master Haki you could touch a Logia user. If you don't have Haki no matter what you tried, you can't even touch him unless you find specific weakness of the particular fruit. And Grand Line is the place where most of them have devil fruit powers."
Everyone understood what Sam is saying and now they knew the importance of Haki. Ki which is manifested as will. Sam turned to Nami and Usopp " I have gave you my Chakra Cultivation to you guys earlier. And when I noticed it with my Byakugan. You guys are unable to gather Chakra but your Ki is being gathered in the Dantian. Which will in turn strengthen your Haki when manifested and increase your Vitality. "
Everyone's eyes brightened when they heard it. Luffy who is dumb in most situations got clever when it comes to topic like this. He was eager to try learn this Haki and Get stronger. And he was excited about the adventure. Zoro on the other hand was excited and wants to face strong opponents and this will allow him to fight stronger opponents. Nami and Usopp though afraid to fight but they don't want to be a burden to the team.
When Usopp is having his determination he suddenly looked outside and called out " Hey Guys the Storms Gone. " Sam suddenly felt Chill in his spine. He knew what happened, he dashed out to the fastest speed, Nami freaked out when she understood the situation " Oh! No we've entered the Calm Belt. " But the others don't know anything. Before anybody could react a huge wind pushed the Sails towards the Storm. It was Sam he is using his Wind Style Gale Palm on the Sails to move the Ship. while he is Standing on his Eagle.
When the Ship was moving at some speed. Sam landed on the ship and tied the ship's head with a Rope and gave the other end to the Eagle. It started flying towards the Storm as soon as possible. Usopp " Oii Sam, What are you doing? " Nami on the other hand " Sam, Please make it fast as possible before it is too late. " As she finished speaking. Giant Monsters at the size of Mountains started raised from the Sea.
All the Straw Hats were screaming. Sam was sweating bullets. Eagle who now experienced the Predatory Gaze started flapping it's wings vigorously. Nami cried and said " Calm Belt is the nest of Sea Kings. " But before the Sea King could even Notice. They have reached the Stormy Area. Then Nami explained about Calm Belts which separates Grand Line from the Four Seas.
Sam did not undid the summoning. The Eagle was flapping the wings and flying along with the ship in the rain. Soon they saw the entrance to the Grand Line. And the Eagle made them be on course without Clashing to the Red Line. All of the Straw Hats are wondering the majesty of the Red Line. Sam also who saw in the real life for first time was fascinated.
As they were right on track. Sam undid the summoning and the Eagle disappeared. Then the Merry started Climbing the Reverse Mountain with high Speed. When they reached the Top, Ship is high in the air due to the inertia. The water around got Crystallized at this height.
Sam felt this is the best scenery that he has ever seen. He could feel the adventure is going to be the best thing that has ever happened to him. Soon the ship started to move in the down Stream to Grand Line. When sailing all of them had their thinking about their dreams and aspirations. Sam saw Luffy's back who is sitting on Merry's Head. He can feel that something about Luffy makes him the natural leader that makes others follow him and depend on him. Sam started smiling at him.
Luffy was smiling and said with excitement " I can see, The Greatest Sea of the world Grand Line. And somewhere out there in this Sea is the One Piece. "
