Capítulo 153: I'm Going Nowhere

It's already a month since Amaka told Dele she can't bear children, and ever since then she hasn't heard from, nor seen him. She tried going over to his place to see him, but was told he wasn't there. She knew he was around but was trying to avoid her. After several attempts to reach him but to no avail, she decided to leave him be. If this is how he wants to their relationship to end, then so be it.

In order to take her mind of him, she threw herself into her work, she goes to work very early, and leaves really late, most times she is even the last to leave the office premises. By the end of the day, she would be too tired to have time to think about Dele.

On weekends, she wears herself out with so much exercise activities.

By 6am she was already on the treadmill sweating it out, when her phone rang, she wanted to ignore it when she saw it was Jane calling.

"Hello Jane" she answered breathless.
