It should be enough. Only days ago, he watched Alpha rip through the very currents he floated in with ease. He watched the ApeWolf slaughter Monsters the size of his cabin back home. Again, with ease.

But, Claude's plan wasn't to just grab an Octolepid and get out. It was far more than that. But again,

"It should be possible….." His words echoed under the water like a PitWolven Dominance Wave. Words empowered by the magic of a weapon that seemed supremely powerful.

He floated in the darkness. Faux darkness, if anything. A shadowy expanse illuminated by Overfang, The Dominance Spear. He'd learned that the stronger he was, the stronger the weapon was. It was tied to him. It wasn't a weapon in that sense. It was his soul, weaponized. His experience. His life. Dominance given form.

There wasn't a better time. He was stronger than ever…..

The oceans acknowledged that fact in a myriad of ways.

No matter where he swam, for at least a mile out in all directions, the water sank inward, following him. Attempting to submit into the deeps of itself. It threatened to rupture plantlife and stir hurricanes as cold and hot waters collided.

Sea Creatures and Beasts facing the spears edge sank. Writhing and going limp at the overpowering expression.

He floated in the silence. A small collective of dominated life hung suspended below him. He could almost feel the empowering waves. Not exactly spilling from the weapon, but guiding what was within himself.

"It should be possible…" He repeated.

He'd been in the water for hours. Testing his limits, taking down Monsters, diving inside their blubbery flesh and scales to cover his scent.

With Full Embrace active and the heights of his Shifting Potential reached, plus the traits of the Sea Creatures borrowed. He'd become a sea monster in his own right.

Fight with hairless black skin. Raised heels and webbed feet. Fins grew from his hulking calves and forearms, slicing through the waves with every movement. Two dorsal fins bulged from his back. It seemed Fully transforming altered how he borrowed traits— made it more intense. More than just Shark Skinned Lupine…

He would've reached for more. But he wasn't alone. And he didn't want the Silver Cursed to know the full extent of his abilities.

Call it paranoia. The thought came again as he watched the Crocs go on another killing spree.

Unlike the terrestrial Shifters of the Silver Cursed kind, WereCroc's had two partial shifts before their Full Moon Shift. One on land and one in the water.

Naturally, their aquatic shift was exponentially more aggressive. Almost its own brand of Full Transformation.

Scales covered the outer edges of their limbs. Secondary eyelids grew, becoming shields against the debris of the deep sea. Scaled almost dragonoid fins lined their arms and legs. They even grew tails. Massive thick appendages that would've slowed them on land.

And lastly, their jaws.

CRUNCH!

He cringed as Helena— the once slow old woman of the Pack, whistled through the waves and bit off a Trench Dolphin's head in one twisting bite.

Their heads changed the most. They went flattter and smooth. Their jaws extended to an almost comical degree lined by jagged teeth and a hard almost shell like mouth interior. Purely crafted by cursory magic for crushing and tearing.

[+300 EXP]

All the Shifters slithered up to his level. Octolepids, Trench Dolphins and Icthyosaur bodies held in hand and jaw.

"We're ready to return to the surface."

Claude recalled his spear in a burst of starry multicolored brilliance and ocean life resumed. The reforming of the oceans surface caused a warp spasm then threw them out of the Ocean and flipping through the air.

The Crocs landed as humans once more. Claude didn't call back the shift.

The Crocs tossed the meat into the pile.

Dozens— no, multiple dozens of Sea Creatures stood up on a horrifying wooden effigy trailing from the Oceans.

Two purposes.

(Revenge Boost Activated)

Fenrir would give him power for the kills.

And.

"Ahhh I'm full…" Don backed away from the giant kebab and wiped his face as he pushed past the other snarling Shifters who'd been eating all day.

"Claude, why? Why are you making us eat this much? Isn't it unnecessary? Especially for what you're planning?"

Claude shook his head, "Do you know how much a Grey Wolf can eat in one sitting?"

Don scratched his ocean water bathed curls, "No…"

"Twenty two and a half pounds."

Don nodded.

"Lion."

He shook his head.

"One hundred pounds."

Don nodded again. Simply absorbing the information.

"Silver Cursed are significantly larger than their animal counterparts and show aspects of Primal origin. Meaning they can and need even more. But that isn't the point. I'm having you all eat this much to calm your hunting instincts when the moon rises and increase your stamina. I can't balance every mind…. But this makes it easier. We'll need a functioning team out there on the water or else a lot of you die. Maybe all of us."

Don's eyes twinkled— reminding Claude he was ten. "Cool…"

A chunk of red sailed through the air. The smell hit him before the physical object hit his hand.

It was a heart.

Claude wolfed it down in one bite. The blood lubricated his throat and mixed with the salt from the ocean giving it a rich and savory taste that made his scalp tingle.

"Thank you."

Tom nodded, "I feel you're forgetting yourself. I imagine maintaining a complete transformation for two days is rather difficult."

"I've done it for a week before, I'm fine. You guys are the focus." Slowly the quality of his skin shifted from rubbery and smooth to hard and leathery. Pores opened. Fur sprouted. He was simply Lupine again.

Tom blinked, "Right….. well." He faced the ocean. "We're running straight across, huh?"

Claude nodded, "I've already started growing our trail underwater. It's dangerous but I spoke to Don, we don't have time to waste. Last thing we want is to be fighting Vampires in the Tower. We need to get the hell out of here."

"Where even is here?" Tom questioned, "We're in the middle of nowhere." He referred to the Dark purple sky and black ocean beyond. Not even a ship. Sky or Sea. Even the Tangents were few and far between, hovering above the waves like fallen stars…

"We're near The Republic of Tierra Primazon."

Tom side eyed him.

Claude pointed at the creatures the Pack feasted on.

"There's a ton of Aquatic Primals— even at safer Sea Level. That only happens there. The waters also warm. Almost hot. And the air is humid….. I don't know if that means anything considering we're on an ocean."

"But based on that, we either end up on The Sunlands or there….. we don't know if we're equal distance between the two or not. We're still lost."

Claude clenched his jaw. Tom was ri—

"No we're not." Helena spoke from behind him.

Claude turned to face the older woman naked and covered in blood.

She wiped her mouth and tied her thick curly black and grey hair up with stripped Mosasaur skin. As she walked over, the glisten of blood accentuated her swimmers build like a skin tight suit. She didn't look so old anymore….

"The water's doing you justice, Helena!" Tom grinned like an idiot.

She bowed, "As the Moon will do us all."

"What do you mean we're not lost?" Claude pulled them back to the point.

Helena pointed to the sky.

"What?" Tom and Claude commented.

Helena pointed the stars out again, "Gacrux…Mimosa…Acrux…Hip and Crux at the center."

The stars were brighter than the others. Claude knew that much.

"Now imagine a line connecting them and forming a shape." Helena further explained.

"Yea I'm still lost." Tom admitted.

"It's the Southern Cross Constellation. We know where South is— and we're near my home— actually we're closer to my home than the Sunlands. I'm starting to remember these Waters."

Claude watched her tap her chin in thought, "I knew you'd be familiar in water. But…."

"I was a Seaman before I was changed. The job died out since the Tangents were causing the Aquatic Primals to power creep beyond human management. But yea…. It was fun while it lasted. The oceans were so beautiful back then…."

"[I know you want to ask back when but then you're asking a woman her age but she's also under your command so she'll tell you but she won't enjoy it. I'm saying don't do it.]"

"Got it."

Helena and Tom faced him awaiting his word.

"Alright Helena, which way to the land of Primals?"
