The seemingly silly words during a couple's bickering actually had a serious meaning behind them. They just tried their best to converge all their resentment into a small squabble. 

They are not yet ready to face the real fight. Hence they chose to release their grievances in this form.

Gao Renshu did not know what to say but had so many questions having a marathon in his head. Instead of asking all those questions, he simply worded them into one, "Why don't you go and speak to her?"
