Capítulo 29: Capable Manager

As usual, once again Manager He regained her composure first and came forward to speak on Changying's behalf.

She cleared her throat, "Mr. Bingwen, I apologise on Changying's behalf. She was not thinking straight when she spoke her words earlier. She doesn't mean to fire her. She is just muddle headed from the frustration of taking many retakes earlier and hence was tired. Please don't take her words seriously."

Bingwen raised both his eyebrows, "Manager He, you sure are one capable manager huh? What do you mean by she doesn't mean to fire her? Even if she meant to do that, what right did she have to do so? Do you mean that you both are now my employers and can handle my subordinates huh? I'm really sorry for being rude to both of you. Please don't fire me from my job too." The sarcasm in his words were dripping so clearly that Manager He felt very embarrassed by the situation.

Before she could speak, Bingwen added, "Maybe I should bow to you too."

Before he could do something more unreasonable, Manager He stopped him, "Bingwen. Please stop humiliating us. If you want I will bow to you. Everything is just a misunderstanding which was blown up into this situation. Changying is just too tired to think clearly about what to speak and what not to do. Please consider that our cooperation in work needs to be continued and forgive her."

She immediately gave a look at Changying while scolding her in her heart for about a hundred times.

Receiving the baton from her manager, Changying proceeded, "Bingwen, I am really sorry for the entire situation. I do not know that she was your person. If I knew that, I would never dare talk to her even if I was given a hundred more guts. I was just warning her. How could I really fire someone who is not affiliated with me. Please forgive this once."

Though she is stupid, she still know whom she can offend and whom she could not. Hence even if she is not reconciled with the result, she needs to extinguish Sun Bingwen's anger first. Otherwise, her career will come to an abrupt end with a single word from him.

So she could do nothing but swallow all her anger and humiliation and apologize in front of everyone for the sake of her future. About everything else she could think in the future.

But she never considered that more than her, Manager He suffered humiliation for something that she never did and is so angry at her. It would be difficult to try something on Shao Rong under her watchful eyes.

Nevertheless, even after her apology, Sun Bingwen is angry at her because she was humiliated when she was his responsibility during her stay here.

Hence he retorted, "What could your apology do? Do you know how scared she was? Do you know that she is my" 'Sister'.

Before he could complete his sentence, he wanted to say that Shao Rong was his sister, a soft voice interrupter from beside him.

"Bro Wen, please don't fight with anyone for the sake of a mere assistant like me."

Sun Bingwen understood that she doesn't want him to say that she was his sister even if they actually hid her real identity, whatever it actually was, and immediately changed his tone, "Rong Rong, they should know that you are my, Sun Bingwen's, assistant before they want to bully you. Don't be so soft hearted like this. It doesn't suit my people." His voice was so soft that almost all the people hearing those words melted immediately.

Everyone thought that such a soft hearted girl was being bullied by Changying but the girl in the picture stopped Sun Bingwen from avenging her. 'She is really a good girl.'

"But Bro Wen, I don't want to implicate you. Please leave this matter alone." Shao Rong spoke again telling him to stop.

"Okay, since you said so." Bingwen then turned towards Changying and Manager He, "Since Rong Rong told me to stop, I'll leave this matter alone. Remember both of you, I don't want this situation to be repeated ever again."

He warned them and before they could reply, he dragged the red-eyed Shao Rong along with him towards his car.

As soon as the both of them entered the car, the crying Shao Rong wiped away all the residue of liquid around her eyes and sighed, "Ahh, such a boring fight." The softness with which she spoke in front of everyone is nowhere to be seen.

"Is that even considered a fight?" She snorted at the topic with disgust apparent regarding it.

Bingwen was dumbfounded by her words though, because as far as he knew she was the center of the fight and she is saying that the fight was actually boring. He never heard of anyone defining a fight as 'boring' before.
