Capítulo 30: War at Marineford I
Zeus and Luffy's group finally reached Marineford, Zeus looked at the huge ice wave and said "Well, it's not an original but i'll give it a 8/10" Luffy said "How are we supposed to get in?" Jinbe looked at the huge wave made of ice and said "I can probably do it" Luffy said "Do it Jinbe!" Zeus chuckled and grabbed the railing with two hands, as Jinbe used his fishman karate to bring up a huge wave of water, and threw the Marine ship flying into Marineford.
The ship landed on the bay that was frozen over and tons of prisoners fell out of the ship. Zeus jumped onto the ice and complained "Jinbe, couldn't you make a softer landing?" Jinbe chuckled and said "Unless you wanted to drown" Zeus froze and turned his head "Ah, you know what on second thought, I like smashing into things!" The entire battlefield stopped, and everyone turned to look at the group, Luffy ran up to Whitebeard, and Zeus spoke up "Ahem* We took a wrong turn escaping from Impel Down, can anybody be so kind as to give us directions?" almost everyone facepalmed, Smoker sighed and said "This kid hasn't changed at all." Garp laughed and Sengoku got a tick mark on his forehead, one of the marines said "Yeah, you were supposed to go left instead of right when you left Impel Down." Zeus blinked at the marine and said "Well thank you, I kinda feel bad now" Luffy reached Whitebeard and said "Oi old man, are you Whitebeard?" Whitebeard looked at Luffy and said "Yeah? What if I am?" Luffy said "First of all, I'm the one who is going to be the King of the Pirates." Whitebeard felt his eye twitch and Luffy continued "Second of all, my brother is Ace and i'm here to save him!" Luffy pointed at Zeus, who was apologizing to the marine who gave him directions, and Luffy said "And that's my brother too, he thinks that this whole war is a trap to kill you, I also heard on a marine ship on our way here that they were going to execute Ace immediately." Whitebeard raised a brow and took a glance at Zeus, and said "He thinks that and that's what you heard huh?" Luffy nodded and said "Anyway I gott go save Ace see ya!" White beard stopped him and said "What do you think a kid like you can do on this battlefield? You'll die." Luffy snapped "I'll save Ace! Even if I die!" and started running towards the execution platform. Whitebeard watched him go and smiled, he pointed forward with his Bisento and said "My sons! Attack!" Whitebeard's crew and Allies all shouted and started running after Luffy.
Zeus saw Luffy running and said "Well, It's time for us to start moving too! Nightmare division go wild!" All the prisoners started charging the marines, Galdino and Bentham had already snuck off into the marine building, Zeus smiled and said "Finally that's over it's hard pretending to be a ruthless criminal" Jinbe and Crocodile chuckled and Ivankov said "You're quite the actor, ever consider becoming an Okama?" Zeus shivered and said "You know, I haven't." before running off after Luffy. Ivankov laughed and looked at Crocodile and said "Croco-chan how have you been? Zeus isn't here to stop me from seeing you anymore" Crocodile shivered and ran away too, leaving Jinbe there, Jinbe said "I should get going." and ran towards Luffy, Ivankov laughed and joined in the fight with the rest of the Okamas following after him.
Luffy ran into Hina and she said "Even if you are Zeus' brother, Hina will stop you!" Luffy said "You're the girl from Alabasta!" Hina threw her arms out and made a cage before closing her arms, causing the cage to close, Luffy jumped over her and continued, Zeus showed up and patted Hina on the shoulder and said "Don't worry Hina, I'm sure Smokey won't be upset with you." Hina blushed and swung her arm at him, Zeus chuckled and disappeared saying "You owe me for being matchmaker!" Hina grit her teeth and cursed the bastard.
Zeus followed after Luffy on foot, Luffy was stopped in front of Kizaru and Zeus threw a spear at Kizaru and said "GO LUFFY!" Luffy nodded and ran past Kizaru, who was glaring at Zeus. Kizaru said "Rayleigh's not here to save you this time." Zeus chuckled and said "I'm just a distraction, nice new glasses by the way" Zeus flashed past him, Kizaru tried to flash after him only to be stopped by Whitebeard's allies. Zeus kept following Luffy as he made his way to the execution platform, Alarge group of marine zombies stopped Luffy, Zeus threw a pink thunder spear at Moria, he ran up to Luffy and grabbed him and said "Lu, I'm gonna speed this up, you ready?" Luffy nodded and Zeus made a bow out of blue lightning this time and shot Luffy past Moria, flying towards the execution platform, flying over Mihawk.
Luffy landed in front of Kuma and Ivankov, and said "Ivan-chan! Do you know him?" Ivankov nodded and talked about how Kuma was a revolutionary and how they were friends and now that Kuma isn't the same. Zeus finally caught up to Luffy and saw Doflamingo appear next to Kuma and saying "Kuma finished his Human weapon surgery and became a complete Pacifista, they call him PX-0 now." Ivankov was incensed and yelled "Those bastards why would they do that?!" Doflamingo said "He volunteered himself." Ivankov was shocked and tried to get through to Kuma, but Kuma just disappeared and reappeared in front of the group of Okamas and blew a bunch of them away, Ivankov was furious and started fighting Kuma. Zeus watched and said "Wow, Vegapunk's cybernetics sure are something." Luffy nodded and Doflamingo said "Ah, the 'Red Devil' word around town is that you freed every single prisoner in Impel Down and started a rebellion?" Zeus signaled Luffy to go, and Luffy nodded and started running again before Zeus bowed and said "Thank you, but if you praise me anymore i'll blush." Zeus looked up and grinned, Doflamingo laughed and said "You really are something" Zeus chuckled and summoned his red gauntlets and red as he said "Yeah, so are you Doflamingo, so you gonna stop me? Or are we going to meet in the New World?" Doflamingo laughed and said "Fufufufufu.. You think you're going to leave here alive?" Zeus scratched his chin and said "It's actually a fact that I am going to leave here alive not a possibility." Doflamingo was intrigued and said "And how would you know that?" Zeus said "I don't know, but I'm sure there are things you know for a fact that you can't explain either." Doflamingo was trying to understand the meaning behind Zeus' words when a huge blast came across the battlefield heading straight for Zeus.
Zeus frowned and flashed away avoiding the blast and was now standing right next to Doflamingo, Zeus said "That was rude, we were have a nice chat." Doflamingo silently agreed and they both looked towards the direction the blast came from. They saw Sentomaru, with a new robotic arm standing in front of 20 Pacifistas, Zeus facepalmed and said "This fucking guy. You'd think if you get your arm chopped off by somebody you wouldn't actively anger them again." Doflamingo laughed, Sentomaru said "Red Devil!! I'm here to take your life!" Zeus turned to Doflamingo and said "Nice to meet you, maybe we can clash on Dressrosa? Please try your hardest to get stronger, I don't like easy fights." he chuckled and started flashing towards Sentomaru, leaving Doflamingo there a bit at a loss for words, he said "Fucking kid." and started to fight marines angrily.
Zeus showed up in front of Sentomaru and the 20 Pacifistas and said "Ora Ora, the one-armed woman is back!" Sentomaru snapped and commanded the Pacifistas to fire at Zeus, Zeus just dodged and took out one Pacifista after another with his thunder spear. Zeus finished taking out all the Pacifistas and said "Man, Kuma was waaay stronger than these rustbuckets." he kicked one of them and started walking to Sentomaru, Zeus shook his head and said "Listen, I'm not going to kill you this time, but I will take your arm again" Zeus cut the robotic arm off Sentomaru with his thunder spear and chuckled "Now you really look like a one-armed bandit." Sentomaru glared at Zeus with hatred and Zeus sighed "Stop looking at me like that, I'm married, and even if I wasn't im not into one-armed fat chicks." Zeus flashed away following after Luffy again. Sentomaru screeched "I AM A MAN!!!" Zeus chuckled on his way, before remembering something and turning around, he threw a blue, dull thunder spear at Whitebeard and said "Heads up old man!"
Whitebeard saw the spear coming towards him and frowned, Squard who was sneaking up on Whitebeard didn't notice and lunged at Whitebeard with his sword, the thunder spear flew and smashed into Squard electrocuting him, as Whitebeard turned around and realized the situation. Zeus let loose a breath of relief and continued following after Luffy.
Whitebeard finds out what happened with Squard and stood up and swung his fist shattering the Ice behind the pirates and saying "If you want to escape you may choose to do so, I will not force anyone who wants to leave to stay." Whitebeard smashed the bottom of his Bisento into the ground and said "Those that wish to follow me be prepared to die!" And rushed foward towards the execution platform himself and slammed his fish down, causing the entire Marineford to shake and tilt. Sengoku screamed through a speaker snail "Whitebeard is coming! Focus your attacks on him!" as Sengoku is saying this however, a huge stream of water flew up into the sky and landed in front of the three admirals and the execution platform.
The water resided and revealed Luffy holding on to a giant wooden pole, Luffy swung the pole at the admirals, Aokiji turned it to ice and threw it back at Luffy. Luffy jumped up and said.
"Gum-Gum Stamp Gattling!"
Before kicking the wooden ice pole and shattering it, sending pieces flying towards the Admirals creating a huge dust cloud, and shooting past them, towards the execution platform. Kizaru said "Oh wow, he fooled us." before he flashed in front of Luffy and kicked him, sending Luffy flying into a building, Marines started surrounding Luffy, Luffy sat up and looked to the execution platform.
On the platform, Sengoku spoke "It's time to start the execution!" The two executioners, lifted their blades up into the air, as Luffy shouted "STOOOP!!" all the marines surrounding him fainted and Luffy started running to the platform again, Sengoku shouted "Execute him now!" Luffy was trying to get there as fast as he possibly could. The two executioners swung their blades down and time stopped. Everybody was looking in shock, as Crocodile threw sand blades at the executioners and saved Ace. Luffy continued running and Zeus frowned, Galdino should've been there by now.
Sengoku said "Crocodile! You should've been on our side!" Crocodile sneered and said "I can kill that damn old man later." Zeus laughed, and Doflamingo cut Crocodiles head off before saying "Oi, Croc, You said you wouldn't join me but you're helping the old man now?" Crocodile's head reformed and he sneered "Nah, just owe a certain electric bastard a favor." Doflamingo got a tick mark on his forehead and the two clashed. Zeus laughed, and Luffy kept running towards the platform.
All of a sudden, an ice sword shot into Luffy's arm sending him falling to the ground, Aokiji picked up the ice sword and said "I owed your Grandfather a favor, but now I have no choice because you chose to risk your life." Aokiji raised his sword and thrust it down to Luffy, Zeus flashed and kicked Aokiji away, with his leg wrapped in pink lighting, Zeus said "Ora Ora, Marco you were a tad bit slow there." Marco landed next to Zeus and said "Ah, you ruined my entrance." Zeus chuckled and said "Well now, if you can take care of Kizaru, maybe you'll redeem yourself shishishi!" Zeus shook his head and said "My bounty's going waaaay up after this." Marco laughed and ruffled his hair and said "Get used to it kid." before he flew away, Zeus put his mask over his face and said "Luffy, get to the platform already you've been running for hours now. I'll clear the way, follow me!" Zeus led the way and started clearing out the marines that were stopping them, and Luffy followed. Luffy jumped on Zeus' shoulders and shot forward, continuing to make his way towards the platform, as Zeus was finishing off the marines, he turned his head and saw Luffy get cut by Momonga, and disappeared.
Momonga said "Straw hat Luffy, I won't let you reach Ace, on my rank as a vice admiral!" Luffy got up and took a fighting stance, Momonga turned around and shot down to the ground face first, Zeus was crouching on his back with his horns out and his eyes red, as he grabbed the back of Momonga's head with his gauntlet and said "On your rank as a vice-admiral huh? That doesn't mean much around here, if you haven't noticed." Zeus kicked Momonga out of the way and started running towards the platform with Luffy, he said "Fuck it, I'm coming too, hop on my back Lu!" before Luffy could do it, a huge BOOM was heard, everybody turned to look, and saw Oars Jr. dragging a huge boat past the walls on to Marineford, letting a ton of pirates through the blocade and into the battle.
On the boat Whitebeard stood at the front, and hopped down before cocking his Bosento back and slashing it with his devil fruit power, the air literally cracked and Whitebeard sent almost all the marines flying. Sengoku watched and said "Garp, I don't think we can get out of this one unscathed." before rolling his sleeves up, he took a look at Garp and noticed he was staring at Luffy, Sengoku said "Remember you're one of us, Garp." Garp turned his head and didn't answer, and Sengoku sighed.
Zeus was running towards the platform, with Luffy on his back, and dodging attacks, he shaved through a group of marines and jumped out of the way of one of Kizaru's blasts. Zeus said "MARCO!" Marco came down and kicked at Kizaru, getting his attention, Zeus chuckled as he kept running "That's one way to draw aggro shishishi" Luffy was recovering on Zeus back, as they slowly but surely made their way.
Whitebeard prepared to slash again but this time Akainu clashed with him, causing a shock wave to spread out around the entire battlefield. Zeus smirked and continued running, Luffy said "Put me down." Zeus let him down and they started running together, they ran into Koby standing in front of them, Koby said "Luffy! If I don't stop you here, then I'll never change!" Luffy smiled and punched him right in the face, knocking him out and sending him flying, Zeus said "I never really understood, did he think he can stop us?" Luffy shrugged and kept running, Zeus sighed and followed him.
Luffy was inching closer to the platform as Marine after Marine came out to stop him, Whitebeards allies stopped them and said "Go Strawhat!" Luffy kept running un-impeded and Zeus smirked, Hawk-eye stepped in and slashed at Luffy and Zeus, but Mr.1 stepped in front and blocked it for them, and said "Crocodile said the enemy is the marines, so go!" Luffy thanked him and continued, Hawk-eye made quick work of Mr.1 and chased after the duo, Crocodile stepped in and blocked Hawk-eye. Hawk-eye said "Crocodile?!" Crocodile said "I'm not really in the best of moods right now, that flamingo bastard hurts, so i'd watch myself Hawk-eye." Zeus and Luffy kept going until they were right in front of the platform.
Ivankov landed next to them and said "Don't worry Luffy-san! We'll get you up there! Inazuma!" a man with half orange hair and half White hair, jumped out of Ivankovs hair and cut the ground with his scissor hands and ran past Luffy and Zeus making a bridge that led straight towards the execution platform. Ivankov said "Go! Rescue Ace!" Luffy nodded and started running up the ramp, while Zeus followed him blocking all the bullets and cannonballs being shot at them.
Luffy and Zeus were almost there, when Garp landed on the ramp, the duo stopped and Luffy said "Gramps get out of the way!" Garp said "I'm not going to move, because I'm a Vice-Admiral of the Navy! I've been fighting pirates since before you were born! If you want to pass through here, you'll have to kill me first! Straw hat Luffy, Red Devil Zeus! This is the path you've chosen to live!!"

Monkey_Godking Hey guys! Here it is, the big war! Disclaimer: I am NOT Oda, I know right?! I thought I was too! But seriously, I tried my best to make it epic, and a little comedic, but I can't replicate the feeling of watching it on your own. I just want to say that I will try my best and please don't compare it to the actual one. It will never be as good as that. Oda is truly a genius, at least i'm more than ten times as handsome as him so thats a win.
ALSO regarding the "Personality Change" that everyone's been talking about.. well there was none! WOW! UNBELIEVABLE! anyway I don't think Nice and comedic Zeus would've rallied the LITERALLY bloodthirsty and murderous criminals in Impel Down if he didn't act like a bloodthirsty criminal himself, and obviously if your 'brother' was supposed to die and you're trying to change it, you would be a little on edge too! same thing with Amazon Lily, he was kinda on edge because he didn't change what happened to Ace, but he never killed anybody so, what im trying to say is his personality didn't really change he's just irritable.
Next time: Marineford 2 duh... but actually a sort of "big" change, and i'm really stretching big here. anyways you'll find out. Again if you want epic watch the war arc again, i'll try but im not Oda.
