Capítulo 10: Whiskey Peak and Little Garden
Zeus was sitting in the galley listening to Vivi's ramblings, knowing what she's doing already. He sighed "Vivi just tell me why you're working for Baroque works, when you should be in the Palace instead." Vivi just shook her head and didn't explain, making Zeus sigh. "Well I just hope you know what you're doing" he got up and walked towards the deck and sat down on a chair thinking about his situation right now 'I've been 'tailing' Luffy for some time now, I should probably call Smoker tell him were on route to Alabasta' Zeus pulled out his Den Den Mushi and hopped on top of the mast.
"Smoker here." Zeus replied "Hey Smokey got a pretty big situation here." Smoker exhaled "Explain" Zeus lit up and cigarette "Straw Hats going to Alabasta to stop an ongoing rebellion caused by Crocodile apparently, I say we don't intervene seeing as we have no evidence expect word of mouth and those 5 bastards love this guy." Smoker grunted "Noted when you getting here." Zeus scratched his head "Uhh a week? I don't know but i'll mean you in Nanohara when we get there." Smoker nodded "Got it, anything else?" Zeus chuckled "Yea have you called Hina today? How's your relationship going? What does Tashigi think?" Smoker responded by hanging up leaving Zeus laughing to himself on the mast.
A few hours and 4 seasons later
"Finally at Whiskey Peak" Nami said as she stretched her back making Sanji gulp. Zeus watched the pair amused. "Oi Orange can you get Mosshead for me?" Nami nodded and Zeus signaled Sanji to come over quickly "Alright Sanji this is your chance to make a good impression on the witch. When we dock there's gonna be a lot of pretty ladies, what you gotta do is control yourself to only think about the Orange." Sanji nodded and said "How beautiful are they?" Zeus thought a bit "Well they're all bounty hunters so they cant all be extremely beautiful i'd say maybe 6-6.5 average maybe you get a lucky 8 in there?" Sanji's nose bled just a little bit while he nodded, Zeus chuckled, held out his fist and said "I know you can do it, harden your will soldier!" Sanji grinned and returned the fist bump just as Zoro showed up with Nami. Zoro watched Zeus and Sanji fist bump and was confused, before grabbed him and zapped to the crow's nest.
"Yo Zoro, we got problems." Zeus said, he wanted to make sure that Zoro was aware of what's going on. Zoro nodded and became serious "Yea there's something familiar about the names of the 2 on our boat" Zeus nodded and said "Exactly I also don't trust that this is some normal village, keep in mind, that you and maybe Nami are the only one's serious enough, plus i already gave the love cook a special job." Zoro looked at Zeus "Special job?" Zeus chuckled and said "Yea trying to control himself in front of dozens of other women for Nami" Zoro looked confused before Zeus pointed to land and they heard "Welcome Pirates!"
Standing on the edge of the island was hundreds of people, they were waving and cheering. The Merry stopped and Zeus brought Zoro back down, he gave Nami and Zoro a look and a nod and whispered "I'm not helping you guys fight unless it's an unforeseen situation, which is impossible to take it that i'm not here." Zeus turned and winked at Sanji, who nodded and jumped off the boat and walked over to a tall man who had huge curls in his hair. Zeus stopped in front of him and said "Long time no see uncle Igaram!" Igaram was taken back "Kurama?!" Zeus nodded and then whispered "Don't worry uncle Igaram I already know whats going on just continue what your doing so you get found out and put you and Vivi in danger." Zeus patted Igaram on the shoulder and walked towards a bar.
The night ensued as a huge party, and everybody was having a good time drinking, dancing, flirting until they all feel asleep. Zoro opened just eyes when everybody left and sat up, "I knew there was something wrong here." Zoro got up and head a voice "Yea you think? Who invites pirates with such enthusiasm? A bunch of stupid bounty hunters" Zeus shook his head before smirking and winking at Zoro, he raised his voice a bit "But even if they're stupid, they must have a LOT of treasure." Nami shot up with Beri signs in her eyes "Treasure?" Zeus laughed and Zoro was slightly annoyed. "You were awake too?" Zeus said "Actually Sanji might be awake too. Sanji! Nami's ready to accept you because you didn't look at any other girls at Whiskey Peak!" Sanji shot up too and was already on his knee holding Nami's hand "Nami-swan! I knew you would see my undevoted love for you!" Nami sighed, while Zoro smirked and Zeus laughed "Alright people chop chop! There's bounty hunters to crush!" Zeus said while clapping his hands "Zoro, Sanji. The one who gets the most bounty hunters wins and get a prize i'm sure you'll like. Orange-" Nami cut him off "IT'S NAMI!" Zeus sighed "Fine." he waved his hands "Alright Nemo you're on treasure robbing duty." Nami fumed that he still hadn't gotten her name right, was about to say something but Zeus turned to Zoro and Sanji "Also go easy on Vivi and the mayor, theyre still going to attack you." With that said he zapped and disappeared.
Zeus sat on one of the buildings and watched as Zoro and Sanji were fighting Baroque Works agents, and how Luffy was confused why they were fighting the people that gave them food and decided to fight Zoro and Sanji instead, funny thing to mention is that 2 more Baroque Works agents got caught in the trio's fight and were beaten immediately. Nami punched each of them in the head and told Luffy what's really going on, Luffy apologized, and the crew agreed to take Vivi to Alabasta, only after finding out that Baroque Works had their pictures and Igaram offered to be their distraction by dressing up in Vivi's clothes.. Needless to say that was something Zeus definitely did not have to see in real life. He hopped down and walked with the group to the ship carrying Ussop by his nose, and threw him on the deck. and sat down in a chair waiting for their unexpected guest.
"Make sure you don't hit the rocks while we leave." A feminine voice said, as Zeus smiled and zapped onto the railing sitting next to her. Nami said "Yeah i'll make sure" before pausing and looking to who said that. Everyone turned around and looked behind them finding a woman in a purple skirt with purple cowboy boots, a purple corset and a purple cowboy hat sitting on the railing. "Miss AllSunday!" Vivi cried, Nami looked at Vivi and asked "Who's that?" Vivi gulped and said "She works with the boss as his partner" Everyone gasped and Nami said "She's Crocodile's partner?" as the rest of the crew minus Zeus and Luffy drew their weapons. Miss AllSunday lifted her head and smiled causing Zeus to stare blankly "I would appreciate that you don't point those things at me" as the crew were quickly disarmed Zeus chuckled, and everyone only now noticed that he was actually sitting right next to her, he turned to look at her and said "You know, I really don't know how you did that. Don't you usually have to cross your arms?" Miss AllSunday was alarmed but kept her passive face and turned to him and said "And shouldn't you be with the 'White Chaser'?" Zeus looked into her dark and light blue eyes for a moment before coughing and looking away while chuckling "I'm on vacation, plus..." he looked at her again "What if I said I was here for you, Robin?" Robin was actually sweating a bit, panicking looking around for a way to escape , Zeus sighed and waved his hand looking down in disappointment "Not like that. Just do what you came here to do." He hopped off the railing and turned to walk into the kitchen but stopped just before entering and said "We're more alike than you'd think, Nico Robin." and closed the door. Robin and the rest blinked in confusion before she took a deep breath calming her emotions and explained to Vivi that Igaram was dead and that they were going to Little Garden where they would probably die and gave them a eternal log pose to Alabasta, which Luffy crushed and declared that he was the one who chooses where his crew goes. Robin smiled and hopped off the ship onto her turtle and returned to Alabasta, lost in thought about what Zeus said as she mumbled "How could we be alike when you're a marine and i'm a fugitive?"she shook her head and disappeared.
The rest of the crew was silent thinking about Zeus before Luffy decided that they should go to Little Garden and said that Zeus will get over it so there was no need to worry, the rest of the group nodded but Vivi was a little concerned and Nami was suspicious.
Meanwhile Zeus was drinking in the kitchen alone, when he heard the door open. He turned and saw Nami walking towards him and sitting down before he spoke "Shouldn't you be steering the ship? I wouldn't really trust anybody else." Nami looked at him before grabbing a drink and saying "Vivi's steering, apparently she was the navigator for her duo. She was worried about you, you kinda just deflated before." she was watching his body language, Zeus sighed "I'm fine just thinking about some stuff that's all." he said refilling his mug and taking out a cigarette, Nami stopped him and said "It's our business if you're depressed on our ship." Zeus chuckled and said "Who said I was depressed? Can I ask you a question?" Nami nodded and Zeus continued "Were you happy being forced to make maps for Arlong?" Nami shook her head before saying "No, I hated him and everything he made me do but I didn't have a-" Nami looked at Zeus in shock as her mind put the pieces together, she finished "choice..." Zeus exhaled from his cigarette and laughed "You see, me and that girl, Nico Robin aren't so different, you wanted to know why i wear a mask right?"Nami hesitated but still nodded in the end, Zeus took a drag from his cigarette and ran his fingers oven his mask "Well let's just say if I took the mask off and used my real name I would've been dead before the age of 10." Nami gasped and covered her mouth as Zeus got up and walked towards the door while whispering to himself "And you would probably still be making maps in that room." Nami didn't hear that last part, but someone else did. Zeus stopped before the door and slapped his cheeks before taking a deep breath and walking out. Nami watched him go with a sad expression before sighing and drinking the rest of her drink and going back to steering.
Zeus walked out of the kitchen to find Zoro leaning against the wall by the door. Zoro looked at Zeus and Zeus looked back before asking "Yes?" Zoro said "I won the competition what's the prize?" Zeus blinked before laughing and yelled "Shishishishi SANJI COME HERE!" Zoro was confused as Sanji showed up, Zeus gave an evil smile "You lost the competition meaning you receive punishment while Zoro get's the prize here put this on" Zeus handed Sanji a blindfold and walked towards the back of the boat for an open space, the duo looked at each other and followed him. Zeus was standing on the deck with a wooden stick in his hand as he handed it to Zoro and chuckled "Alright Sanji out on the blindfold" Sanji was confused before he nodded and put on the blindfold Zeus looked at Zoro and said "Zoro your prize is that you get to beat Sanji with that stick while he's blindfolded." Zoro blinked and grinned while Sanji groaned and complained "He get's to beat me with a stick already why do I have to be blindfolded?" Zeus laughed and said "Shishishishi because you're gonna be trying to dodge his strikes, focus your attention on trying to feel his movements and intentions" Zeus turned to Zoro and said seriously "I want you to count how many times you hit him and how many times he dodges" he walked away before saying "Oh right and don't kill him" Zoro grinned and smacked the cook with the stick. "This is gonna be fun" Zoro said.
Zeus walked back to the deck before calling Ussop over, when Ussop came to him he said "How are you doing with Nami's new weapon?" Ussop scratched his head and said "Good but it's not finished yet." Zeus nodded and whistled calling down his cloud before taking out a small bar of seastone and explaining "This is seastone it is basically a solid version of the sea it enables you to hit people with devil fruit powers and can also weaken them maybe put a bit of it at the tips of her staff? You can also incorporate it into your weapons as far as i know this is the hardest metal in the world." Ussop looked at the small bar and said excitedly "Thanks Kurama!" as he ran off to go back to his inventions. Zeus smiled and went to take a seat on the deck before falling asleep.
A while later, Zeus woke up and looked around and saw a jungle before stretching and sitting up "Did they really leave me here?" he turned around and saw Nami and Ussop, Zeus tilted his head his head and asked "Are we at Little Garden?" Nami and Ussop nodded and Zeus asked again "And you two are still on the ship because?" Nami scoffed "There are dinosaurs and extinct bugs out there i'm not leaving this boat while Ussop nodded and said "Y-Yeah plus i have to finish Nami's weapon. Zeus shook his head at the two scaredy cats and said "Alright suit your selves im going to ride a T-rex!" He jumped up into the sky and flew away using Geppo. Nami and Ussop looked stunned, they looked at each other and said "He can fly?!"
Zeus was currently in the air looking for a T-rex to ride, after all it's not every day you get the chance to be on an Island that still has dinosaurs, in fact the more he thought about it the more he realized, he had been reincarnated into his favorite story and he was basically training and riding along for most of it, with the only exception being that night with Nojiko. Zeus realized he had never done what he wanted to do "But I can't fuck anything up, if I make a mistake someone's life could be permanently impacted.." he thought about how much free reign he had "Well I guess I can fuck around on jaya and some other places before going to save Ace." he was determined to change that future and kill that man, with newfound determination he let himself relax and continued his search for a ride. If only Zeus knew how cruel the world could be...
A while later he stumbled on to Luffy who was stuck under a rock, Zeus was still a bit sad that he couldn't find a T-rex and he sighed "Why are you under there Luffy?" Luffy blinked and said "The Giant put this rock on top of me so I couldn't stop him from fighting his friend while he was injured, why are you upset?" Zeus sighed and said "I couldn't find a T-rex to ride." as he grabbed the air and a spear made of lightning appeared, under Luffy's star eyes Zeus threw it through the rock shattering it and setting Luffy free. Luffy ran up to Zeus and said "Woah! Kurama that was so cool!" Zeus chuckled and said "I can even make swords watch this." Zeus made three swords and put them on his waist and said "Shitty love cook" Imitating Zoro, causing to Luffy to fall down laughing. Zeus smiled, he might not belong to this world but he still cherished his family here, truthfully he never had one before he died, his parents died when he was young and sent him to live with his aunt who ignored him and his cousins who just made fun of him, Luffy was his blood brother and twin ever since he was reincarnated and Zeus loved him more than he loved himself. Zeus himself thought it was a nice warm feeling, when he was kid he never really talked to Luffy or anyone else because he only saw them as characters in a story not real people until a certain day..
FLASHBACK
A five year old Zeus was sitting in the forest alone, thinking about everything and how he was alone with a bunch of characters, he didn't see them as real people, he felt like he was playing a video game where everyone else was an NPC, it didn't feel good. Zeus would often cry at night wishing he was back to his old world, where even if he didn't have any friends or family, at least there were people to talk to. While Zeus was crying he heard a rustling from the bushes near him.
Luffy came out of the bushes and waved at Zeus "Hey Zeus I finally found you! Why are you crying? Are you hungry?" Zeus snorted at his stupid 'brother' who only knew how to eat he said with disgust "Get away from me! I'm not your brother!" Luffy looked really sad before smiling again "Cmon, we have to eat dinner Dadan is making your favorite! Beef skewers!" Luffy ran up to Zeus and stuck him arm out to help Zeus off the ground. Zeus frowned and slapped his hand away and said "Shut up! I don't want your pity." Zeus pushed Luffy on the ground and stood above him looking down at him, Luffy looked up at his brother and was really sad, this was his only family other than gramps, why did he hate him so much? Luffy was about to cry as tears started forming in his eyes before he noticed that above Zeus was a big snake, Zeus didn't notice the snake as he sneered at Luffy. Luffy noticed the snake jumped at Zeus and screamed "ZEUS!! WATCH OUT!" he got up and shoved his brother out of the way letting the snake bite him instead as he screaming in pain, Zeus sat up and stared blankly at Luffy who was screaming in pain before grabbing a stick and smashing the snake over the head sending it slithering away, as Luffy collapsed on the ground holding his arm where the snake bit him. Zeus grabbed Luffy and looked at the snake bite noticing the wound was purple meaning he was poisoned, Zeus was really panicking he picked up Luffy and read towards Dadan's house, hoping she had something to help him.
Zeus smashed through the door breathing heavy and screamed "DADAN!!" Dadan walked into the room and saw Zeus holding Luffy, who was white as a ghost. "WHAT HAPPENED!" Dadan panicked, Zeus started crying and said "I-It was my fault I didn't notice the snake and Luffy pushed me out of the way! YOU HAVE TO SAVE HIM!" Zeus was holding Luffy and crying remembering how he treated Luffy just before he was biten and how Luffy still saved him, Zeus looked at Luffy's face and saw he was smiling, that made Zeus feel even worse. He was such a terrible person to Luffy, but Luffy still saved him and was happy. Dadan took Luffy from Zeus and saw that he was poisoned and ran to the medical room getting the only bandit that had any medical experience to help. When she returned she saw Zeus in the same position as before but this time there was no light in his eyes at all and he kept muttering "I'm a bastard" over and over, she was sad it seemed like the kid's last interaction with his brother wasn't a good one she walked over and patted him on the back and said "He's gonna be okay the doctor is fixing him up. He'll be back to normal in no time you should eat for now." She got no response, she got up and sighed walking to the kitchen and bringing the beef skewers she made for him and put them on the ground in front of him and rubbed his head "Luffy helped me make these he said they would cheer you up" That got a reaction, and not a good one. Zeus looked at the skewers and heard what Dadan said and felt even worse, remembering what he said to Luffy before, Zeus literally coughed out blood and fell backwards unconscious.
Zeus woke up in the medical room and sat up, looking around he saw Luffy and started crying again he got off the bed and walked over to Luffy, who's face was looking better and had bandages around his arm, and stared at his face, he was still smiling. Zeus was crying and just growled out "Why?" not expecting an answer as he turned around about to leave for good, when he heard a weak voice. "Because you're my brother." Zeus stopped and spun around to see Luffy looking at him and smiling "Even.. even if you hate me, I don't hate you because other than gramps you're the only family I have and if I lose you I wouldn't know what to do. I'd rather die than see you die in front of me." Zeus was stunned, he knew Luffy in the story was goofy but he wasn't stupid, he was just lazy and didn't like to think, but Zeus never expected that. He started crying again as he hugged Luffy "Shut up! Idiot! I don't hate you, I'm so sorry I said that! You're my brother i'll never let you die!" Zeus was crying like a baby and Luffy was smiling happily with tears in his eyes, Dadan was watching from the door and smiled while wiping the tears away from her eyes before turning around and leaving.
FLASHBACK END
A loud shout brought Zeus out of his daze as Ussop can running and said "Luffy! Nami got eaten by a T-rex!" Zeus and Luffy said at the same time "A T-rex!? Where!?" before Zeus coughed and added "and are you sure she got eaten?" Ussop was struck dumb and thought he saw two Luffys before remembering his predicament "I-I don't know she just disappeared, she said she saw Kurama and went after him and I heard her scream, I haven't seen her since." Zeus was about to reply before someone else beat him to it "I think we know where your friends are."

AND I BET NONE OF YOU WERE EXPECTING THE FLASHBACK GOTTEM obviously Zeus has some problems with himself and his predicament, let me know if you liked that and obviously Robin (after a heavy screening process was chosen as main wife, 1st woman in the harem, the rest are a secret tho EVEN IF YOU GUESS IT RIGHT I WONT ANSWER YOU SMART BASTARDS) Next chapter End of Little Garden probably all of Drum Island and start of Alabasta
I would like everybody to know that its gonna be mostly canon till Enies Lobby but after that though there will be some minor changes and possibly some HUGE changes after Sabaody, i mean i gotta keep you guys on your toes right?
