Climbing into the bath is painful. Honestly, I couldn't bring myself to look in the mirror at the damage. My nipples and lips are swollen. Different colored bruises cover my body. While I hate who Ignis has become and how our relationship has developed, I don't hate the way he makes my body feel when we're intimate. Is that wrong? I hear the door slam loudly. Great, he must home. Time must've gotten away from me in the bath because my fingers are like prunes!
"Carmen!" Ignis growled.

My heart stinks and realization dawns on me when I see the pregnancy tests.

"Lychinus says you're pregnant."
"But I just had my period a few weeks ago." I said quickly.
"Birthing wolf pups is a much quicker process. Just do as you're told, otherwise there will be consequences."
I nod quickly and head back to the bathroom.
Oh no! What if I am pregnant? I don't even want kids! This is an absolute nightmare. As I wait the 3 long minutes to find out my fate, I think about all the what if's.
