Artoria and Ainz made their way to the mansion following the trace of irisveil. She made her way as fast as possible to protect her but it seemed too late for it as by the time she made her way towards their aid, Maiya was laying on a pool of blood and irisveil was barely alive. That's when saber finally looked towards the culprit with a vicious glare and stricken with fierce determination.
Ainz on the other hand, before leaving sakura poured a plethora of anti-detection and noise cancellation spells but for surety used the mirror of remote viewing to check on her. Ainz heaved a sigh of relief seeing her sleep innocently through all the commotion. Then he finally started to focus on their battle.
Ainz was not a full-fledged servant so interfering in a battle or not truly depended on him. So this time he sat back and decided to lay witness to a battle between a servant and a human.
Sakura Pov:
The world shrouded in Darkness. She did not know where she was as her vision was consumed by all that remains in dark. For light had not dared trespass in such domain. But even then she felt a pull from her towards a vortex of the abyss. It was an amalgamation of all that is evil and holy, light and darkness, and finally creation and destruction. But for a cause even unknown to her, she felt no reason to shy from it. For something whispered on her ears, her calling for the abyss. Her very soul felt a serene connection towards it.
As if a moth attracted to flames she went towards the center of the pillar and then the world shifted from her very feet.
"Ainz-sama. We, the guardians of nazarick swear fealty to the one true being who stood beside us even to the very last moment."
Sakura wearily opened her eyes hearing ainz's name and decided to look at what was happening. There her eyes perceived to what were monsters ranging from dragons to what looked it angels all bow before a single undead. When she saw the undead dread crept her very soul. The aura, regalia, and the bearings executed by the being who she knew as her servant left her slack-jawed. For she had never seen this side of him.
"I, Ainz Oowl Gown accept all of your fealty, my dear guardians. Serve me and Nazarick well in the future."
Then the world again began to shift once more. This time she found herself in a throne room but it was anything but simple. This place was more akin to holy worship, a house of gods. To her left and right she saw things which no mortals dared lay witness.
Beings capable of destroying humanity in a single swipe. Dragons, demons, imps, fairies, fallen angels and legions and legions of the undead with no end to their number all bowing towards one god, one ruler. The Supreme Being, Ainz Oowl Gown sat in an obsidian throne, eyeing at his servants yet none dared meet his eyes and those who did shy away from in fear.
Even she herself without understanding felt a need to join them. To bow before the one being and to show her love and adoration. For the divinity exuded by him was simply that great. An aura that practically demanded one to kneel in front of the very being.
Sakura practically had stars in her eyes seeing such. For the first time in her life, she was not handling something in the realm of common sense but much beyond. She was elated to a great degree even to the point where she felt a need to touch them. Fire breathing dragons, angels, monsters myths converging to become reality. An unknown presence on the world through the connection of dreams alerted Alaya herself. For something so disastrous to exist even boggled her mind.
Then again the world shifted now showing Ainz standing in the center. Dragons after dragon bowing towards him.
"Oh, great liege. We the dragons wish to be one of you."
Ainz looked at them critically and accepted their fealty and that's when a problem regarding their placement started. He stood in his place thinking for a moment and began moving towards the direction of the sun the dragons made way for the last being to move
Suddenly magic sigils began surrounding him. The speed in which they moved and changed reminded her of the kaleidoscope.
She wasn't wrong. In another world, the use of such magic would bring devastation towards the world. For it remained no ordinary magic but it had a different name true magic, lost in the age of gods. Something that can shift the very reality of the world.
And such magic was released. Sakura was shocked. Where earlier it was an open plain surrounding forest suddenly, a mountain challenging the great Himalaya stood forth. The veracity of such power was such that her mind stopped working.
But again she felt a calling like no other. The staff held in Ainz hand resonated with her as if becking for her attention. The more she tried to ignore it the more it felt an attraction towards her. The pristine and intricate design where sat seven serpents each holding an orb toward its mouth. An object which is neither holy nor evil bearing the great deal of emotion towards its wielder.
She could sympathize with such for she was the same. She went forward at its calling and touched the holy/evil object. The moment contact was made she fell. Drearily opening her eyes she saw that she had fallen from her bed and hit her head.
"A dream"
For it shocked her to the core. It was too real to be a dream.
"You woke up, sakura."
As if on point Ainz stood beside her and helped her get up and said the following
"Breakfast is ready. Get ready as soon as you soon. Today we will start your training."
"Training"
She was speechless.
