One week later
Rex.
It's been one week since the deaths. Since the killings. Hell, I am glad it is over. I can finally focus on the things that matter. To me, school is the most important thing to me. Because of the drama, I lost a session and now I have to work twice as hard. Going back to normal life has been the most relaxing thing ever.
Not having to think about that motherfucker Cassius—I know, it is not good to speak ill of the dead. I mean, it is not cool calling him a motherfucker but he did all those bad things. He hurt all those people.
"Yo," Beau walks into my room without knocking. There is this newfound happiness that takes over him. It is good to see him being back to his old self. I think the whole Cassius drama made him into a downer. Now he is smiling, he looks brighter and happier. Just like he was before.
"What's up,'' I ask returning the smile.
