Lan Xiang forced himself to wake up. He dragged Lu Xifa again and said goodbye to his other classmates.
"Hah, where are we going this time?" Lu Xifa didn't even try to resist anymore. The favor that Lan Xiang did for her—finding the Yang necklace—was enough for her to yield to his teleportation requests.
"Let's go back to my house first!" Lan Xiang rubbed his hands. It was time to execute his plan.
Lu Xifa couldn't be bothered to bring Lan Xiang to the garden, so she headed to the girl's restroom and pushed him inside.

When she entered again, the rift was gone and so was Lan Xiang. "B, but I swear I saw like a blue puddle with a head floating!"

Lan Xiang landed on his feet and posed like Ir*nman as usual, leaving Lu Xifa speechless. "How long are you gonna do this schtick?"
"For as long as you place the portals on the floor."
Lu Xifa swore to herself to never place it on the floor again.
"Xifa, you wanna come with?" Before he opened the door, he turned to Lu Xifa.
"Um, no thanks." Lu Xifa guessed that her cousin would probably be uncomfortable to see a girl with her fiancé.
"Then wait for me here." He entered the house.
"Jian'er, I'm home! Not for long though..."
Xie Jian walked down the stairs. "What do you mean not for long?"
"I'll be leaving again, I just came by to borrow something from you."
"What?"
"Your Disguise Ring, please lend it to me." Lan Xiang clasped his hands together in a begging manner.
"Eh, why?" Xie Jian couldn't think of any reason why Lan Xiang would even think about borrowing her Disguise Ring. What use would he have for it?
"Uh, never mind that. Just let me borrow it, for one week."
"One week? That means I can't go out the entire week..." Xie Jian squirmed. Whenever Lan Xiang wasn't home, she went out and about going shopping, eating at restaurants, enjoying her stay at Hongliu City to the fullest.
"Ah, don't worry, I'll return it to you everyday. I only need it for about 5 hours a day."
"Only 5 hours?"
"Well, depends on the situation, I guess." Lan Xiang shrugged.
"What is the situation?"
Lan Xiang hesitated for a bit, before telling her. "I'll, uh, be refining pills in the marketplace, and I don't want anyone to know it's me."
"You'll... be refining pills? In the marketplace? ...Are you lacking money?" Xie Jian once again cursed the Lan family for mistreating Lan Xiang like this.
