Capítulo 73: Strawberry Jam

[Johan's POV]

Disco music blared outside the two-story building between an empty parking lot and a motel. The volume increased as they neared the entrance of the Strawberry Jam Disco Bar. But it can never outmatch the loud pulsing of his blood against his ears.

'We're going in the gay bar. Oh, shit! Oh, shit!'

Johan found himself taking a step backward, his red Converse shoes scratching against the pavement. But two arms prevented him from fleeing away as Jenny and Jacqueline latched onto both his arms.

"Ah. Ah. Ah~!" Jacqueline shook her head, tightening her grip, a warning look on her face. "You agreed to come with us to cheer up Mommy Thesa."

Glancing at Thesa, who had an excited grin across her freshly painted red lips, Johan deemed it's no longer necessary to cheer her up. The jolly woman had retouched her face with makeup, removing any trace of her earlier drunken breakdown. "I think she's over it now."
