Capítulo 206: Aaron's operation.
Aaron was lying prone on an operating table.
"I have changed the anaesthetics to the one I created especially for you. Even if the medicine dampens the pain, Aaron, it will still hurt a lot! Are you sure you want to stay awake for this?" Ana asked Aaron in Tevittarian.
She was nervous and have many concerns but she promised Aaron, that she will do the operation.
Aaron wanted to be awake for the operation so if anything goes wrong he can guide her.
Nyx is currently under anaesthesia in a room nearby.
Aaron and Nyx share the same soul.
One soul divided between the two of them.
To put it in another way, one consciousness divided to house two different body. Each having 50% of the original consciousness.
Because of their weird circumstances, the divided consciousness developed their own personality branching out from the original personality.
Fortunately, the original personality/soul 'Ian' didn't lose its sense of self.
That is why both Aaron and Nyx didn't become two different entity.
Aaron wanted to focus 100% of 'his' consciousness on this operation.
And to do that, Nyx had to be sedated.
Aaron replied to Ana in Tevittarian.
"Yeah, If something were to happen I will be able to guide you. This operation is very risky, a single mistake can make me paralysed for life. That is why I need to be awake for this operation. So if something were to happen and I lose my sense of pain? That will be it! The end."
Hearing Aaron, Ana sighed.
Turning to her assistants, she gave them a nod.
"Then let's start! Harry, put the patient under anaesthesia."
"Yes, doctor!"
A couple of minutes later, Ana asked Aaron.
"How are you feeling, Aaron?"
"I feel like I'm back in my mother's womb... Like I'm floating but there's no feeling of crampedness... I kind of like it, hmm... It's gooooood!" Aaron replied, telling Ana what he was feeling.
"Okay then, let's attach your mecha spine!" Ana said before turning to one of her assistants who was holding something that looked like a mechanical spine.
"It's not mecha spine, It's HC-X01!" Aaron corrected Ana.
A few moments later.
"Aaaaaaaarrrghhhhhrghh!!!" Aaron let out a heart-wrenching scream.
Everyone in the operation room flinched hearing Aaron's scream.
"Aaaaarrrghhhggh, fuuuuuuuu**k!!!"
Aaron was giving his all to endure the pain he was feeling.
Even with the pain dampeners, he was feeling a lot of pain.
"Aaaarghhh! Thhhiiiisssssshhhh, isssssss naaaaaaaattthhhiinng!!! Iiii fffeeellltt mmmuuuccchh wooaaarrrrssssseee!!!" Aaron screamed.
Ana and her team continued with the operation to attach HC-X01 on Aaron.

"Aurora, are you okay?" Erisviel asked Aurora.
They just finished class together and were on their way to meet up with Zulkernyn and Ian at a cafe.
But Aurora abruptly stopped walking.
She scrunched her face, feeling strange.
Her heart was beating so fast and loud, that she could hear the sound of her heart beating in her head.
There's a gnawing feeling in her soul, telling her that there's something wrong with Aaron and Nyx.
Aurora never felt like this before.
"Where's Aaron?" Aurora asked Erisviel with an anxious expression on her face.
"What's wrong? And no I don't know where he is. He told me a couple of days ago that he is going away for some time, he didn't tell me where. I don't think anyone knows where he is."
Aurora bit her lips before calling Ian and Zulkernyn to ask them about Nyx and Aaron's whereabouts.
But the answer she got from them was, they don't know where the two are.
Aurora then called Ana's phone but her phone was unreachable.
"Aurora?" Erisviel put her hands on Aurora's shoulders.
She looked into Aurora's eyes and asked her one more time.
"What's wrong Aurora? Why are being so anxious and worried about the two of them? What's going on, tell me!"
"I-I" Aurora didn't know what to say.
What if her worries are for nought, and there's nothing wrong with Aaron and Nyx.
She thought for a few moments before she sighed and replied to Erisviel.
"I think there's something wrong with, Aaron and Nyx. I can't reach them from the telepathic channel. It's completely closed off! I don't know, suddenly I just started to feel anxious and worried about the two of them. There's also feelings of dread and pain... So much pain! Can't you locate them, Eris? Please, find them!"
Aurora pleaded in a tone that wrung Erisviel's heart.
It was almost like, Aurora was begging Erisviel.
Erisviel never saw Aurora like this!
Taking out her phone, Erisviel tried to locate Aaron and Nyx's GPS tracker.
But they were turned off!
Erisviel frowned.
"Call, Sabastian! Maybe he knows where the two of them are. I'm going to the base to try and locate them, If I find them I'll let you know!" Erisviel said to Aurora before leaving for Nameless' base in Starfall City.
Aurora nodded to Erisviel before calling Sabastian.
A minute later, Sabastian picked up Aurora's call.
"Hey, Rory! Wassup?"
"Basti, do you know where Aaron and Nyx are?" Aurora asked in an anxious tone.
"..." Sabastian felt silent.
Sabastian's silence answered Aurora's question.
"So, you do know! Sabastian, where are my brother and sister!!!" Aurora doesn't have the time to waste any more words on Sabastian.
She wants to know where the two of then are and how are they doing.
Knowing, Sabastian, Aurora knows that he will try his best to not give into her.
"Aurora, they are both fine. Don't worry about them, they are in a place where there's no signal and no way to contact anyone. Everyone is growing on their own, Aurora. Aaron and Nyx... Think of it that its a trial for them to grow. So-"
"Sabastian, shut your bullish*t! Tell me where are my brother and sister are!!!" Aurora asked in a threatening tone interrupting Sabastian.
"..." Sabastian.
"If you want to find them, then find them yourself! I promised him I won't tell anyone about his whereabouts." Sabastian replied before hanging up the call.
*crack*
Aurora crushed her phone with her hands.
She was angry that Sabastian didn't tell her about Aaron and Nyx's whereabouts.
She took a few deep breaths to calm herself down.
After calming herself down, Aurora went to Nameless' base to find Erisviel and hope she finds both Aaron and Nyx.

"WHAT THE FU*K, SABASTIAN! HOW COULD YOU LET HIM GO THROUGH WITH THIS!!!" Aurora yelled at Sabastian in anger.
The misfits are gathered outside the operation room of Aaron.
They could hear Aaron's scream from the operation room.
Even though Aaron has taken several precautions against Erisviel, Erisviel still found him at Nameless' base in Star City.
Aaron never would have guessed that the ear studs, he got from Erisviel as a gift had trackers in them.
If it was in a different circumstance then Aaron would have been proud of Erisviel, that his student one-upped against her mentor.
But now, a beating awaits for both Nyx and Erisviel from the other misfits.
Sabastian sighed hearing Aurora's angry outburst.
"Calm down, Rory." He calmly told Aurora to cool off her head.
"Aaaaaaarrrrrgghhh"
Everyone heard Aaron's heart-wrenching scream.
They flinched hearing the scream, it was much louder and intense than previous screams.
"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN HEARING HIM SCREAM LIKE THAT, SABASTIAN!!! HE IS IN PAIN! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE FU*K IM FEELING RIGHT NOW!!!"
"No, I don't but the pain he is feeling is nothing compared to the tortures he went through in our previous lives. Yeah, it sucks but it is what it is! He can bear it." Sabastian said looking straight into Aurora's eyes before continuing.
"Don't tell me you don't know, why he is going through with it. You know very well, why! He has enough of it, his passive idleness curse is slowly eating him and now that he has Li Hwa by his side, he doesn't want to show that weak, vulnerable side to her. You have noticed it, didn't you? It is getting worse, he is collapsing more often than before, it takes more time for him to get up, he is limping hunching over. The pain meds are not working anymore, his body is developing an immunity towards them."
"Aurora, Aaron needs this. So, shut the fu*k up and be supportive! The reason why he didn't tell you, is because of this." Sabastian said pointing his finger towards Aurora, implying that her current behaviour is the reason why Aaron/Nyx didn't tell her about the operation.
"I-"
She didn't know what to reply.
It's true, she knew all along about Aaron's condition.
Aaron always said he was okay and not to worry about him.
She knew all along that it was all a lie, yet she believed him.
Pretending not to notice his sufferings.
Aurora slumped down on a chair nearby.
"I-I just -"
"It's okay... He is like that, just let him be. Don't worry about him, he will be fine. After today I don't think he will hide anything from you ever again. So just wait, all we can do is wait until the operation is over."
Aurora didn't reply.
"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu***kkkkkk, thiiissss sshhiiiiiiitttt!!!"
Everyone heard Aaron's cursing scream coming from the operation room.
For 5 hours straight, the misfits heard Aaron scream and curse in pain.
Until Ana came out of the operation room informing everyone that the operation was a success.
