Capítulo 9: Preparations
Soon Eight months passed by and the time when Sam has to go to travel has came. He and his pokemons were training all these months and they all got good results.
Today is the day when Sam will go to the journey. He said goodbye to his parents and went towards the lab of Professor Oak. He wants to see Ho-oh and thus he has to travel with Ash till Viridian City. Sam reached early and he saw Gary pick a Squirtle and other two kids took Charmander and Bulbasaur.
He greeted Professor Oak and then was chatting with Gary about battling in Indigo League. Time passed as Gary was also waiting for Ash to come. Sam decided to call out for Gacha during the time. He has collected 10 tickets by sending Mew in these months.

'Mew reached bottleneck of High stage while other legendary pokemons have also nearly approached High stage bottleneck, although it seems that they are weak compared to other legendaries but there foundation is pretty solid. I gave them their corresponding items last night and I found that unlike the game pokemons in real world can hold more than one items freely. I just hope giving both Dragon scale and Dragon fang can make Eevee evolve into dragon type.' Sam thought.
Soon Ash came in his night clothes as everything went same as anime as Ash didn't got any Kanto starter but got a Pikachu although it didn't listen to Ash at all and refused to go into pokeball.
"Ash, it seems that Pikachu didn't like to go into pokeball, so you should just let it stay outside." Sam advised Ash."I think you are right Sam" replied Ash.
"Comeon let's go Ash, we will go together till Viridian City." "Ok Sam" "Hey, Sam and Ash take your Pokedex and pokeballs." said Professor Oak. "Keep your Pokedex safe as it is also represents your identity as Alliance trainer.
Next they both got outside the lab as Ash's mother and Sam's parents were present there will some other people cheering them. Ash got his backpack from his mother. But she said that Pikachu looks a little weird and all the people present near got electroshocked by Pikachu.
Next Ash wore a pair of rubber gloves and tied a rubber rope to Pikachu and started pulling him out of the town. Sam has seen this in anime in his last life but he still enjoyed watching it in real world.
Ash and Pikachu's funny interaction were going all the way and finally Ash released the rope tied on Pikachu and removed his rubber gloves and tried to mend his relationship with Pikachu. Sam watched all these things from a distance and didn't mean to mix in as these things are the basis of Ash and Pikachu's deep friendship in future.
On the forest path, Ash saw a Pidgey and tried to order Pikachu to catch it but Pikachu refused to listen to Ash. Then Ash threw a pokeball but failed to catch the Pidgey. "Ash you need to defeat a pokemon by battling it and then throw a pokeball to catch it." "Oh I see, thanks Sam."
Frustrated from his failure Ash threw a stone which hit a Spearow and then Spearow tried to attack Pikachu and thus ate a electric shock. The wounded Spearow called out its community and they started chasing Ash and Pikachu. Sam hid behind a tree so that he would not be noticed by the Spearow community.
