Capítulo 50: Becoming a Cameraman Again...
???: "So Mr. Maiava, how are you doing today."
Joseph: "I…" I looked at the woman who was sitting right to inform me. She has waist-length golden hair, and her eyes are the same color as the sky. She looked like the typical blonde girl you find in the U.S., but one thing that is different about her is her pointy ears. She is an elf named Lenna Varen. She has been my therapist for three years, and I am currently in one of her sessions.
Lanna: "don't worry Mr. Maiava, your enemies will not hear anything about this because of patient confidentiality. Even if the three factions demand you information, they will not get that far here in Agartha as they will be facing charges." she said while looking at me with a reassuring look on her face.
Joseph: "I am doing fine today, Lanna." I said with a smile on my face.
Lanna: "so you haven't had any nightmares since I told you to stop taking your medication." she said while writing down things in her notebook on hand.
Joseph: "no, I felt great; it has been a while since I slept without taking my meds." I said while stretching my body, feeling relieved.
Lanna: "what about your relationship with your daughter? Did it get better?" she said while looking at me with a smile on her face.
Joseph: "yeah, she is doing great; she started taking martial arts classes to protect herself." I said with a proud look on my face.
Lanna: "good... Good, I could safely say that your mind is stable for now, but one thing you haven't told me is your past relationship with Lara." she said while looking directly at me for any signs of change on my face. "Have you tried talking to her all these years." When I heard the words, I looked down and thought for a moment then answered her question.
Joseph: "We haven't talked to each other since we separated ways three years ago…" I said in a sad tone. Dr. Varen looked at me and sighed as she wrote something down on her notebook before standing up and ending the timer on top of her desk.
Lanna: "Mr. Maiava, this will be your last season until you start talking with Lara and mending your relationship with her. Do try talking to her or find a way to see her once." when I heard her words, I only nodded. I got up from the chair and left her office. I headed toward the entrance when suddenly someone called out for me.
???: "boss, are you finished with your therapy season." I looked at the black man with a British accent; that man's name is Grant Galloway British born. I started making my private mercenary group with a little help from Himura, who looked for elite soldiers that are willing to join me. The reason I made this group is to help me track down my enemies and to protect my families.
Joseph: "Yeah, I am done; we should head back to London to meet the rest of our team." I said while heading toward the London portal. "Is there any news on Dr. Shou's whereabouts."
Grant: "Nothing yet, boss, don't worry, we will eventually find him." when I heard this, I just sighed.
Joseph: "How about Haru is she safe in school." I said while looking at him with death in my eyes.
Grant: "don't worry, boss, we are the best team ever created; we will do our best to protect your family." when I heard him, I released him from my glare and started walking again. When we reached the teleporter, we saw another team member. Her name is Ashly Burch. Code name Viper is an American born—viper who wears all green clothing, and she likes to wear a gas mask everywhere.
Viper: "oh, boss your back, let us go. Hana is waiting on the other side." she said with her stoic look on her face. I went toward the teleport and went inside.
We headed toward the exit of the train station and found a girl with pink hair with cat ears taking photoshoots with people who adore Japanese culture. I looked at the young Korean girl who pretended that her ears and tail are fake. This girl's name is Hana Rang, South Korean born; she looked like one of those k-pop girls bright colored clothes and makeup. Though she looked innocent, she could kill a man with one hand.
Joseph: "Hana, let's go stop messing around with them." I said while getting inside the black hummer that was parked nearby. Hana noticed me and headed towards us and entered the driver's seat.
Hana: "where do want to go, boss," she said in Korean with a smirk on her face, Ava instantly translated her words and talked back in a broken Korean language.
Joseph: "head back home, and stop messing around you do know that I have an AI in my head right." I said while glaring at her.
Hana: "your no fun boss, you could have played along and not know anything... By the way, your Korean sucks." I didn't mind her word she drove back toward the cafe while diving toward the cafe I got a phone call. I looked at who called me, and I was surprised Sam was calling me. I was debating on accepting the request when I remembered my therapist stating that I should try to talk to Lara. I received the call from Sam.
Joseph: "Sam, why are you calling me." when Sam heard my call, she was surprised that I accepted.
Sam: "Yo, Joseph, can you give Lara and me a hand? We need another cameraman.." when I heard Lara's name, I didn't think twice and accepted Sam's invitation.
Joseph: "sure, where are you right now. I will be there in a bit." Sam told me that Lara is going to an expedition with a TV show and they need a camera crew, so Sam asked me to be part of the team.
Joseph: "Hana, head toward a shop that sells cameras to get me the most expensive one.." I said with excitement
