Capítulo 140: A star had fallen

The night that Zhang Wang returned to Xunfeng Peak, a star had fallen from the skies.

When he noticed the dazzling blue that shot downward from the heavens he couldn't help but feel a chill down his spine. He was strangely certain that it had been an omen. Though it was an omen he didn't understand.

No use in wallowing in the logistics of assumptions and bad feelings so he focused on the obstacle that lay obviously in his way.

The gates creaked open, welcoming back him and Yu Yanlin back home. 

But he had been in luck. It was Chu Changying we walked out to greet them, her arms crossed and frowning in displeasure. "You had sure taken your time to get back! You know that our cute Shidi is worried about you, right?"

Zhang Wang laughed nervously as he hopped off his horse, "That Sikong Ren? Yeah forget it." His eyes darted around, worried that an ominous presence might be watching.
