Capítulo 349: Chapter 337 - To The Shadow Dimension

*BOOOM*

*BOOOM*

*BOOOM*

Zeel, Ruri, Ahmanet, Nick, and Himiko watched the battle occurring in the distance and frowned at the display of power.

No matter the opponent, Seth seemed to have infinite energy to match them.

Everyone amongst them was a supernatural being so they could all tell that the battle wasn't looking good for Linda.

Linda was holding her own against Seth but everyone could see that Linda had arrived on the battlefield exhausted and her strength has been decreasing ever since while Seth's only grew.

"We are doomed," Ahmanet stated, finally resigning herself to Fate.

"You were doomed to begin with but now, I may die as well," Himiko replied, directing her gaze to Alice hopefully.

As long as Alice survived and escaped, Himiko knew that she also had hope.

"Can someone help Jenny?" Nick asked pleadingly while clutching the sick Jenny in his arms.

Jenny's had black-veins crisscrossing her body, signifying the Death-Dimension slowly eating away at her soul.

Even if anyone saved Jenny, there would not be much of 'Jenny' remaining judging by the numerous black-veins inside her body.

"Sometimes it is better to know when to let someone go," Ruri said meaningfully while glancing at Zeel who was keeping Elizabeth's and Alice's souls trapped inside their bodies.

Nick snarled at Ruri unconsciously and she quickly hid behind Zeel for protection due to her cowardice and powerlessness without her Pseudo-Shadow-Dimension Beads.

Zeel did not pay Ruri or Nick any mind, he was too focused on containing all the energies inside Alice's and Elizabeth's bodies.

It was a complex process to stop a soul from ascending to Heaven or descending to Hell. Zeel had only done it once before and even then, he had not completed the act without help.

It was in that moment of absolute concentration that something Zeel had been waiting for since the beginning started to occur.

The Mbeamer on his, Alice's, and Elizabeth's wrists lit up with faint multi-colored light. Ruri immediately thought that Zeel was about to Mjump and was slightly relieved.

"Are you leaving?" Ruri asked hopefully.

If Zeel left, then she could return to her Shadow Dimension and shift Universes along with him… that way, she would not be forced to die in a Death Dimension where souls were captured.

"No!" Zeel replied dismissively "The barrier of this Dimension is too strong so nobody can leave even with the Mbeamer… the Mbeamer lighting up just means that the barrier is weakening…"

Ruri had figured as much but still couldn't determine Zeel's endgame. After all, a Dimensional Barrier was strong enough to stop all unwanted intrusions or exits.

Everything that had entered the Dimension so far has happened because Seth wanted it to be so… everything except Linda who broke the barrier faster than Seth could react.

The mere fact that Linda could penetrate 95 Dimensional Barriers and make it here in time was a testament to Linda's strength and also how much she was weakened as a result.

Ruri noticed the Life-Energy weakening the Dimensional Barrier a long time ago but that was merely two percent weakening and nothing that could make a big difference.

The conversion rate between Reverse-Energy and Death-Energy was 100 units to 1 unit. That was simply too inefficient.

Extrapolating the results, Zeel would require months of pumping Reverse-Energy into the Death Dimension to see the barrier weaken enough to even attempt one Mjump.

Even then, the Mjump would probably end in failure.

"What are you planning?" Ruri asked, noticing Zeel was giving Ahmanet and Himiko secretive glances like a plan was in the workings.

Ruri would be lying if she said that she wasn't concerned. For all she knew, Zeel could be planning to sacrifice her since he was known to perform such acts in the past.

Zeel was an unpredictable person so assuming that he was ready to betray you at any time would keep you alive a little longer.

Ruri had half a mind to unsummon herself and head back to her Shadow Dimension, even if such an action would cause a backlash to her soul.

"Here!" Zeel said, cutting his finger and squeezing a drop of blood to offer Ruri.

"What?" Ruri asked surprised, she never expected such a development.

"My Blood Essence should empower you enough to take a couple of attacks without a problem. I need more time…" Zeel said, looking at his Mbeamer that was getting marginally brighter.

Ruri bent down and licked the Blood-Essence from Zeel's finger and orgasmed a little in her armor from the sheer rush that came with Royal Homo-Superior blood.

Added to the fact that Zeel was her mate, Ruri felt like she was given water while wandering the desert for several millennia.

Ruri felt her Blood Manipulation strengthen to the same level as her Shadow Powers. Soon, Ruri's Shadow armor was replaced by a blood-red armor complimented by a spear of blood.

"I will run when this power begins to dwindle," Ruri stated, looking Zeel in the eyes challengingly.

Her message was clear 'I don't mind playing a part in your plan but I will not die for you!'

"I don't blame you," Zeel replied exhaustedly "You can run if you are wounded,"

Ruri nodded and disappeared in a burst of blood-roses that soared into the skies and traveled towards the explosion in the distance.

Linda Cali's Side

Unlike all the previous battles, Seth and Linda were locked in a battle of distance while floating in the air.

Linda would send attacks using the elements and Seth would respond in kind.

Their battle resembled a battle between Sorcerers instead of the physical combat that Zeel and Ruri had participated in.

Still, Seth didn't dare let down his guard since each of Linda's attacks held some sort of curse or soul manipulation entwined within the elements.

Abyssal-Celestialsapiens were a divergent race of the True Celestialsapiens. Abyssal-Celestialsapiens could do anything they pleased as long as they were in Abyssal Realms.

However, the further they were from Abyssal Realms, the more weakened they would become. Seth's Dimension was not too far from an Abyssal Realm but also not too close.

Linda's power was draining rapidly and not recovering as fast.

"[Soul Clap]!" Linda yelled, clapping her hands together and sending out a pulse of soul energy that shocked Seth's entire Dimension.

Seth, himself, may not possess any soul but that was only because his entire Dimension acted as a veil of sorts that protected the true location of his soul from the sight of all other Gods.

"Argh!" Seth screamed in anger, ready to dash across the two-mile distance that separated him from Linda, but at the last moment, Seth managed to raise his scythe above his head.

"[Feed Me Your Blood]!" Ruri yelled, appearing above Seth as her Blood-Spear changed into a Blood-Axe that collided against Seth's Scythe.

Seth felt his blood seep from under his skin and join together with Ruri's blood axe.

Knowing that more of his blood would be absorbed, Seth allowed the force behind Ruri's attack to separate him from her blood-sucking axe.

*BOOM*

Seth was sent spiraling out of the air and crashing into the ground with a force that shook the Earth.

"[Blood Connection]" Ruri thought while focusing on Seth's blood and Linda's blood, creating a subtle connection between the two.

Instantly, a portal of blood appeared in front of Linda and Seth, connecting them to each other by bending space itself.

Linda immediately knew what needed to be done.

She extended her hand through the Blood Portal in front of her and briefly touched Seth's skin on the other side, sending a powerful pulse of soul energy directly into Seth's body.

Pulling her hand out of the Blood Portal, Linda traced the soul energy to figure out where Seth's soul was located, and when she did figure it out, Linda instantly beamed the information to the person who could do the most damage – Zeel.

'Scattered at these locations across the Dimension,' Linda thought, beaming the thought to Zeel who beamed back a reply that he had received the information.

*BOOM*

Linda was too focused on communicating with Zeel and forgot to pay attention to the battlefield.

Ruri was sent soaring through the air, crashing into Linda and sending them both crashing into the ground.

Ruri landed on Linda so she was relatively uninjured.

"[Blood Cocoon]!" Ruri yelled, solidifying several layers of blood around her and Linda.

*Chuku*

Even with Ruri's best efforts, the attack of Seth's scythe, which came immediately after her crash landing, tore through almost all the layers of her cocoon.

Linda and Ruri could see the tip of Seth's scythe come to a stop at the last layer of the Blood Cocoon.

They knew that Seth's next swing would break the cocoon and definitely kill them.

Sadly, they had underestimated Seth's creativity and were caught unprepared by what happened next.

A single spike emerged from the tip of Seth's scythe and quickly pierced through both Ruri and Linda who had been stacked on top of each other.

Both women erupted with black blood from their mouths and were thankful that Seth's unexpected strike had missed any vital spots in their bodies.

Still, they had both been mortally wounded and poisoned with enough Death-Energy to kill a Titan.

"Fuck!" Ruri yelled, cursing Zeel inside her mind.

Seth recovered his scythe as was about to slash once more to dissect the cocoon, killing Ruri and Linda trapped inside in the process but something unexpected happened.

Seth suddenly felt at least thirty percent of his Dimension… his Domain get transferred to someone else… someone who felt familiar.

"Zeel Crawford!!!!!!" Seth yelled in anger, teleporting himself to Zeel's side of the battlefield.

Thought, with his Domain slipping from his control, Seth took a lot more effort and Death-Energy to teleport himself.

∞∞

Inside the blood cocoon, Ruri sighed in relief knowing that the strange energy disturbance was Zeel's doing.

If it was Seth, Ruri dreaded the thought of Seth becoming even more powerful than he already was.

The Blood-Essence Ruri had received from Zeel was almost used up and Linda was also in no shape to continue fighting.

"Let's go," Ruri said, rotating her body to face Linda below her "Zeel is going to be fine and we need to recover.

My Dimension follows Zeel every time he enters a new Universe so we will be with him in the next. My Dimension is also closer to the Abyssal Realms,"

Of course, Ruri did not mention that a Time Shadow had already prophesized her and Zeel's death, less her ticket at survival, Linda, refuse to leave.

"Okay!" Linda replied, coughing another mouthful of black blood as she reverted to her human form of Linda Cali.

Ruri nodded excitedly and created a Gate to her Shadow Dimension that consumed them both.

Ruri's plan was simple… Linda could do anything in an Abyssal Realm and Ruri's Shadow Dimension was right next to an Abyssal Realm.

When Ruri died, she would simply have Linda contracted to resurrect her even stronger than she currently was.

After all, resurrecting Ruri would be as simple as Linda snapping her fingers as long as she was close enough to the Abyssal Realm.
