694 B.C - Xandar: Asera's Apartment
Asera sat, humming along to a song as she began cooking some food even if she didn't particularly enjoy the algae based food of Xandar.
Well, cooking is a stretch, after all, she pressed a few buttons and began reading.
Asera didn't have much to do, since leaving the Nine Realms, Asera's life had been completely peaceful. The most interesting thing she had done since making a life here was use 'Gradation Air' to conjure some fake money when she wanted to engineer things.
The year had been similar to her first, simply learning and rejecting her ever persisting roommate, Esrie.
Then again, Asera might end up accepting just to make her life less mundane. She had such a normal life for so long now, she wanted something to spice it up a little.
Sadly, she didn't want to ruin what she had either.
The girl sighed as her roommate walked through the door, holding a black bag.
"Hello~ Asera" Esrie said in a sing-song type voice, setting her bag on the table.
Asera greeted the girl back, turning her head back to her book now that standard greetings were over.
"So, snowflake, are you doing anything tomorrow?" Esrie said, her ever present smile on her face.
"Yes, I am actually Esrie." Asera said, making the other girl frown. Asera never left the house unless she was going to the library. So, this was unusual.
"Are you going on a date or something?" The girl said, trying not to let any sadness into her voice.
Asera chuckled internally before speaking, "Yes, I am. How'd you know?"
Esrie let off a sad smile, "Just a good guesser, could I ask who you're going with?"
Asera nodded, still laughing on the inside, "Why you of course. I figured since you had been so persistent with me all this time, you deserve a little taste."
All of the previous sadness on Esrie instantly disappeared before, the girl let out a large smile, hugging Asera and, faster than she could see somehow, Esrie instantly disappeared into her room.

??? - ???
A woman with pale white skin, black markings on her face making it look something like a skull, and a cloak, sat at a table, staring at it while it showed the inside of Asera's apartment.
The woman was scowling, then a snapping sound was heard, the woman opening her clenched fists and letting the shards of a pen drop to the ground.
"How dare!"
Then, the janitor Asera had seen so many times before walked into the room. "You know, Death, you really shouldn't blame Asera. She doesn't know who you are currently. And of course, you're the only one we can blame for that. The reason she is in the form is because of you after all."
The newly named Death nodded along, trying to calm herself along the way. "Fine, then I'll just blame the cretin who dared to court her."
The janitor chuckled, shaking his head before walking off.

694 B.C - Xandar: Apartment Building Entrance
Asera stood in front of her building, wearing a simple pair of jeans and a white sweater. The goddess' black glasses adorned with glare from the sun.
Esrie walked out of the building, a green blouse and white skirt adorning her curvy figure. The girl was smiling brightly once more, happy to finally be going on the date she had worked so very hard for.
Well, not that hard, she was just really persistent.
/Really/ persistent.
Esrie took the shorter girl's hand after the two exchanged a simple greeting, dragging her along the sidewalk to the date's first destination.

694 B.C - Xandar: Park
The two girl's walked into an rather empty park, finding a blanket on the ground, basket full of food inside with a bottle of wine on the side of it.
Asera stared at the set up blankly. "I'm almost certain you didn't leave the house since I agreed to go on a date with you. How the Hel did you set this up?"
Esrie grinned at the confused girl, setting her down onto the blanket, opening the basket and wine in the process. "Well, as you know, I have been trying to get this date for two years. Of course, I have everything ready to be set up at a simple call."
Asera shook her head at the girl's antics, taking the sandwich that Esrie offered her.
Said girl was filling two glasses with wine, humming as she did. Humming was simply something Esrie did whenever she was overtly happy, something Asera had noticed throughout her two years with the girl.
"Is your plan to simply get me drunk enough so you can get some consent?" Asera joked, chuckling as she took a sip from the glass Esrie handed her.
"Of course not, I happen to know you are simply not adventurous enough to get drunk. So, I'm going for a buzz."
Asera frowned at the not adventurous statement. She was adventurous as Hel. She lead a rebellion, ran from her home, and traveled a quarter of Midgard.
Then again, she realized that Esrie knew none of that, and she had been rather tame in her time on Xandar. So, Asera set out to prove that she was still fun.
Probably.....

694 B.C - Xandar: Random Street
Around an hour ago, an Asera who had just chugged all the wine left in the wine bottle, began dragging Esrie around the town, looking for something that Asera wouldn't tell.
Asera quickly dragged the girl into a building, smiling as she saw the interior. Esrie frowned as she saw that it was actually a bar, not wanting Asera to get drunk.
....More drunk.
"Barkeep! 20 Shots!" Asera shouted, walking up to the bar, Esrie in tow.
"No, Asera. I may have provided you the wine, but that is far to much, not to mention expensive." Esrie said, concern marring the beautiful girl's features.
"Listen, if I'm going to drink, I'm going to do it until I hate myself for the next week." Asera said, instantly downing three of the shots that had arrived.
"And, you're gonna hate yourself with me." The goddess said with a smile, handing Esrie two shots.
Esrie cursed herself, hating the fact that it was hard for her to say no to the girl when she began smiling. Then, the mostly sober girl, quickly downed the two shots and Asera handed her another two.

694 B.C - Xandar: Asera's Apartment
Asera sat up in her bed, a splitting headache hitting her.
The girl groaned in pain, realizing she didn't actually have anything on. Widening her eyes in surprise, she looked to her side seeing that Esrie was there, still sleeping.
The goddess cursed herself for drinking so much. From what she could remember, which wasn't much, she was also the initiator, so she couldn't just shift the blame to the other girl.
Sighing slightly, she got out of bed, getting dressed and got ready to start her day. After all, she had work today.

"I'm gonna kill her!"
The next chapter will have a major timeskip, it's going to be a 50 year time skip. Hope your not to mad about it, but it is needed.
Hope you enjoyed the slighty fluff chapter. Sadly, Esrie won't be making another appearance, she was mainly just a character so I could introduce Death being possessive of Asera.
Anyways, thanks for reading the chapter.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
