Was it really the suit? Ned cycled his mind from being concerned to uncaring as candidates cut a way for him. Some time he dodged shoulders, but mostly he moved smoothly between them with the aim of looking for Claurette and his team (if it was his team). 

After some time, Ned was directed to the outmost part of the camp, where sun nor wind almost never met. Trees hid the camp, some were tall, some blocking Ned's view, but mostly uneven. 

There, the group were clamped together surrounding a what seemed to be cooking sculleries. 

Ned wondered for a moment if why the group had to endure such less and undesirable situation they were in. If passing the exam was really their goal, then, no matter what they (Hunter's Guild Association) throw at them, they must endure. They should be.
