Marilyn sighed. "I have but it's a long process. They can use the names they like since there is no proof of their existence anywhere else. I'll have to split them up but I can at least keep the twins together because they're obviously siblings."
Claire's heart sunk. They had grown up together and they were getting along so well right now.
"All of them?"
"It's hard to find people willing to take on large groups of kids, especially ones with more challenging behaviors. Aren't these children trained in combat?"
"…most of them are. But they really aren't dangerous if they have orders to follow. There's a hierarchy of sorts and right now it seems like Alex is the pack leader. If he explains that they need to follow the orders of their new parents, it might be okay," Claire hedged.
