Capítulo 118: AvC: To the Peak

The woman stood still, completely silent. Behind her was the dark night with no stars nor moon. Below her feet was still, clear water which showed her reflection in perfect clarity. 

It was quite amusing, the woman thought. There was no light yet she could clearly see herself on the water's surface.

She remembered it clearly back then. 

When she raised her hand to answer the teacher's difficult question which no one in the class dared to answer, in case they get laughed at for answering it wrong. 

The look of awe which her classmates had thrown her way, and the endless praise of the teacher like she was the most treasured student of the whole school. 

She remembered the contentment and satisfaction she had felt at that time. That feeling...was something that was too hard to forget.
