Capítulo 111: A New Companion
After Obsidia, Mei Gui, and I had gotten back from the Avast Mountains, I called each of the four other girls on their phones and told them to meet up in the lobby of the girls dormitories. I didn't specify the reason of this meeting just yet, but despite being skeptical, the four of them all agreed.
"Okay, they are en route," I said, hanging up my final call. "They should be coming downstairs right about now."
Since we had spent quite a bit of time on the Avast Mountains, the girls had all already completed their own quests and had went home to rest. I felt kind of bad calling them all down here this late, but this was something necessary. As I looked at Obsidia, I realized something.

The next chapter will be when the action and main phase of this volume begins, I promise. I know I've broken promises in the past, but, uh...I won't this time...I promise (kek).
What's going to happen, exactly, you ask? Well...heh. You remember that other Midnight Syndicate member at the end of last volume, don't you? Plague - that's his name. He had disguised himself as the grandfather of Xuan Kun and given him an elixir that inadvertently led to his death. Cold and cruel? Sure. But what's more frightening is that his actions were approved of by none other by Xuan Kun's own father, Xuan Yang. He's a nasty character, really.
Now then...let's talk a little about my boring self. I recently started watching Noragami, and the first thing I thought of was the Monogatari series, due to the 'abstract flash' scenes. Not sure if that's the right way to describe them, but the scenes of the eyeballs in Norgami really reminded me of the 'word' scenes in Monogatari. So far, I'm enjoying it (as an aside, I also loved Monogatari quite a bit). Personally, I'm a huge fan of harem done right, but series that aren't harem are enjoyable for me as well (Noragami). If you have any anime recommendations, drop them in the comments. I like the psychological genre, so keep that in mind. c;
