It was not a problem to leave an academy.
It's not a prison after all. Of course, an adults such as the principal will get notified of that, but Vayve was fine with it as nothing could be done about it. He was still a kid, so full independence was out of his reach.
For now.
"It's my first time going outside alone."
"Scared?"
"A little nervous!"
Yuna was with Vayve, so he was rather happy. Being alone in his former life was enough and now, Vayve was that kind of a human who sought accompany unconsciously. That was fine as he began opening himself more to the closest ones.
Of course, what he seeks is a good friendship and Yuna fits that well.
The whole adventure is going to be quite a long one. That's because the servants of Hona Family aren't that deep into Waleria Kingdom's territories and the noble households around them are way too weak to ask for a help.
The strongest are in the capital, and the further away, the weaker.
They were also far away from the border, so the help of people stationing here was also unavailable. The whole situation was rather severe and the servants began running towards a misty mountains.
It was an area of a wild nature, way wilder than most common areas.
Thus, Vayve knew that the situation might be soon way too dangerous, but nothing could be done. There is also a chance that they will just die. That's why, the time was important.
"Since we are outside, the first thing we should do is change our clothes."
"That's right! It will hide our status."
And so, the two kids stomped their way to the closest city to buy a simple clothes. The trip was a smooth one without anyone disturbing them, so Vayve and Yuna got changed quickly, then set out immediately.
In order to reach the place which is close to the borders, Vayve and Yuna had to go by carriage. There were a lot of merchants willing to take them on as two kids didn't take that much place anyway.
Furthermore, it's not common for a kids to go outside while being so 'decisive'.
That's why, a lot of merchants thoughts that they are kids whose background is deep. This would mean that they possess defensive means to protect themselves. Riding on that hope, the merchants accepted Vayve and Yuna while lessening amout of bodyguards.
The bodyguards are mostly adventurers.
Yuna was the one interested the most in the adventurers. Her eyes were looking at the party leader whose body was clothed in a leather armor that seemed tough yet light. It was something rare to see in an academy and even in the capital.
Her curious eyes seemed innocent, but the adventurers were thinking differently.
They could tell that Yuna and Vayve aren't a normal kids, so they were wary and didn't really took any chance to speak up to her.
Though there was also a third kid from the adventurers group.
This kid was two years older than Vayve and Yuna. He was looking like a normal kid and didn't seem to hold any 'battle senses', but it was surely a cover caused by his innocence. This is still a kid after all.
After pestering his 'brother' who was a leader of the adventurer group, the ten years old brat finally stepped forward and greeted Yuna and Vayve! He that bright smile of a brat!
And there was also two teeth lost.
"Hi! I am Markas!"
"Hi, I am Yun-"
"She is Yunyu, and I am Vay."
As Vayve's hand covered Yuna's mouth for a little, he quickly introduced themselves with a different names. The reason for that was obvious! Then, he wiped Yuna's face feigning that it was his intention for the very beginning.
At least this!
Yuna realized this instantly Vayve's hand touched her, calming down was her next action.
She looked at Markas brightly, then ignoring that a little blunder, Yuna came back to herself and so Vayve. Both of them talked with Markas who seemed to be overfriendly kid. He shared his stories about his life which was always on a foot.
From one city to another, Markas was always visiting a cities, but he couldn't even enjoy them.
"It's all for the missions! My bro says it's better to live in the forest instead of the city."
"Really? I thought adventurers have a support of a guild!"
"I don't know... But a guilds had never really looked bad to me! Even that scary guys with muscles were friendly."
Markas was rather adorable brat and he spoke everything innocently. Of course, a contect of the talk was not so innocent and Vayve was recording everything attentively. One by one, he is going to learn more about a chaotic world!
"Ah, I think I know why!"
Then, Yuna popped out! She gasped as if a huge wisdom enter her mind! Being watched by her friend and a new dude, Yuna cleared her throat, then spoke seriously.
"This is because that's how you want things to look for you!"
""...""
She surely heard it somewhere!
The small lady was proud of her words which didn't belong to her at all, then silent expressions of Vayve and Markas just added another layer of victory onto that proud smirking face. Spreading a rightousness and wisdom was always a goal of a knight.
And though Yuna was already stepping away from that path of a knight, it still stood strongly with her!
She is going to pass a good wisdom to every friend of hers!
"You should... look at the world from another p-perspective... I think..."
""You think?""
"I think that's how it goes!"
The kids talked between each other in a friendly manner, then even Vayve found himself speaking more to Markas who didn't hide anything from them. Of course, he was stopped by his brother's gaze each time he tried to say something too personal.
However, it was a good time.
"We have a mission- Ugh... What are your plans?"
"Our plans... Umm."
Yuna herself didn't really know. She just went along with Vayve because of her new path which was annoying her teacher! However, it wasn't really that important, but it caused the lady to be curious too.
Her eyes were directed at Vayve who spoke softly.
"We have to meet someone."
"Ah, that's right."
"Your father?"
"N-no."
