Reaching solid quartz origin essence would've taken Arthur at eight months in his previous life. By that stage, most of the second-tier talents in the Clan had already reached zero quartz origin essence while Randolf had already started to widen the gap between them even further by reaching the peak of Rank 1 Fae Master.
By the time the beast tide came around, Randolf had already broken through to Rank 2, and left all the others in Arthur's generation far behind.
Randolf had made trouble for Arthur in his previous life, and caused quite a few to ostracize him after Randolf did break through to Rank 2.
This was partly due to Arthur's status as a third-tier talent, but also as a way of discrediting the Clan Leader. Randolf had sided with one of the other Elders opposing the Clan Leader, and had been assisted by them heavily during his cultivation.
In this timeline, Randolf had been continuously suppressed by Arthur and caused him to look at Arthur as a potential ally, rather than someone to focus negativity towards.
Arthur himself was strong, even more so than a first-tier talent like Randolf.
If Randolf could side with Arthur, and by extension the Clan Leader, then things in Parachenko Village would play out very differently.
Arthur let out a deep breath of air.
"With solid quartz origin essence, I can use more Rank 1 Fae without having to worry about origin essence expenditure".
As the quality of a Fae Masters origin essence grew, developing from vapour to liquid, and from liquid to solid, both its concentration and quality increased dramatically.
As such, certain Fae's origin essence expenditure decreased as a result. Arthur would be able to utilise the combination between moonsword fae and moonslice fae more effectively, and be able to last a lot longer during battle.
Once Arthur were to attain hadron quartz origin essence, his origin essence sea would become much more active, and he would be able to "overload" certain Rank 1 Fae.
Hadron quartz origin essence didn't possess a physical form like vapour, liquid or solid. Instead, the origin essence within a Fae Master continuously fluxed between all states as if being constantly heated by something.
This "hot" origin essence could, for a certain time, dramatically increase the strength of a Fae's abilities. If overused it could potentially destroy the Fae, but if used correctly, and sparingly, it could change the tide of battle.
Reaching this, would allow Arthur to fight normal Rank 2 Fae Masters, so long as they hadn't reached the solid ruby origin essence stage or higher.
Unless their fae directly countered his own, Arthur would at the very least be able to hold his ground.
..... Of course, if he was facing another thousand year old reincarnate like himself, all bets were off.
"I can fight more properly now. Even though I might have to fight a Rank 3 Fae Master, if I can ambush him in my own territory I might just have a chance....".
Arthur smirked.
'This little geezer thinks that he can follow me around and not get caught? He thinks that he can spy on me and find out my secrets? You're about 900 years too young to even think about fighting against me!'.
Even if Arthur was only a Rank 1 Fae Master, he still possessed the pride and knowledge of a Fae Immortal.
If other reincarnated Fae Immortals were to hear about a Rank 3 Fae Master planning against a reincarnated Fae Immortal, they would laugh at Arthur and ridicule him, stating "why haven't you gotten rid of him by now?".
The Rank 3 Fae Master didn't even have a Bloodline, so why was he acting so arrogantly?
Arthur rolled his eyes and through those thoughts to the back of his mind.
Since he was approaching Rank 2, once he obtained the Boundless Forest Yearning Sovereign Boundary Physique, he would be able to utilise the "mystery" fae that he formed when creating the blood essence gathering tree.
The blood essence gathering tree would be useful once he dealt with this little fly buzzing around him, as well as once the end of the year came around. Absorbing blood and creating Blood Fruits would enhance his physical attributes greatly, especially if they were formed from spirit beasts.
If he could form the Strength Flame Bear Blood Fruit, or even the Agility Water Wolf Blood Fruit, Arthur would probably possess the physical strength of a peak Rank 2 Fae Master, even though he would be just a Rank 2 vapour ruby origin essence Fae Master.
By then, if he used physical enhancement Fae, like the bear arms fae, or the wolf claws fae, wouldn't he be able to kill a Rank 3 relatively easily?
Of course, not all Rank 3 Fae Masters were so easy to kill. But if Arthur wanted to kill this little fly buzzing around him, it wouldn't be a problem.
Arthur continued sitting cross-legged, solidifying his cultivation further.
The book, the <First Tale> sat silently beside him, its old, slightly dilapidated leather cover seemed to hold some sort of sway over Arthur, as well as the world around him.
The history of the First Man and his children were a long and bloody one. It's existence denied by the Myriad Races, but treated by Humanity as a gospel, and a holy artifact regarding cultivation and the Truth of the World.
Arthur knew of countless experts, ones that had died, and ones that had yet to even be born, that had discovered a fraction of the truth of the <First Tale>.
He knew about existences and secrets inheritances that no-one else knew about.
His knowledge about Fae Formula, like the hidden shadow fae, or the serene mirror fae only scratched the surface.
The history and powers of the Thirty Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques were just below surface. And even Arthur didn't know the full abilities of all of the Sovereign Boundary Physiques.
He had the Boundless Forest Yearning Sovereign Boundary Physique in his grasp, and had plans for several other Sovereign Boundary Physiques that had appeared or will appear in the future.
These methods for stealing Sovereign Boundary Physiques hadn't even been discovered yet, and would only be found 700 years into the future, when a Rank 8 Fae Immortal discovered the truth within the <First Tale>.
The secrets of creating the Thirty Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques were all but destroyed by the Myriad Races, seeing as though only Humans could possess them.
Arthur smiled.
"But that doesn't mean traces of it doesn't exist", he muttered.

Arthur's goal was the boundless Thirty Three Heavens! Like any other Fae Immortal before him, all of them ascended with the sole goal of reaching Rank 9 and becoming an unrivalled existence throughout the world!
They wouldn't just be recorded in his history as a Rank 9 Fae Immortal, they would be treated a Kings, Emperors by all of the Myriad Races!
A God with flesh and bone! Walking the Earth just like anyone else, a true man amongst men....
Arthur shook his head.
"If I ever end up like my previous self, content and relaxed with my current self.... I swear I will end my own life".
