With a little saying Ardham walked into the house, feeling dizzy and nauseous, and his slightly sore eyes made it difficult for Ardham to walk.
With his hands as if reaching for something, Ardham stumbled up the stairs step by step, pressing a little on his stomach, which felt nauseous and wanted to vomit.
Ardham continued to walk without knowing where to go, his feet stepped according to his heart, leading him to step into Nadine's room.
Ardham's steps stopped right at the door of Nadine's room, the woman he loved so much, the woman who was able to make his heart break.
With his forehead pressed against the door, and his body unable to stand up anymore, Ardham called out the name Nadine softly.
"Nadine, my little fairy." Ardham's hand stroked Nadine's door. Her eyes were red and watery.
Nadine's door opened, Nadine looked standing there with a face full of sadness and anxiety.
"Nadine." Ardham called softly with a body that immediately swayed. Nadine quickly caught Ardham's nearly falling body.
With full strength, Nadine carried Ardham into her room, and put him on the bed.
Nadine stood transfixed by the bed. Her heart was restless, it really couldn't be denied that with Ardham in her room, the longing in her heart had been relieved, but when he remembered Ardham was married, he too had given her promise to Marvin. Nadine hesitates to approach Ardham, especially Ardham is drunk now.
Nadine looked at Ardham's face, which looked tired and pale.
Nadine slowly raised Ardham's leg hanging onto the bed. Taking off Ardham's shoes and socks, Ardham's feet felt warm. "Could it be that Uncle Ardham has a fever?" Nadine thought. Nadine hesitated to hold Ardham's forehead, her memory returned when Ardham refused as she hugged her, even Ardham's painful words were still vivid in Nadine's mind.
Nadine bit her lower lip, she didn't know what else to do.
"It would be better if I told Aunt's Anna, that uncle is drunk and is now in my room. I don't want Aunty Anna to misunderstand later."
Nadine quickly took her cell phone on the table, and pressed a call to Anna.
"Aunt's Anna."
"Yes Nad, what's is it?"
"Uncle Ardham just came home drunk, and ..."
Nadine hesitated a little to continue.
"And what Nadine?"
"Uncle Ardham seems to have been very drunk, that uncle took the wrong room. Earlier uncle stood in front of my room then passed out, now uncle is in my room, still not conscious. Can you come here? Let me sleep in the guest room later."
"I can't Nad, i'm in town now? Go home tomorrow night, dear."
"Then ... What should i do, Aunty?"
"Take care of your uncle Nadine, give him plenty of water when he wakes up. Let me know if anything happens?"
"Yes Aunty."
Nadine turned off her cellphone, and saw her uncle who was still in a fainting state.
Nadine approached Ardham who was still lying down. her heart churned between her love and hatred.
She hold on to the touch of Ardham's feet, making sure it is still warm or not.
"Still hot."
Nadine sat on the edge of the bed beside Ardham. Nadine touched her uncle forehead while trembling, hopefully his uncle would not be angry if he found out she had touched him.
"It's so hot." Nadine's heart grew anxious. "What do I do now?"
"Nadine." Ardham's weak voice called Nadine, made Nadine startled and immediately stood up from her seat.
"Nadine..Nadine." called Ardham over and over again, it seemed Ardham had a high fever that he was delirious.
Nadine remained unfazed from her place. her hands were sweaty, her heart felt tight as Ardham called her name over and over again.
Nadine wants to come closer, wants to hug, wants to embrace, wants to cry in Ardham's chest, but Nadine becomes afraid and feels traumatized when she remembers Ardham's rejection and insults towards her when she hugged Ardham.
"What should I do now uncle?" Nadine asked, still standing with tears in her eyes.
The tears flowed even more as Ardham woke with difficulty to his feet and staggered to the bathroom and vomited all the contents in his stomach.
Ardham's body felt even more limp, with his body feeling hot, his head began to spin and his eyes began to glow, Ardham's hand tried to reach the handle of the bathroom door, but his body was no longer strong. And...
"Bruk"
"Uncle!" Nadine caught her uncle's body that was about to fall for the second time.
Nadine sobbed,She really could not hold back her heart which was very painful to see the state of Ardham who was now in torment.
In her hug, Ardham's unconscious body was motionless.
"Uncle." wailed Nadine as she cupped Ardham's hot face.
"Uncle, beware uncle .. don't scare me. please." sobbed Nadine hugging Ardham's body tightly.
With all her strength and difficulty Nadine lifted Ardham's body onto the bed.
Nadine took a deep breath, after successfully lifting Ardham's body and laying him on the bed.
Nadine hurried out of bed with sweat streaming down her face. Nadine stepped into the bathroom, cleaned and flushed her uncle vomit that was scattered in the bathroom.
After cleaning it Nadine washed her face which felt sticky with sweat. Carrying a dipper filled with water, Nadine took a small towel in her natural.
Nadine carefully compressed Ardham's forehead and neck with a towel that she had squeezed repeatedly until Ardham's fever began to fall.
Ardham slowly opened his eyes and began to wake up from fainting. Nadine quickly pulled her hand back before Ardham saw it. Ardham looked around the room, it turns out he was in Nadine's room.
He saw Nadine sitting beside him, holding a wet towel. Ardham tried to sit up while holding his slightly dizzy head. But Nadine's hand held it.
"Just lie down first, don't move much. Uncle's fever has not subsided yet." Said Nadine then shifted her seat from bed to chair. Nadine keeps her distance after Ardham regains consciousness.
"Do you hate me Nad?" Ardham asked. Nadine shook her head weakly.
"Look my eyes Nad, do you hate me? Because i hurt your heart." Ardham repeated.
"Answer Nad."
Nadine burst into tears, crying sorrowfully.
"Here, in my heart ... it hurts very much uncle, when uncle rejected me twice, and called me a bad woman. My heart is very sad and hurt." Said Nadine between her tears.
"Forgive me Nad, come here ... hug uncle." Ardham said stretching his hands, with eyes so gentle.
Nadine got up from her seat, and hug Ardham chest that she had been missing.
"Uncle, ... sob, ... sob ..." Nadine sobbed in Ardham's arms.
Her uncle's affection had returned for her.
Ardham stroked Nadine's hair with love, he kissed Nadine's head with a million love in his heart that was still neatly arranged in his heart.
"Don't cry anymore dear, forgive me who hurt you. Uncle promised never to hurt you again, i promise." Ardham's voice was soft, wiping Nadine's tears, and held her back in his arms.
Like a dry flower drenched in water, Nadine's heart felt calm in her uncle's arms.
"My heart is so weak uncle, too weak to hate you." whispered Nadine's heart.
