Capítulo 2: 2. Deceit
After the talk with Katsuo I made my way downstairs and took a seat at the dining table where mom had put a plate of curry.
"yum curry" I said as I started to eat.
"So, what where you and your boyfriend talking about" Shiro teases.
"Very funny, you know he's not my boyfriend," I say.
"So, what about you Shiro, do you have anyone?" I say Smiling and pocking her sister.
"Maybe but since when have you cared about my love life?" says Shiro.
"Oh come on so your saying that I can't," I say.
"No, it's just not your thing"
"Well it is now," I say
"So, what's his name?" I say while tickling Shiro.
"Ok, ok I'll tell you just stop tickling me," says Shiro barely holding it together.
"Girls stop playing at the table you'll break something," says mom.
""Sorry mom"" replied Shiro and I.
"So, you said you'll tell me, who is he?" I say.
"Well he's not my boyfriend but I like him," says Shiro blushing.
"Aww you're turning bright red, so why don't you ask him out?" I ask.
"Because I don't think he feels the same way I do," says Shiro with a disappointed look on her face.
"And I don't want to ruin our friendship if he says no"
"Oh, I would try to give you advice, but I don't even know how to help, plus I have no experience with guys," I say.
"But you have Katsu" replies Shiro
"You know I'm not dating him," I say.
"Yeah I know but I'll like to see that would turn out," says Shiro smiling ear to ear.
After eating everything off my plate I took my dishes to the kitchen and headed to her room.
"Akari where are you going?" says Shiro.
"I thought I'll go to bed early" I replied.
"Aww, your boring," says Shiro crossing her arms.
"Are you ok, you never go to bed this early?" asked dad.
"Yeah, just a little tired for some reason," I say yawning.
"Ok, good night," says my farther as I make my way to the stairs.
"Night dad" I replied. I opened my door, went straight to my bed and flopped onto it, jeez acting is exhausting I don't know how they do it in the movies, I mean I never use to go to bed early, I say as I roll on my back.
"It's only been a day and my secrets already gotten out, maybe I can get some dirt on Katsuo and get him to keep my secret, but he didn't sound like he was going to say anything to anyone, oh well I worry about it tomorrow" I yawned as I fell asleep.
During my sleep, I saw various memories flash before my eyes, like what happens when you're about to die, but these memories weren't mine, they were Akari's memories, then they begin to get fast and fast then all of a sudden I jolt awake, then falls off my bed.
"Ow, that hurt," I said, I can hear voices coming from down stair's I turned and looked at the clock on the wall, but its six am, I sneakily made my way downstairs to see both my parents talking, I quickly hid behind a wall nearby.
"Hina was acting a bit strange today don't you think?" said mom.
"Don't worry it's probably just a puberty thing" replied dad.
"Yeah but I'm worried about her," says mom.
"How about if she acts up again then we investigate?"
"Anyway, I have to go to work now, love you Hun"
"Love you too sweety" replies Mom as she kisses dad on the cheek, eww, old people romance, I make my way up stair's and into my bedroom again, so there starting to suspect me? maybe I'm not as good of an actor than I thought I was
I wish I had that dream earlier, then at least I would've known a bit about myself, well it's too late now, all I can do is not screw up more than I already have.
I laid in bed for a while thinking about the memories I dreamed about, so I'm a nineteen-year-old and applying for college, I hope she doesn't get in, I don't want to drop out of college again, well at least I have decent friends, I thought as she drifted off to sleep.
"Ow, ow," I said as I was being shaken around.
"Wake up, it's time to wake up!" shouted Shiro trying to wake me up.
"Ow, what time is it?" I ask.
"Nine am, you just wouldn't wake up" replied Shiro.
"You have that college thingy today", oh yeah, I find out if I get accepted or not today.
"Ok, I'm awake, you can stop shaking me now," I say.
"Just checking," says Shiro, I make my way towards the mirror to see my hair almost standing up straight, wow I didn't know hair could get this bad.
"It looks like you got electrocuted" giggled Shiro, after a while of goofing around with my sister, I had a shower to get rid of my bed head then headed downstairs to the kitchen, hmmm what's that smell, I thought as she followed the scent to where mom was cooking breakfast.
"What are you cooking?" I ask.
"Pancakes, would you like some?" asked mom.
"Yes please," I replied.
"What do you want on them?" asked mom.
"Syrup please" I reply
"Ok it'll be ready in a second," says mom as I take a seat at the dining table, Shiro was also sitting at the dining table shoving pancakes into her mouth.
"So ladylike," I say sarcastically.
"Num-num y-yeah, yeah if I don't hurry, I'll be late num-num for school" Shiro replied with pancakes almost falling out her mouth.
"I see you got rid of you bed head," said Shiro.
"It wasn't easy, but I did it" I replied with a smile.
"Anyway, I better head off to school now," says Shiro as she's getting up and grabs her bag.
"Bye" I yell as Shiro jogs out the door, I better get going myself I thought as I finish up breakfast, I finish up breakfast and go upstairs to get ready.
After thirty minutes of deciding on what to wear, I finally chose a grey shirt and jeans with tears at the knees.
