"... The event starts at 9 AM but your session is at 11 AM. You could come before that."
"Do I have to bring anything else?" Although Akari had mentioned the details after she accepted the invitation the other day, Shouko still jotted it down on her planner.
"Just bring yourself," Akari laughed, waving her hand playfully at Shouko, "As long as you come at the right time, I don't have anything else to ask of you."
It was Wednesday, the day before the storytelling event. Akari asked to meet Shouko thus the latter invited her to White Rose. Old Daizo welcomed their arrival with a smile before telling them he tried a new recipe befitting for autumn, spiced sweet potato latte cake.
"You must be exhausted with all the preparation needed," Shouko pointed out as she looked at the slightly haggard expression of her friend, "Finish your cake and quickly go home. You should rest early tonight."
I read a sad news today. This incident happened in my country.
A woman lost her memories due to an accident, she couldn't remember her husband and children. A part of her skull cracked and she turned aggressive because of it. Reading of what her husband shared in the news rendered me speechless.
I hope the family would recover soon, all of them, either physically or mentally.
