Brion knew that there is no way for humans to use any kind of magical energy as they do not have the needed material and the organ for it. In the end, magic is not something that can be used without any kind of outside interference or evolutional changes.

The magic is usable by the planets of other humans because in their world.

The magical energy in the air and the magical energy feels the people living on the planet from the moment they have born. Not only them. The magical energy already was feeding their mother and father before even they have born. It is a combination of evolution and genetic progress as well as soul power that lets humans use magical powers.

On the earth, such things did not exist, so for humans the magic and other things always stayed as a matter of "fantasy" and not real or the storybooks.
