Capítulo 54: Family of traitors

As Mei Lijuan watched him jogging back to retrieve his car it suddenly occured to her that  this was the first time she was seeing him on casual wears... could that be why they were both being so agreeable tonight? She wondered with a smile. 

"Why are you smiling?" Yun asked the moment he stopped the car in front of her and went around to help her open the door. 

"Hmm.. It's the first time I'm seeing you in casual wears. I actually wondered if you slept in your suit." Lijuan said with a teasing smile making Yun's lips curve despite his wanting to remain aloof. 

"Well, I guess it's a good thing you've gotten your answer. Why did you decide to walk earlier? Especially with that big stuff you were carrying?" Yun asked as he drove off. 

"I actually didn't realize it was that far. When Jinhai had dropped us home the previous day it had seemed pretty short and fast. I should have known better." She said with a self derogatory smile.
