Clarence does not glance at them as he could already picture what was happening but he did look at the younger couple and her hard-set gaze softened. "Gabriel, you are a wonderful son so I am happy that you finally look alive. Amelia, you are the one that makes him happy so I do hope that you will accept a small gift from us?"
"You have already given me so much but if you already have it prepared then I will accept it. Thank you for your consideration." Amelia bowed her head and sat back up slowly.
"Do not bow too much right now. I can tell that it is causing you grief. I know that you are very polite. It is ingrained into you but you are going to be one of my daughters and as your doctor, I am going to ask that you do not do it so often in the house." Clarence got up and lifted a package that was wrapped and brought it to Amelia. "Welcome to the family, Amelia."
