Starfire had been spending money like water recently, and although their income was substantial, their expenses were even greater. If they carried on this way, it would restrict Starfire's Array.

But Li Yao didn't want to waste time making money, so he came up with this plan on the fly. It was like killing several birds with one stone.

The fellow they were about to cheat was no simpleton, having existed for an incredibly long time. Whether they could achieve their goal was uncertain, so they couldn't leave any loose ends. Regardless of the success, they absolutely couldn't let that NPC find any clues that he was Prairie Fire.
