Capítulo 143: Annoyed

She forced the food in her mouth as she ate dinner while she try her best to ignore the mocking glance she casually receive from all direction.

"May I sit here?" The tone was soft and gentle making her raise her attention to the man she did not notice was now standing opposite the table.

"Sure, I don't mind." She replied casually. Her gaze lowered to the table then to the food she half eaten.

"Who died?"

The question made her raise her head to Azrael Caine Raine who was now occupying the seat in front of her.

She was expecting him to give her the mocking glare she received from everyone tonight but it shocked her when it was a heart melting kindness in a form of a smile she caught a glimpse of.

He was never known to be the kind type. The Queen's right hand had always been known as cold and aloof. Yet tonight, he let her see a side of him which he never once allowed anyone to have a glimpse.
