For the rest of the meal we ate in silence while internally I was using my symbiote to make a psychic connection with the space stone. When it sent out a burst at my symbiote from touching it directly, I felt the connection slide into place before returning it to it's secure chambers.
After that I put it away next to the mind stone in the staff. Fury showed up towards the end of the meal and asked where the stones were. I told him. "I have them. They're in a safe place until you all can decide what to do with them."
Thor spoke up after drinking. "The space stone is required on Asgard to repair the bridge so that Asgard may stay in contact with earth. As for the mind stone, I do not think it wise to have so many stones so close together."
I nodded. "I agree but the time and space stone have been on earth since your father hid the tesseract here in the early fourteen hundreds. The time stone was here even longer and had protected this planet since before your great grandfather was born and built Asgard."
He didn't refute that so I sighed. "The space stone can go back with Thor and Loki to Asgard. They can protect it there or send it off after they've used it to repair their own portals. As for the mind stone-"
Tony perked up and so did Fury. I sighed. "It can remain with Shield and under constant armed guard. If not then I'll take it and hide the damn thing off world myself. I'll design helmets and a room so that it may be studied but if you fail to keep it safe, I'll take it away. No arrogant idiot of a scientist or dumb greedy guards. If it's to remain here we cannot risk it being exposed and signaling the powers of this universe of it's presence."
Fury nodded with a smile. "I'll make sure to make a note of that."
I raised an eyebrow. "You'd better Director. I may look human but I assure you I am not. I have no patience for politics and I don't play games with the lives of those I care about. If anything happens, anything at all, I'll hold you personally responsible for it. You can ask Thor what happens when you piss my mind off."
Thor choked on his sandwich and shook his head. "You don't. They tend to wipe out worlds for food and fun. To piss a Klyntar off would be begging for a fate wise then death."
I hummed and waved a hand as two cases appeared in front of them, clearly letting them know what was in each one. "The cases are designed to contain them. It's made entirely out of Gradium and spelled with rune work that would give Odin himself a headache. If anyone tries to steal them, the cases will suck the life force out of them and use it to power itself. Be very careful whom you allow to handle them. Thor, I'll send you and your brother home tomorrow when my body has rested."
He nodded and turned to Tony. "It looks like I'll be taking you up on that offer for a place to stay after all."
Sighing I stood up and kissed Natasha's hand. "I'll see you on the morrow love."
I turned to the rest of them. "I'll see you all around I guess."
I teleported home and nearly fell over. The stress really was to much. Even with a Deadpool healing factor and the body equivalent of a god's, it was a lot all for one day. I grunted. "Leo!"
He orbed in and asked. "What happened to you?"
I chuckled. "Turn on the news some time. I need some healing done and it may take you the rest of the night alone. Call the others."
He did so and they healed me while watching the replay of the battle of New York. It still took them several hours to get all the fatigue toxins out of my body. By the time I hit the bed, I passed out. I woke up and found Natasha laying beside me asleep and sighed in contentment.
When she woke up half an hour later, I made her breakfast in bed. We laid in bed picking at waffles, strawberries and a full English breakfast platter besides. Then when our hunger was abated we indulged in satisfying another hunger all together.
It wasn't until noon that we made our way to Stark's and from there, Shield. There we ran into a snag of the world security council variety. They didn't want to release Loki and wanted to in fact keep the tesseract as well.
I told them and Fury plainly. "Loki and Thor are taking the tesseract back to Asgard where it will be used to repair their own portal device. They protect nine planets and this is not up for discussion. Loki is as much a victim as anyone affected by this last battle including your own people. He needs help and they can provide it to him. Again, this is not up for discussion. The infinity stones are not toys to be played with by any of you."
The leader it seemed asked. "And why should we do as you ask?"
My body went rigged as I growled. "Because I wasn't asking. This is what is going to happen, you don't have the say or power to stop it and if you fire another nuke at us I'll ram it down your throat before slaughtering whatever country you represent. I am not Loki nor any other Asgardian, I don't have a weak bone in my body, I should know, I made it. Now piss off before I decide your hearts would pare well with my beer."
I turned and Fury cut the feed. "Are you sure that was wise?"
I snorted. "I've no patience for politics or the greed of fools. Besides, a nuke wouldn't even tickle me. I've been hit by a meteor that broke a mountain under me and walked away. Your fancy technology isn't enough for me to fear them."
He shrugged. "And what about the other Avengers?"
I sighed. "The Avengers can't answer to a council of greedy politicians and do their job right. We must remain neutral of outside influences so that we can protect everyone equally. They may not agree with our methods. But it must be so. The world is bigger than one country or even the council of them you answer to. Your work must be in the shadows, the Shield to protect this planet while we must work in the light."
He agreed and sighed. "Then let's hope we both are doing the right thing."
I shrugged. "Speaking of which. While Shadow was upgrading your systems, it found a file on a project called sword?"
He nodded. "It was supposed to be our counterpart. A space program to protect the planet in destroying all threats that come through space."
I sighed. "In that case, we need to talk. I've an idea to help get it off the ground and out of the scrap pile."
I handed him a file and told him. "Read my offer and be sure that if you sign it, you do so in blood. It's a magical contract and one you'll want to be sure before signing."
He took it and I sighed. "It's open-ended so you can come to me any time with an acceptance or any questions."
He nodded and I portaled us to the others where they were collecting Loki from some unconscious guards in a secure maximum security facility. I portaled them to DC where I then opened a portal to Asgard. "It's been fun Thor Odinson, may we meet again on the field of battle against our foes."
He clasped my arm before taking his brother and the case with him to Asgard through the opened portal. After they were through, we all went our separate ways. I had a lot to do and precious little time to go about it. Natasha and Hawkeye still officially worked for Shield so they had their own work to do and Tony has to repair and rebuild his tower.
Bruce went with me to Grim and associates to clear himself of all charges and make sure Ross was given the shaft for lying to him about the project he was supposed to be working on that made him the hulk to begin with. The blame for those killed by the Hulk's rampage would be left at Ross's feet.
As he was now in control of himself even in Hulk form, he had his own meditation practices he needed to study and since every part of him radiated gamma radiation, he was officially celibate until I could make a work around or those he sleeps with takes nanite pills before hand to keep them safe.
Those same nanite pills wouldn't work on him unfortunately but he didn't mind to much now that he'd soon be a free man. After seeing him off with Grim to clear him of any wrongdoing and get his official story to the press, I headed to work where I was having hundreds of millions donated to the cleanup effort and making sure Stark did the same.
After a few days of straight business, I took a trip to Nepal. There I teleported from mountain to mountain for nearly two weeks before finding a village high up and well hidden. I walked to their front gate and looked around before noticing the people were all staring at me.
Smiling, I waved and continued to walk through until a man with no eyes teleported in front of me saying. "You're not supposed to be here!"
He grabbed me and tried to teleport but my mimicry power stopped him as I became immune to his powers. It was then that I realized my powers that were mimicked were used as magical abilities. That explained a lot during the battle of New York.
I'd been exhausting myself even with the energy blasts from my eyes. Only the mind arts seemed immune as they ran of mental energy instead of magical energy and my mind was linked to the Phoenix Force. He frowned and came back alone. "How is this possible?"
I chuckled. "I've abilities of my own that prevent me from being teleported against my will. Tough luck that. Anyways, I'd like to meet with your leader."
"And a meeting you shall have. It's not often that a famous inhuman comes to Afterlife."
I looked to the voice and saw an Asian woman who looked to be in her mid to early forties. I smiled. "While I have the potential to be inhuman, I haven't yet gone through the process. I was hoping you and your people here can help with that."
She frowned. "If you haven't gone through the process then how do you know you have the potential to be inhuman?"
I chuckled. "Tell you what, I'll make a deal with you. You let me try it and if I succeed, I'll tell you the how's of it. If I fail, you lose nothing. After all, no one knows I'm here. As far as the rest of the world is concerned, I'm in my labs working on the next big invention."
She frowned and the blind man spoke. "There's a line, you'll have to wait your turn just like everybody else."
I snorted. "Then I might as well leave and find my own path evolution. There are other Diviner's out there and I know where a certain ancient Kree city is that has a temple for the process. Or I can simply force the Kree into giving me what I want by telling them about you lot."
Whispers and words of fear spread as they knew the Kree had tried to be rid of them before. Jiaying walked up and grabbed me by the throat growling. "No one threatens the safety of these people!"
I smirked as she tried then failed to absorb my lifeforce. I chuckled. "Oops, did I say my powers make me immune to teleportation? I meant they make me immune to all powers and abilities. Nice try though."
I gripped her hand and forced her to release me before sending her a telepathic message. (Now, I'm still willing to deal with you people. All I want is one crystal and in exchange I'll tell you a way to spread your evolution throughout the world with what little amounts of crystals you have. Fair enough?)
She frowned before saying out loud. "Perhaps we are being to hasty in our judgement. If such a high profile person like you becomes one of us, then perhaps we won't have to fear the humans finding us. Our safety may be secured for future generations."
I nodded. "Perhaps."
She and Gordon showed me the way to her rooms and there she said. "How do we achieve what you've promised?"
I smirked. "First the crystal then the details. I'd be happy to tell you once I know you aren't going to screw me over and I've no reason to screw you over since we both know you can't hope to match me with only those in Afterlife."
She sighed. "So be it, but if you cheat us, your loved ones will pay the price."
I shrugged. "Yeah, good luck with that. Crystal please."
She opened a drawer and pulled out a Terrigen crystal and I smiled. "Although it looks impure, I can fix that easily."
I brought it to my hand telekinetically to her surprise. I stored it inside my inner world before telling her and Gordon. "Dump all the crystals in the ocean where the fish boats go out. The crystals will dissolve and the fish and other sea life will absorb them. The humans feed on the sea life and voila, instant Inhumans all over the planet as the crystals change and become apart of their ecosystems. They won't be able to stop it either."
She was extremely surprised. "That's it? And what happens if that doesn't work and all the crystals are used up?"
I chuckled. "Then you know where I'll be. But let me warn you know, I don't take kindly to threats against my loved ones, do so again and I'll eat every inhuman on the planet as they pop up. Trust me, I'm immortal and a very patient man."
I erased their minds of me and put in a Ten Rings leader called the Manderin in my place as far as they were concerned. I left them without a trace and went home. There I studied the crystal and purified the obelisk metal out of it before learning to grow more.
With a smile on my face a month later, I broke a crystal inside an airtight vibranium encompassed room. I felt my body being cocooned as I breathed in the mist. It was in a word, enlightening.
I felt as if I'd been reborn as that part of me that I'd taken for Daisy Johnson, aka Skye, aka future Quake, evolved into what felt like my natural state. I could feel the earth below me, humming and while the busted mirror I'd brought in showed I hadn't changed physically, I still heard and felt differently.
I could hear the natural vibrations of the world and with that came the connection I felt with it. When I then used my own power to augment my new ability, I felt an even greater connection and it was as if even the air and space, all of the universe was vibrating on a frequency only I could hear.
I went inside my own inner galaxy and practiced there. The results were as devastating as it could be even if I were in Hulk form. The super continent I was on over a random world inside me, cracked and sank, causing massive tidal waves as water flooded over and the planet nearly broke in half.
Understanding this wasn't my peak yet and that I needed practice and control, I devoted the next several months to learning said control. The only time I came out was when Fury took the deal after a regrowing Hydra tried to re-infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D.
That and when Natasha came to visit or go on dates with me as well as while I met with Stark about the cleanup effort and made donations. I'd had to ward of reporters and government employees that insisted my products shouldn't be bought or that the patents I owned shouldn't be upheld.
After going for the Supreme Court, I'd won my case because as far as they were concerned I was a mutant but I also paid a shit ton of taxes, made tons of yearly donations and more importantly I was powerful enough to stop an invading space army to protect their sorry asses.
I told them plainly in court. "If the laws you all created over the centuries aren't even upheld by your own people and as such me and my kind become persecuted you all may find that the next invasion you face, you'll face alone! I've fought, bled and helped all of humanity both in the labs and on the battlefield. It's true I'm a powerful mutant. I've been around a long time and let me tell you now, mutants have always been a natural part of the human population."
"We have always been apart of your histories, fighting mythic battles, saving lives and becoming children's fairy tales. But the sickest beings I've ever met are the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Dr. Mengele and Johann Schmidt. All of which were human I might add. So before you go persecuting an entire ethnic group because of fear and prejudices, I'd like to remind you that we've been here since the dawn of man and we'll be here until we and humans die off because like it or not people, we may be mutants, but we are still human!"
My voice resonated with the entire court room and from the feeling I was getting was that the tension had been cut. "As my closing statement, I'd like to ask everyone, here and at home, whether they have it in them to persecute us like your ancestors did to the Native Americans, the African slaves and what the Nazi's did to the Jews. Because if this is where the future of humanity is headed, then the world doesn't need hero's, it needs to be rid of us all like the dinosaurs and find a new race to be the dominant one. Perhaps the dogs may take our place and have more compassion for their fellow dog than we have it in us even after all we've learned and done over the centuries."
I sat back down and a flurry of shouts shook the court room while I rubbed my face, weary of the beast that was the greed of mortals. The court ruled in my favor albeit close to going either way. I was officially recognized as a US citizen and their laws applied to me like any other US citizen.
The UN was next as my company was global and it effected the world. In the end I had to repeatedly point out that I made cures and healing devices as well as protection vests for all the police forces that weren't dictatorships. They were more than willing to continue said work as I was clearly only a positive influence and even Tony had come to speak on my behalf with Steve.
Steve spoke of me training him in martial arts before he ever became Captain America and how I proved to him that those down on their luck can change their fortunes so long as they persevered.
Tony spoke up me making cures and billions of dollar donations to helping the world, third world countries included, before he ever put on a suit of armor. He spoke of the millions and potentially billions of lives I'd not only saved, but ensured a better quality of life for. How is singlehandedly ended world hunger and thirst as well as actively prevented natural disasters like tsunamis and earthquakes with my technology.
He spoke of literally being the largest factor in cleaning up our environment including the landfills that were now being emptied and turned into natural fertilizer to be used for regrowing forests humans have cut down.
I'd nearly completely wiped out the chance of a natural global warming crisis and was even now donating all my spare funds to help repair New York from the battle. Not because I had to, but because I felt it was my duty and his, which he himself had admitted to wanting to ignore but was forced because I got onto his ass about it, to donate with me and send aid as well as cleanup workers to fix the city.
The vast majority except countries like Latveria and North Korea who were dictatorships in principle, voted in my favor. With my stock and company safe, I'd thanked Stark by helping him go through the healing process with the nanites before helping to see him through the initial super soldier serum upgrade.
The Vita rays and the serum had worked like a charm and although he was a bit leaner than Steve, the strength, speed and endurance was there. I then gave Steve a shield made of Gradium, painted and all. It had all the same abilities as his old one but it was spelled to be indestructible and would always return to him when he wanted it to like Thor's hammer.
It too could fly back to him at extreme speeds if necessary. Over night I'd become the world's most famous and hated mutant. The mutants looked up to me but the hate groups sure as hell didn't. Luckily I'd killed all those who'd been involved or knew about the Sentinel program years ago.
I'd still checked every now and the. Just in case but it looked to be a dead idea. As for the hate groups, Grim would weed them out and alert authorities if they attempted anything. I learned when I came out of training after the fifth month was up I learned of Tony's battle with the Mandarin and all that fun stuff.
He sent me a vial of the extremis extract and I went in search of Chan Ho Yin and found him working as a dish washer as well as on Shield's radar. I slipped him some nanites that studied his special blood platelets inside his body without removing them.
I then goaded him into throwing a fire ball at my symbiote whom pretended to be a common stream thug looking to stab someone. It had mimicked his powers and absorbed them, though leaving his immunity and now dormant power still in place from what the nanites reported.
It had only drawn out and sealed away the rest. He fell unconscious and I left him at his place before disappearing in the nite. The nanites dissolved into his natural body waste and he was left safe. I on the other hand had all the knowledge and even magical powers he'd had before.
His power had been mutation based but it seemed my mimicking and absorbing power didn't discriminate. I wiped up a safe batch of immunity and fire retardant platelets before sending all the information to Stark who could decided for himself what to do with it.
After that I headed to the moon through a portal and found the hidden city of inhumans there. I mentally took control of their population and had them all attack me. After absorbing and mimicking their powers, they were humans as well now. I gathered all the inhuman ones together before busting a couple crystals and waiting for them to awaken again.
When they did I took the leftover cocoon pieces and dropped them in the sun before erasing their minds and returning to earth. Only two had any decent powers and they were a pulsating beam like cyclops had given me only through a different body part and the extreme voice amplification that basically turned my voice into a lethal weapon.
I'd had to deactivate all the active powers like the constant voice modulating to prevent any unfortunate disasters. Once again my powers varied so much I'd made fruits of them and only kept the immunity. My mind realities numbered just over a dozen now and I seemed to be in need of more abilities anyways so it was fine.
Of all the abilities I'd gained so far, the augmented lifeforce suction from Jiaying was by far the most helpful to my future plans as it could literally suck the essence, lifeforce and now even magic, out of beings. That meant I'd be able to drain more thoroughly now gods easily before I ate them.
I was interviewed a few times and offered all mutants and powered people honest jobs all across the world at my company. I offered on the job training and to pay for any further schooling for those that wished for different positions along with a safe environment where they could work and gain control of their abilities to keep from hurting themselves or others.
I specifically said all those with gifts to avoid saying mutants or specifying. The work came with health benefits and even a safe place to stay if they wished to move in at each location or help with work visa's if they wished to transfer to different branches.
The world governments grumbled about it but I told them it was merely an offer to help those who were persecuted and feared reprisals for being born different and that they were free to match my offers or do better if they felt I was being too bold. That shrank the vast majority of them back and I went on to promise my company didn't require you to admit to being a mutant or otherwise as there were varying powered people out there.
All it required was a standard psychological evaluation and your dedication to working hard to improve yourself and the company. There would be no mention of whom had powers or not either way.
Leo and the rest were there to help me weed out the bad intentioned and spies while we hired them all and as per my orders, Grim and Associates as well as the renamed Grim Protection industries, matched my offers as well.
Stark industries went ahead and joined in and we created a movement of sorts to help all powered people. Stark was busy working on a makeshift one for all pill that wouldn't require a Vita ray chamber for the transformation but Pepper kept him up to date on what I was doing as he was determined to mimic me for good deeds.
She was acting CEO and as such she had the final say when she approved it. With the image of a specific item in mind, I opened a portal to one of shield's secret lockup's. There I found a black monolith and orbed into the chamber next to it. After a few moments it swallowed me and spit me out onto a desolate barren planet.
I sensed two lifeforces on the planet and orbed to the pure human one. In a cavern below the planet's surface I found the sleeping male human. I put him in my inner galaxy before reaching as deep as I could, down into the center of the planet, and twisted the liquid metals as well as sending a super massive quake following it down.
I opened a portal back to earth and hopped through just as the core of the planet exploded, wiping out an entire planet in one go. I barely had time to close the portal as it blew to kingdom come. I opened a portal back and only saw meteor sized rocks and space dust. Nothing had survived as even both the two moons had cracked and exploded, taking the first inhuman, Hydra, with it.
I dropped off the man out of time in DC with a duffle full of cash and a letter that read: Do what you want. Live life and try not to think about the past:)
I'd checked the monolith and found that stone remained in tact but no longer changed in intervals. Whatever tidal forces allowed it to open said portal no longer existed. When I returned to the lab I was surprised to see Director Fury there.
He asked. "Do I want to know why you broke into a top secret base and used an artifact Shield is responsible for keeping secure?"
I shrugged and leaned up against the table. "Several thousand years ago an alien race called the Kree came to earth and experimented on humans. Mixing their blood with them and trying to force an evolution they themselves were once given by a different race as an experiment. The first success was on a human that evolved with powers called Alveus. Only, they called him Hive, but you'd know him better as Hydra."
He stilled. "What are you getting at?"
I held up a hand and sighed. "Let me finish."
He nodded and I continued. "The Kree continued their experiments until they left, ultimately considering it a failure as far as I know. They left the enhanced humans, or rather Inhumans as they called themselves, behind. A failed experiment of sorts. I'm unaware of who did what but I was left with the impression that there was an uprising."
I took a second before saying. "They designed these inhumans like an army. And every army needs a leader. Hive was meant to be theirs. He had the power to control and infect Inhumans and feed off of humans like a swarm of cell sized piranhas to replicate more of himself to control the Inhuman army. They rebelled and used Kree technology to build a portal."
Fury caught on. "And this monolith is that portal?"
I nodded. "You see, they couldn't destroy him head on so they banished him. Unfortunately he'd begun a following amongst the humans who later heard the story and wanted power. They stole the monolith from it's burial place and began sending sacrifices through so Hive who would later be known as Hydra, could feed and stay alive indefinitely."
He grimaced and nodded. "So they've been sacrificing people for thousands of years then?"
I sighed. "More to the point, it worked. The creature Alveus later became was like a god to them and their cult. Prophesied to return and raise those that brought him back to take over the world."
Fury grimaced and I continued. "When I heard such rumors back in the day I dismissed them as another dumb religion. But the thing is, they viewed him as a god and I was created with a particular defect in mind. I crave the flesh and lifeforce of gods."
Fury nodded. "Thor said as much."
I shook my head. "I doubt even he understands my hunger fully. It drives me to seek them out, feast on them and end the gods once and for all. I am Knull's final revenge against all those that banded together against him. He made me from himself, not just in his image, but from the wound they dealt him. And as such my hunger is as great as his was for all life, only with a more specific type of life in mind."
"Like a roller coaster you'd have to be at a certain level in power to qualify. Unfortunately when Shadow notified me of the monolith being in Shield's possession, something I'd only thought rumor and hopes of a cult from five thousand years ago, I went looking and found myself disappointed. I sensed the creature there and it was no more powerful then any other enhanced human. It just had a special ability to control other Inhumans, so to prevent it from ever getting away, I blew up the planet it was on and effectively shut off the portal for good. It won't activate ever again and the being known as Hydra is dead."
He frowned. "Why blow up the planet? Aren't you powerful enough to simply kill it in that case?"
I held up two fingers. "Two reasons. One, the body I made included Inhuman DNA and neither of us want to find out if he could control me if I got that close."
He grimaced and nodded so I continued. "And two, you're well aware by now I can mimic abilities I'm attacked with right?"
He nodded and I sighed. "Well I don't particularly want the ability to strip an entire percentage of the population of their free will. Not that I couldn't do so now under certain circumstances anyway, but then, so can you under those same circumstances. Anyway, too much temptation leads to dark thoughts and all that Jazz."
"Suffice it to say he warranted the planet being blown up so I used the Inhuman power I have, the ability to generate quakes, along with a mutant power I gained, the ability to control metals and magnetic elements, to disrupt the planet's core to go critical before I portaled out. I reopened a portal back and found the planet no better than chunks of space rocks and the two moons it had were destroyed."
"I sensed no lifeforce and as such I assumed Hydra was dead, but I'm a thorough bastard so I checked the monolith in case he came through on your end just in case. It turns out the monolith no longer works as a portal and he's gone for good I'm happy to report."
Fury nodded. "In that case I thank you for your candor and for telling me the full story. I think I'm this case I'll sleep a bit easier from now on."
I rolled my eyes. "We both know that isn't true. Though I should tell you, I'm aware of Tahiti and I'm not impressed."
He grimaced and I sighed. "Though I do understand in Coulson's case. Thank you for that by the way. He didn't need to die for our sake. Only Natasha knows and we've agreed to keep it a secret for now."
He nodded and sighed. "In that case I guess it's time I told you the real reason I stopped by."
He held out the contract and I took it before noting it was signed in his own blood like requested. I nodded and put it away before saying. "You'll need to step down as acting director of Shield as you know."
He nodded. "It's already done. I've recommended Agent Hill for the job until Coulson is recovered and is ready in her opinion. The council has agreed she's an excellent candidate. Though they're very interested in why I've chosen to step down, I haven't told them yet."
I shrugged. "That's up time you but I should warn you now, you will not have any oversight. You cannot, not with a job this important. I've already pooled together the vast majority of my fortune and dedicated it to this program in case you agreed. Now it's time to show you what I'm truly offering."
I tapped his forehead and took him inside my inner galaxy. I told him as we floated in a vast space. "Relax, all gods have realms of their own, this one is mine. The laws of physics are bent to my will here. Nothing can harm you here I swear it."
It didn't help him to relax but then he also didn't panic. He asked. "What are we doing here?"
I smiled and said. "Showing you your fleet of war ships of course."
At my words two hundred highly advanced Lantean war ships appeared. Ten Destiny class gate ships and five city ships. He's eye bugged out as I sent the information on each one and the comparison to the technology out there now in this universe.
He was nearly hyperventilating when I spoke again. "I'm well aware that absolute power corrupts absolutely. This is also why I insisted on blood contracts as you can understand."
He nodded and I continued. "You're to build an army, one that under your lead will protect this planet from all hostile alien forces that attempt to attack it. This army must consist of super soldiers, Inhumans and mutants. You need their power to generate a solid base of power to the outside warring galactic empires. While this technology is more advanced then anything they have, in the end it's just a more advanced gun and shield. It's the super powered individuals that will sign similar contracts that can and will make the real show of force out there amongst the stars."
He gulped before saying. "You really do have earth's best intentions in mind."
I sighed. "I like earth Fury. It's been my home for longer than humans have been around and I hope to keep it safe from those who would pillage and destroy it. It's the gods that I have a problem with and only them to the point of what Knull did to me."
He grimaced it nodded in understanding. "I'm that case I'm damn glad I accepted this job but what was that about gate systems?"
I smiled. "Think of what the Asgard can do and imagine being able to do the same to any planet with a gate on it in any galaxy out there. You won't be able to go into the Black galaxy I was born into with it because of all the black holes there, but you can take a ship and go there as you well know now."
I sent him all he needed to understand and know about the job he was undertaking as well as the limitations of the technology. When I finished, I took him out and back to the lab we'd started in. There I have him a ring. "This has all the contracts in it that you'll ever need as it can generate more and adjust them as needed to your thoughts. It can also allow you to read the minds of those holding the contracts so long as you think about it. Be weary of telepaths and supremely powered individuals. As for your own powers, here."
I held up a hand and gave him a few select powers of telekinesis, telepathy, super strength, speed and endurance as well as an insane healing factor and when I finished I told him. "Stark is stockpiling completed super soldier serums. I've adjusted them not to work on mutants and Inhuman candidates or ones gone through the change. The thing you have in cold storage classified as an obelisk is actually a diviner, a Kree activation device for Inhuman DNA. Be careful whom you turn and use it on as any without Kree DNA will die."
He grunted and I held out a suitcase. "These are Kree crystals that do the same but are refined not to hurt humans. Perfectly safe. There's also the bank account information and a pass code you can send me when you have enough people to begin your work and need the ships. I'll give you full control after you send the contracts. It's a precautionary measure as they really do need to be signed. The ring will warn you if they try to cheat the contract by signing in some other person's blood or otherwise try to manipulate you or it."
He nodded and I sighed. "Just remember, this isn't a spy gig. Use those tactics if you want, but also remember I'm backing you and out there, you must be seen as strong and up front but honest. You represent all of humanity out there and as such you can't afford to be seen as an underhanded lier. Cunning and powerful, yes, but not a lier or a backstabber. Go for honest and honorable if you can. It'll win us allies. I have the star maps charted and all I know on each empire out there as well as the galactic threats. It's a very long list and some even I must be weary of. Try not to piss the threats off. As for the empires, do what you want, I can kill them all if they overwhelm you."
He sighed. "I don't know whether to be comforted or horrified by that statement."
I shrugged. "They're only as strong as Kree or in the case of one empire, the mutants. Besides, I'm sure you already have your second in command figured out. After all, Captain Marvel is still out there somewhere."
He grunted. "Waging her own wars."
I shrugged. "Then once you have your army, help her."
He nodded and left a lot happier than when he showed up. Having done all that, I went to Natasha who had officially resigned from shield now as Fury had left.
