Capítulo 239: Chapter 239 Selina’s Encounter With Thomas’s Aura

As Thomas sat on top of the city wall he mumbled "Maybe I'll just sleep here for a while." Thomas glanced up at the moon and said "Yeah, I'm sure I just need a few hours of shut eye." As Thomas laid down on the wall Selina approached him slowly with her sword drawn as she mumbled "I have to get a closer look at his magical aura." Selina put the sword to his throat and said "Show me your aura now, or I'll be forced to kill you." After not getting an answer Selina stared at him and asked "Do you want to die?" Selina put her sword away and said "If you don't start taking this seriously don't think for a minute that I'll show you mercy." Selina stared at his face and seen that he was sleeping. Selina's face immediately went bright red as she said "He was asleep?" Selina shook her head and said "Get it together, what would people think of they seen you threatening a sleeping person." Selina looked around and said "Doesn't seem like anyone's here." Selina slapped Thomas and said "Wake up!" Thomas immediately sat up and held his cheek as he mumbled "What happened?" Thomas stared at Selina for a few moments and said "Your, um, wait who are you?" Selina grabbed her sword and said "That's not important right now, show me your magical aura." Thomas glanced away and said "I'd rather not." Selina swung the sword once and cut Thomas's short as she said "I'm not asking, now show me the aura." Thomas held the tear and said "I'd really rather not." Selina swung once more and cut his cheek as she said "If you don't show me your aura I'll assume your nothing more then a murder and have to put an end to you now." Thomas hopped off of the wall and said "I'm already aware that I'm nothing more then a murder, that's why I'd rather not show the aura, it's as if I'm showing off the amount of people that I've killed." Selina put her sword away and punched Thomas in the face as she said "Show me the aura." Thomas stared at her and asked "If I show you, will you quit bugging me about it?" Selina nodded and said "Depending on the quality of your aura." As the magical aura flowed out of Thomas Selina stared at him and said "Now that I have a closer look at your aura, I can see that it's lacking blood lust." Selina let out a sigh of relief and said "Your aura isn't too dangerous, so long as you don't list for blood it should only be able to subdue people." Thomas stared at the ground and asked "Can I hide it away now?" Selina nodded and said "Yes I'm done inspecting it, and I have some news you may not have known about your aura." Thomas glanced at her and said "Unless it's good I'd rather not hear it." Selina poked his forehead and said "Your aura is pretty strong however it shows that you regret it heavily, so your aura isn't a deadly weapon and I won't have to kill you." Selina stared at him and said "Now that that's out of the way, what's your thoughts about joining the guild?" Thomas leaned against the wall and mumbled "First you interrogate me and now you try to convince me to work for you?" Thomas sighed and said "I already told you I'm not interested." Selina walked over beside him and said "If you join I can show you how to sense magical auras for free." Thomas stood straight up and said "If I wanna learn how to I'll ask around about it, but I don't think I'd join you even if I wanted to learn how to." Selina stared at him and said "I guess you could do that, but you'd have better chances learning from me I doubt someone else such as an extremely high ranked mage would be willing to teach you, let alone for free." Selina began to walk away as she said "I'm not gonna give up on recruiting you and by the way sorry about having to get physical." Thomas watched as she walked away and mumbled "I've been subconsciously hiding my magical aura, and the first thing I find out is that it shows how many people I've killed." Thomas glanced at the now raising sun as he said "The others should be waking up soon." Thomas jumped off of the wall and said "Id better get back pretty soon." As he landed Sarah walked up to him and said "Hey I didn't expect you to be here." Thomas stared at her and asked "What are you doing here?" Sarah smiled and said "If you wanna know you gotta come with me and help out." Thomas began to walk away as he said "On second thought maybe I should get going." Sarah grabbed onto his jacket and said "Nope to late for that, your coming with me." Thomas glanced at Sarah and asked "But why?" Sarah smiled and said "You already look like you've been in a fight so I figured your already on a roll with quests so why not help me with mine." Thomas held the cut on his cheek and said "I assure you that I didn't do any quests and this was from someone in the city." Sarah stared at his shirt and said "That doesn't matter just come with me and help out some." As they arrived in a nearby forest Thomas stared at Sarah and asked "What are you gonna have me do?" Sarah pointed in front of herself and said "We're gonna find some rich persons book!" Thomas stared at her and said "You want me to try and sniff it out don't you?" Sarah nodded and said "I only took this quest on because of the high pay, I actually don't know if it's around here or not but he did mention traveling through a forest before he lost it." Sarah pointed at Thomas and shouted "Quick smell it out so we can get paid." Thomas stared at the compass that was now in his hand as Sarah asked "What are you doing?" Thomas began to walk off as the compass disappeared. Sarah began to follow him as she asked "Do you already know where it is?" After waking for around ten minutes Thomas picked a book up off of the ground and said "Here it is." Sarah quickly grabbed the book and said "You found it already?" Thomas nodded and asked "Can I go now?" Sarah handed Thomas three silver coins and said "This is for helping me." Thomas stared at the coins for a few moments and said "What's up with this?" Sarah stared at the coins and asked "What don't you want it?" Thomas stored the coins away and said "It's not that I don't want it I'm just surprised you actually paid me and didn't just drag me along." Sarah nodded and said "Of course I can spare a few silver coins, this quest is gonna give me ten gold coins." Thomas stood there for a few moments and said "Yeah that pretty much explains my suspicions." Sarah stared at him and asked "What does that mean?" Thomas stared at her and said "You've been using me ever since I arrived here." Sarah nodded and said "Well you are pretty amazing and you can do various things normal people can't so of course I'm gonna take advantage of you." Thomas stared at her and said "I'm actually shocked that you admitted that to my face." Sarah nodded and said "Yeah well it's not like you care either way so there's no point in hiding it." Thomas began to walk away as he said "I'm going back to the city, also I can't believe you said that so proudly." Sarah began to follow him as she asked "What's so unbelievable about it?" Thomas glanced at her and smiled as he said "It doesn't really matter." Sarah stared at him and said "Fine don't tell me, but at least answer me this, do you think Lily would sell you to me?" Thomas glanced at her and said "Probably not, some people have already tried." Sarah sighed and said "I could've had the best guild in this city if she would." Thomas glanced up into the sky and said "You still trying to improve the guild?" Sarah nodded and said "Yeah but it's progressing so slowly, I bet if I had your help I could get it up and going in no time." Thomas glanced at her and said "I'm sure the others aren't in a rush to find me, so I'll help you out for the day." Sarah smiled and asked "Are you serious?" Thomas nodded and said "Yeah, besides it'll help me ease my mind." Sarah smiled and said "We're taking the toughest quest when we get back and we are gonna slay the biggest and baddest monster around this city." Thomas stood there and said "I'm pretty sure we don't need to do that." After not getting an answer Thomas mumbled "She's so excited she can't even hear me."
