Capítulo 68: 68. Normal Day

( THIRD PERSON POV )

Completing his early jog in the morning along with his core muscle drills, Rei got into the hot shower. Taking his sweet time in the bath, Rei thought about the things he can do the 3 days he has left before the school starts.

He wasn't going to practice these 3 days as he was ordered to rest by Shirogana. He got out of the bath wearing fresh clothes and went towards the kitchen. He helped Narumi with breakfast and called everyone for breakfast.

Having breakfast with everyone, he went to the hall and turned the television on. He was waiting for Mizuki and Keiko to come over for his summer holiday homework. Chilling on the sofa, watching a movie he heard the doorbell ring.

He turned it off and went to see who it was. He opened the door and saw 2 mindblowing beauties talking with each other.

One was a girl with average height for a girl of her age with brown hair, tied up to a pony. The hair was swaying to the sides. Her dimples were evident with her smiling ear to ear. She had a lively and pretty charm enchanting everyone around her.

She gave out a feeling of warmth making everyone get close to her. She had tanned skin from the heat enchanting her charm further together with her beautiful figure. She carried a box in her hands talking with the girl beside her. This was Keiko, one of Rei's best friends.

A lot has changed not only with her looks but also her personality. The little shy girl 2 years back was nowhere to be found in her anymore. She was the school idol in her first year and got proposals from various boys from all the grades. She made a lot of friends but was always close to Rei and Mizuki.

Next to her was one more mind-blowing beauty. She was Rei's height with a rare silvery hair left freely in the air. She had a cool and elegant vibe to her, making everyone har to approach her. She has not changed a lot from the 2 years. She was still the girl who was distant from others except for Keiko and Rei. This was Mizuki.

The cold atmosphere around her made her beauty stand out more. She was the 'Ice Princess' of the school due to this. She had a perfect figure a bit more for her age. She always smiled when she spent time with her 2 best friends, unlike other times.

They turned their attention towards Rei and greeted him with a dazzling smile. Rei greeted them back and invited them inside. Taking them towards his room they sat down. Rei took out his books and gave them to them.

Mizuki looked around the room and asked, "So you are finally playing." noticing the catcher gear Shirogana gave him.

Rei noticed her gaze and answered, "Yes I started playing again. I got through the problems I had and will join the baseball team as their catcher when the school starts."

This time it was Keiko who finally answered, noticing the kit, "That is very good Rei. Now you can finally play again."

Rei nodded and motioned them to start writing. They all got to studying and Rei taught them when they had doubts. The study session went peacefully except for Mizuki's constant frustration when it comes to studies. She was a once-in-a-decade prodigy in karate but it was the complete opposite in her studies.

Rei could only laugh at her frustration and continued to explain to her when she encountered a problem. As they studied the door opened and Sora stood by the entrance.

"Kaa-san is calling you three for lunch." and went away.

Rei checked his phone and noticed it was already noon. He stood up and said, "Come let's go have lunch and continue again."

Keiko and Mizuki looked at each other and nodded. They stood up and all three of them made their way towards the dining room. Mizuki and Keiko bowed a little before sitting done and said "Sorry for the intrusion."

Narumi waved her hand, smiling and said, "It's alright Keiko and Mizuki. You guys are always welcome here. Now sit down and start eating before it gets cold."

Hearing her both of them smiled and ate with the family. They went back to the room after eating to continue on their homework. Time slowly passed by and by the time they noticed it the sun was already setting.

"Ok, this is enough for today. Both of you did a very good job today. Let's stop here for today and you can take the books with you"

Keiko and Mizuki nodded and packed their bags to go back home. They went across the hall and Narumi noticed them.

"You both are already going? Stay for dinner it's alright," asked Narumi.

"No, it's alright Narumi-san. We will get going now," said Keiko politely with a smile.

Narumi nodded and reminded them, "Go home safely."

Both of them nodded and all three of them went out. Standing out of the house Rei reminded them again, "Go home quickly and call me when you reach home."

They nodded and Mizuki spoke up, "Let's go to the mall the day after. It would be nice before we go back to school."

Before Rei could reply, Keiko nodded and agreed, "Yes it would be very good. Let's go." turning her head towards Rei.

Under the gazes of his 2 best friends, Rei nodded and said, "Ok let's go. But only if you both complete your homework."

Both of them were happy healing his starting words but their mood turned 180 degrees hearing the later part. It was especially for Mizuki, She looked up and noticed him looking at her with a stern expression.

Knowing she can't get out of this, she nodded and said reluctantly, "Ok."

Rei smiled and after a couple more exchanges all of them parted ways. He got inside and helped Narumi with the dinner. He received messages from both of them as he set the table indicating they reached home. He slept after helping with the dishes.
