Capítulo 169: Black Box

Kian and I head down to the office and just like Shelly said, nothing's out of place. I walk to my back office and open the door to find the black box sitting on my desk with nothing else. Kian's quick to stop me as he grabs my arm and says "Careful." 

I give him a smile before patting his hand and saying "I'll be careful, I promise." He doesn't look convinced. We both walk up to the box but before I try to open it, I lift my hand and use my magic to test it out.

I don't get a bad vibe and I can't really detect anything other than normal magic. I grab the end of the black silk tie holding it closed and tug. The silk tie easily slips undone and harmlessly lands on top of the desk. I carefully lift up the lid and look down into the box to find a single, white business card sitting in the middle.
