Capítulo 104: ch 103
I expected for the sultan to hesitate possibly beg for an easier task especially because he spoke about mourning his son prior never in did I expect that he would easily give in he didn't waste any time calling his sons into his study and killing them he only faced difficulties with his children who developed a firm base or began to figure out his intentions and started to run and/or warn their siblings which led to them fighting in the dark unfortunately for them their insane father cut off all forms of communication with the outside then his assassins subdued their loyalist before capturing his sons and literally beat them to death with his bare hands including the one that first brought me to the capital all those years ago.
The wedding reception was glamorous with the most important people of the sultanate in attendance everyone was fawning over Savita and Haifa as they were dressed in immaculate gowns that emphasized their already amazing figures Shalu presided over the entire ceremony the only thing that seemed to distract the guests in attendance was the fact that none of the princes were in attendance.
Sultan:"My people on this most joyous day I must regretfully inform you all that days ago two of my sons staged a coup d'etat it was only by the timely intervention of my son in law that I even breathe today even now I can barely believe it but I will still mourn them and forgive them for their transgressions against me but I can't ignore the fact that they slaughtered their brothers but because of this I can no longer serve as sultan and shall retire passing the throne to my new son" he gestures to me "henceforth he shall be your new sultan!"
Me:"Thank you father" I pat him on the shoulder releasing a parasitic poison "I wish that I didn't have to ascend the throne under these circumstances but regardless I shall do my best to rule with wisdom to do what is best for the Sultanate with Shalu as my sultana and my wives by my side"
the former sultan face is still frozen in a smile as Shalu smiles back at him with the most joyous expression he has ever seen on her face Faysal looks devastated and quickly leaves the palace Morden is in complete disbelief it is if his soul has left him as for the sultan the last of what is left of his mind crumbles away as he is unable to turn away as Shalu stares lovingly into my eyes the poison in his system then leaves him unconscious as he escorted away to retire for the evening as guests both congratulate me and pass their condolences little do they know that today would be last time they would ever see the former sultan as he would die from a broken heart soon after.
