With that thought in mind, Alex abruptly halted, picked up his pace, and dashed forward. But just as he was about to move, a furious snarl echoed in his ears. The fog suddenly thickened, and a massive hand emerged from within, reaching out for Alex and the girl he was holding. Within moments, a grotesque gorilla covered in decaying, bloody flesh emerged from the fog and lunged at Alex.
